91. Vierra's anger
"You're not going to the office?" Vierra asked, trying to be calm as if nothing had happened between them.
"How can I go to the office? Today we're going to set the date for our wedding." Satya's words instantly made Vierra seem to be struck by lightning emerging from her own body!!!
"A, what did you say?!!" Vierra asked with a choked voice.
"Hm, what you just heard is true. I had no choice but to choose this way, you know what would happen to Claudia and Rangga when she found out you were carrying a baby from-"
Plaque!!
A slap landed on Satya's cheek.
"What right do you have to decide my life?! I never asked you to protect me!! Now tell me who knows about it?!!" Vierra asked so angrily at Satya.
How dare the man decide something without talking about it first with her.
Who wants to spend a lifetime with an unloved person?!!
Although there was, but he would never take such a ridiculous decision!!!
"Sorry, I didn't know you were going this bad. But the only ones who know about this matter are my mother and my father, we agreed not to tell anyone else, even your father and mother don't know." Satya.
Vierra gritted her teeth at the man in front of her, but she did not care much about him and simply walked away entering the house.
Satya looked at Vierra's back, which was away from the man, and then approached the rear view of the car. He saw her cheek that was reddish due to the slap marks on her face.
"Geez, what else do I have to use reason?" Satya said feeling frustrated.
At least if Vierra wants to slap him or beat him to the brunt then do it after the family meeting!!!
When he entered, everyone turned their heads towards him except for Vierra just sitting with a flat face.
"Lho, what's wrong with your face?" Windri asked in confusion.
The man came out in fine condition but came back with that cheek.....
"Don't tell me Vierra just-" Kartika turned her head towards her daughter.
Did his daughter just slap Satya?
"No!! I accidentally fell over and, uh, my cheek first touched the floor." Said Satya covering her cheeks with one hand then the man sat on the chair while pretending to support his head with his hands right on his cheeks.
He did not want people to notice that the one printed on his cheek was Vierra's hand.
"Ah so, I think my daughter has slapped you." Kartika said a sigh of relief.
But other than Kartika, everyone who was there could guess clearly about what had happened. Windri and her husband.
'Did Satya actually tell you something wrong, or was there something else that made Vierra slap him?' Windri muttered, it seems like he will have to go back to questioning his son!!
Finally everyone began to discuss the marriage of Vierra and Satya and soon decided the wedding will be held next week exactly in 10 days.
"Then we all have to divide the task so that this sudden marriage can take place well." Windri said then they began to divide the task between the two families.
Satya she noticed Vierra who seemed uninterested in the conversation, 'Actually what does Vierra want? Does he still think that he wants to be with Rangga?' Satya wondered in her heart but she did not say anything and just quietly listened to their parents who were talking.
