Episode 42 The Rancid Girl

Alex arrives at his house at night, and he immediately takes a bath and has dinner with Thomas and his parents.

"Alhamdulillah your first sale smoothly, hopefully next you are given smoothness," exclaimed Mama Linda.

"Amin, Mama, just pray" said Alex.

"Where were you going, brother?" ask Thomas.

"To Stevi's house."

"Just make sure Stevi's gone."

Once at dawn Alex and Thomas were up, they prepared the ingredients for the resale.

"Thom, we go to the market first but there's still time" Alex exclaimed.

Alex and Thomas went to the market with their mother because Alex and Thomas did not know what good materials were like. Alex is riding his mother while Thomas is carrying a motorcycle alone.

Alex accidentally hit a woman, the woman was about to fall but swiftly Alex held the woman's body so as not to fall.

For a moment, Alex and the woman looked at each other.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" Alex exclaimed.

"Ah, it's okay, Mom."

Alex helps pick up the woman's belongings that fell while Thomas and his mother are already walking far ahead.

"This is your groceries."

"Thank you, Mum."

"Then I go first."

Alex immediately followed Thomas and his mother, while the woman who was none other than Lana seemed to be smiling herself, she held her chest which currently felt a very tight beat.

"Oh my God, so handsome. Many years of shopping to the market, only this time met a handsome man. Where my heart beats no longer, hopefully I can meet again with the man and if I meet again, I'm sure we are a match," Lana's inner with her smile.

Lana with a flowery heart immediately went home. As usual, Lana rode an angkot and during the trip Lana unceasingly smiled like crazy.

"Ah, it seems like I'm in love at first sight," Lana's inner self.

Alex and Thomas sell morning to afternoon if Saturday and Sunday, but if Monday to Friday they will sell in the afternoon only.

As usual, Niko will help Alex and Thomas bring their things to the location even help sell again like the day before.

Meanwhile, at the home...

Lana will be helped by other children to bring various kinds of wet cakes made by herself and also Mother Fatma.

"Yes mother, Lana is healthy so you don't worry" said Lana.

They ride bicycles because the distance Lana sells from the orphanage is not too far away. Until a few minutes later they arrived at their usual place of sale, but Lana felt surprised when there was a shop that was already standing there.

"Yes, who set up the tent here?" pissed Lana.

Until not long later Niko's car arrived at the location, while Alex has not arrived because he refueled the motor first.

"Hi, why are you at our sales stand!" shout Thomas.

Lana turned her body around, she felt very upset because it was where she was selling. Lana immediately approached Thomas and ruffled her waist in front of Thomas.

"Hi, that's my selling place so why are you selling there? unload no, the tent!" shouted Lana.

"Didih, since when is that your place of sale? besides, when we get here, we don't see you selling there" said Thomas.

"I'm sick, so I don't sell. But now that I'm healthy and selling there again, I just don't want to know you guys have to dismantle that tent!" shouted Lana.

"Basic crazy boy. Nik, let's get our stuff done" Thomas exclaimed.

Thomas and Niko don't care about Lana, they pick up the goods and clean it up.

"Ih, that sucks. You didn't hear, if this is my place of sale!" shouted Lana.

"Gosh, your throat doesn't hurt, you scream early in the morning" exclaimed Niko.

"We've paid the rent for this place so you have no right to kick us out, you better find somewhere else now" said Thomas.

"Don't want to, all my customers already know that I'm selling here so if I move, they'll look for me" Lana exclaimed regretfully.

"It's Nik, just ignore that little boy," cried Thomas.

"What's? rancid boy? just any once you call me a little girl," Lana annoyed.

Thomas and Niko ignored Lana, they were just busy preparing the goods and materials they were going to sell to make Lana upset.

Suddenly Lana sits on the ground pretending to cry out in shock wishing Thomas and Niko pity and moves on from there but again the two handsome men are busy with their jobs like Thomas and Niko I know that Lana was just pretending.

Until Alex arrived and frowned when he saw the woman who was crying.

"What's this?" ask Alex.

Lana turned her head and was surprised, then Lana stood up and cleaned her dirty pants.

"Pretty good-looking," Lana exclaimed with her smile.

"What's wrong?" ask Alex coldly.

"Sir, the little boy admitted that this is his place of sale when clearly we have rented this place" said Thomas.

"Well, but yesterday the person in charge of this place did not tell us that this place already occupies, have you paid the rent? if you pay, then let me report to him again" Alex exclaimed.

"Ah, not Mas. Okay, let me just sell there," said Lana by pointing at an empty spot across from Alex's stand.

"Well, you're not an official seller here. You're an illegal seller who uses an empty place" Thomas said.

"What the hell? what illegal seller? Di, let's just move there," exclaimed Lana.

Finally Lana relented, she and her younger sister were selling across from Alex's stand.

"Oh my God, I never thought I could meet that handsome Mas again. I'm really happy, lest she mate with me again," Lana's inner self with her smile.
