Marrying the Cruel Young Master 2

Marrying the Cruel Young Master 2
Bonus Chapter - Devotional

At night, Viana looked pensive on the porch of her father's house. He stared at the motorbike that passed by the dust that flew but was not visible due to the thick of the night.

He looked up at the sky. "Am I wrong to have married someone a hundred and eighty degrees from me?" Viana asked the shining moon, the blowing wind, and the twinkling stars.

"Vi." Hendra's voice resuscitated Viana from her daydream.

"Dad." Viana wiped away her tears that had unfeelingly wet her cheeks.

"Why are you staring? What's in your heart?" asked Hendra while sitting on the chair right beside Viana.

"Nothing, Dad."

"Why do you regret your decision to marry Sean? Remember, you have two kids." Hendra rubbed Viana's shoulder.

"I just realized that we're different, Dad. He is a powerful man. He's like a king and I'm a palace servant." This time Viana did not cover up again. Her tears flowed back down her cheeks.

"Don't talk like that. If you are a friend, there is no such thing as inappropriate. He loves you very much and gladly accepts your shortcomings. He even willingly men,,,," Hendra stopped his words when he realized what he was going to say.

"What's up, Dad?"

"He was willing to save you and Dad when we kidnapped Kenzie." Hendra continued.

"Father's right. But he still did not want to set foot in this house anymore. Doesn't he think that my parents are his parents too? He's selfish, Dad. She always wanted everything to her liking without thinking about my feelings." Now Viana spilled all her stuff.

"Dad understood that actually meant it not so. He just wants your kids to be healthy. It is true, here they can contract the disease. Moreover, Reyza whose immune system is weaker than Sevina."

"Dad why so good. I even defended people who didn't appreciate me." Viana hugged her father.

"Dad didn't want Daddy's son and daughter-in-law to be at odds just because Dad. Know, Son. Sean was a good husband. He loves you so much. Don't you see, he's a CEO, but he's never been involved in a scandal with a woman. He's very loyal to you. All this just because the house isn't exactly where it belongs."

Hearing Hendra's words, Viana smiled again. "Thank you, Dad. You've made me feel better." Viana took off her hug and rubbed her father's hand.

"No need to cook. Father has ordered food for all of us including orphans and gays" said Hendra.

"And the cake?"

"Don't doubt Dad. It's all set." Hendra smiled confidently.

"Dad is everything. How do I repay him?" Viana hugged her father again but this time with a smile sign her heart was happy.

"By loosening up a little bit of your embrace and letting Dad breathe."

"Oh, sorry, Dad." Viana took off her embrace. Hendra breathed again.

"You're old, but your energy is still strong, yes."

"I still practice a lot, Dad. As well as training Sevina."

"Oh yes, Sevina. Dad still remembers when he kicked a guava tree to get its fruit. And at that time Dad wasn't the harvest." Hendra pointed to the guava tree in his yard.

"Dad remember?" Viana started to chuckle as she recalled the incident.

"Yes, and that's why Reyza fell into a ditch for trying to catch the guava that fell to the ground."

"Sevina was impatient, just like her papa."

"Fruit fell not far from the tree. His nature is like his father, but his strength is like his mother. Complete package, isn't it?"

Hendra's words made Viana laugh again. And that night he went through contemplating, crying, and laughing.
