Marrying a Maid's Child

Marrying a Maid's Child
Chapter 2 - Shouldn't Be in College

An hour after the examination, Jihan's mother finally regained consciousness from her stupor. Dew and Sophie who saw him also breathed a sigh of relief. The two hugged the mother's body while expressing gratitude for still being able to see their mother regaining consciousness.

"Why did you fall in the bathroom?" Asked Gently Dew with both eyes that looked flushed holding back tears.

Bu Jihan looked at the face of her eldest daughter. "I'm sorry Mom, Dewun. Not being careful, she slipped and fell in the bathroom."

Dew shook his head. "Mom is not wrong. Dew's wrong for not keeping Mom with Sophie."

"Don't blame yourself, son. It's all pure Mother's fault." Answer Ma Jihan.

The dew breathed deeply. This time he no longer intended to answer his mother's words considering that his mother had just regained consciousness from her stupor and was not well taken to talk too much.

"Mom and Sophie wait a minute here, yeah. Dew wants to call the doctor first to check on Mom's condition."

Mom and Sophie nodded their heads. After getting answers, Dew rushed to call the doctor to make sure his mother's condition returned.

After the doctor confirmed that their mother was doing well, Dewun and Sophie brought their mother home.

Two days have passed since Mother Jihan's tragedy fell inside the bathroom. And today, it's been exactly two weeks that Ms. Jihan hasn't been in to work as a maid at her employer's house.

The dew breathed deeply. His mother's face still looked pale. Although his mother said it was fine, but Dewun could see if his mother was still not healthy to be able to work again.

"Mother, instead of saying Mother Mother Mother Mother is very good to Mother. Mother's employer has even given a dispensation for Mother's holiday while still sick." Answer Dew.

"Even so, I feel bad for Ms. Meisya, son. After all, Mother's salary money last month has been thinning. If you don't work, where do we eat?"

The two eyelids of Dew were closed to hear the statement at the end of his mother's words. As the backbone of the family, the salary of his mother as a maid is what supports their lives so far. If the mother does not go to work, then where can they get money to eat and daily needs?

"If only the Dew hadn't gone to college. Dew can definitely help you make money for your everyday life." Regretfully.

Jihan's mother rubbed her daughter's hair fondly. "Don't talk like that, Dew. Mother asked you to focus on college. Trouble making money, it's Mom's job."

The dew is about to return. But the intention was instantaneously puffed up when he heard the voice of someone saying greetings in front of his house.

"Who's visiting this early in the morning." Dew Mumb. Curious, Dew immediately moved from a sitting position and out of the room to open the front door.

"Good morning, sorry to interrupt." Said a middle-aged woman who still looked beautiful at her age who was no longer young when the door had just opened Dew from inside.
