The Rewards for Mathias

That afternoon after Rey had lunch with Gun and Sista, he said goodbye to Morgan.

He drove his car towards the dock on the outskirts of J.

Long enough to get to that place, Rey took over an hour. Though the road he traveled was very quiet, especially the road to the old pier.

On his way there he saw Robin and several other men. They managed to secure Mathias' son and wife in their hands. While some others secured Jordan and Hendrawan's men.

"Good afternoon secretary Rey" said Robin.

But Rey just nodded her head, she then checked the captives in the middle - the middle of his men.

Rey crouched down and tried to recognize their faces by grabbing their chin roughly. But Rey doesn't know who they are.

"Repair them! I'll take Mathias' wife and children with me."

"Good, Sir."

Robin then codes his men to end the game immediately.

Some members of The Lion took them into the forest. This old pier is very close to the wilderness. There are small villages there. The inhabitants are very few. The road there was also badly damaged.

According to Robin, Mathias' son and wife were sealed in one of the old buildings in one of the villages.

The situation of the two people is very alarming, Rey barely even recognize the figure of Mathias' wife who used to be quite beautiful and well-groomed. Moreover, their children, their condition is really thin and shabby.

Rey took them into her car and left the place.

"When did they take you?" ask Rey after a while to drive her car.

"I don't know, hiks .. hiks ..." Mathias' wife seems to be still traumatized. His body trembled, not knowing what they had done to this woman.

While a boy about ten years old looked like a dazed person. There were scars on his temples, and bruises on his body.

Seeing that, Rey did not ask him to speak anymore. He focused on his drive to their destination.

Hearing Rey's words, the woman seemed to think.

"So your words! If you want to know the truth, ask your husband! He's in the room at the end of that hall."

Rey then walks the woman along with her son to meet Mathias in her nursery.

"My husband ..." call the woman in a hoarse voice.

"Laura? Axel?" Mathias turned to the source of the voice.

Mathias got out of his bed and hugged the two who had just arrived. He misses his beloved wife and son.

"I'm so worried about you guys" Mathias said in an awkward manner.

"We were also very frightened, they were very evil. I'm scared, honey."

Laura also cried no less great, as well as her son. For several weeks they were taken hostage and treated very badly, now they can finally survive and be reunited.

"You look so skinny Laura, and you're Axel, so many bruises on your body, son? Forgive me for not taking good care of you."

"They treat us like animals. We are fed once every two days. They tortured us, too."

Hearing that, Rey felt very angry. His hands clenched hard.

"Isn't it really the Lord of the Hero who did this?" ask Laura then.

"That's not true Laura! The real culprit was Jordan. The guy who almost blew up the main building. You remember?"

"Jordan almost killed me, too, look! He shot me twice. Lucky secretary Rey came in time and saved me. Otherwise, I might not be able to see you again."

Laura looked at the wound on her husband's stomach and shed her tears.

Somehow now it must be how, this is the worst experience of his life. But even so, she still had to remain grateful because after the terrible incident she experienced, she could still be reunited with her husband.

Morgan and his father entered the room shortly after.

Both Morgan and Wira were equally surprised by the circumstances of Mathias's son and wife.

"You ... How can it be like this?" ask the hero after approaching them.

"Laura and Axel got very bad treatment from Jordan's men, sir."

"Rey, ask Riu to return to the main building and help you get this thing done as soon as possible!" tell mister Wira.

"Good sir."

That afternoon Wira and Morgan apologized for the incident that happened to Mathias' family. They certainly did not expect if Jordan re-engaged children and women to smooth their actions.

This is no longer tolerable, Wira felt very furious if Jordan again used this method for business matters.

That same day Mathias and his family were ushered back to their new home, not far from Wiratmadja's residence. There were already guards there ready to secure the man's family.

"Sir, thank you for caring so much about us. And as for the money I've already embezzled, all that money is still intact and safe" Mathias said.

They are now sitting in the living room, in the new house owned by Mathias which was just presented by Wira.

"I trust you, for a while you don't have to go to the office. Focus first on your family and use the money for your needs and your family" replied Wira, patting Mathias on the shoulder.

"But Mr ...."

"Mathias, your loyalty to me and to my son is much more expensive. That money is too little to appreciate all your sacrifices. Morgan and I are very grateful to you and apologise to all of you" he said.

Wira and her son and Rey then leave from there.
