MARRIED A CRUEL MAN
Episode 18 of Reunion

Without much ado, Niko immediately moves the photo to her laptop and Niko fiddles with her laptop, leaving Thomas confused.

"Why you?" ask Thomas.

"Have you asked Stevi about the photo before?" niko asked with a focus on her laptop.

"No, I'm emotional so I don't want to ask Stevi the truth because just seeing that photo I'm disgusted with her" Thomas said.

"Bas stupid."

"What do you mean I'm stupid?" snapped Thomas.

It didn't take long, Niko was finally able to prove that the photo was edited.

"Look, the photo was an edit that turns out that the man was sleeping with Stevi, only his face was changed into Stevi's face," Niko exclaimed.

Instantly surprised by Thomas and snatch Niko's laptop, Thomas really did not think that the photo was fake and more suffocating to the chest, Thomas just ran away without asking for an explanation from Stevi first.

"Campus you, now you regret especially now Stevi is married to your brother," led Niko.

Thomas grabbed his own hair, he felt frustrated and at once guilt haunted Thomas. He could not imagine how heartbroken Stevi was when Thomas wickedly ran away on their wedding day.

"Damn, why didn't I find out first about the truth of the photo. I got too carried away with my emotions so I couldn't think much of it, '" Thomas said.

"Continue now what are you going to do?" ask Niko.

"I think I should go home and apologize to Stevi even though I know it's going to be hard because it's possible that Stevi won't forgive me."

"Yes, obviously, Stevi can forgive what you've done. Your actions are already very fatal and inexcusable," cried Niko.

Thomas's body was so limp, he dropped his body on the sofa. Right now he feels very guilty to Stevi.

"I'm sorry, Stevi," Thomas murmured.

The next day...

Today is the weekend, and Stevi plans to stay home. Suddenly, Stevi's phone vibrated a sign that a message was coming in.

Turns out it was a message from one of his High School friends that tonight they will hold a reunion.

"Good luck again" Stevi murmured.

Stevi has been absent from the reunion for several years because of his busy life.

"It seems like tonight I have to come, it's not good to be absent" Stevi murmured.

Stevi wakes up and looks for a dress she will wear tonight.

"Maya must have come too, would she come with Alex?" mummy Stevi.

After finding the dress she was going to wear, Stevi went downstairs because her stomach was very hungry. Stevi began making pasta, until a while later Alex came down with a neat outfit.

Alex looked up at Stevi who was cooking.

"What can he cook for?" muttered Alex.

Alex was about to step foot but Stevi turned.

"Sister, wait!"

"What's wrong?"

"Whatever, you want to go or not because it's none of my business."

"All right, the important thing is that I've asked permission because after all, Brother is my husband and I have to get permission if I want to travel out of the house."

Alex smiled cynically and immediately left Stevi, in his heart Stevi was so sick but Stevi tried hard. Stevi returned to the kitchen to finish her cooking.

Meanwhile in the apartment, Thomas was still sitting pensive. Last night he did not sleep because he remembered Stevi, he could not imagine how devastated Stevi was at that time.

"Did Alex's brother treat Stevi well?" mumbling Thomas.

Thomas rubbed his face violently, not feeling Thomas' tears drip by itself. His heart ached so much and his chest was so tight that he knew it was not Stevi but someone else.

"Who has sent the photo and what is the motive? just be aware that until I know who that person is, I promise I will never let him go even he has to pay for every pain Stevi has felt" Thomas murmured.

Evening has arrived...

Stevi took a look in front of the mirror, after it was felt that Stevi was out of her room and down the stairs.

Alex, who was focused on watching television in the living room, turned his head when he heard Stevi's heels. Again Alex can only gap to see the appearance of Stevi, it is undeniable that Stevi is very beautiful and Alex also in his heart admitted that Stevi is a perfect woman.

"Sister, I go first" cried Stevi.

"Hmm."

Stevi didn't say much anymore, and he drove off in his own car. It did not take long, Stevi arrived at a five-star hotel where the reunion event was held.

Stevi moved her legs very gracefully making all eyes look towards Stevi.

"Hi, Stevi!" greet Rida.

"Hi, Rida."

"Geez you're getting more beautiful."

"Ah you can," said Stevi.

"Seriously, you're more beautiful if those who don't know you must think you're not married" continued Lili.

"Oh yes, where is your husband? how not to invite?" ask Rida.

"He's not feeling well anymore, so he can't come along" Stevi lied.

"How does it feel to be married to that handsome businessman? alex said the guy was cold and cruel, and then did he behave like that just like you?" ask Lili.

"Jeez Lili, if the same wife must be romantic, the same time his wife is cold too, right Stev?" connect Rida.

Stevi just smiled in response to the chattering of her High School friends, until soon Maya came. Maya greets everyone except Stevi making everyone feel weird because Maya and Stevi are two humans who are like glue sticking to each other.

"Stev, are you the same Maya? how did he not kill you?" ask Rida.

Once again Stevi only smiled, she did not want her problem with Maya being spread to everyone.

Stevi started mingling with her friends first, everyone likes Stevi because Stevi was never arrogant even though she was the daughter of a rich businessman but Stevi is still friendly and kind to everyone.

"Based on a sycophant, it's possible that everyone would praise Stevi," Maya's inner self-deprecatedly.

Stevi was laughing, though, this is the first time Stevi can laugh again after yesterday-yesterday he felt a lot of sadness even though when he came home later Stevi will return sad but at least for tonight Stevi can laugh and forgetting a moment of his life problems.
