Early in the morning, Sahara threw the rest of the dinner garbage into the trash can across the house.
A man who was running in the morning passed in front of him, the man stopped and approached the Sahara and asked "hi, I'm yoga, did you just move here? What's your name?”
Sahara glanced at the man. “Iya,” the answer is brief and careful. Of course he must remain vigilant, especially he is still new in Jakarta.
“You live in the opposite house huh?”
“Iya.”
“My house is at the end of the turn. Oh yeah, you're still in school what's college?”
“New to college.”
“Oh...New to college yah, I'm already semester five.”
“Oh yes, Yaudah, if that's what I entered first yes.”
“Eh, how in a hurry?”
But Sahara did not care about Yoya and and did not linger to chat with him.
Raden, who was watching Sahara chatting with other men from inside the house, was visibly upset and angry.
When Sahara entered the house, Sahara was surprised to see Raden who was already standing at the door. Sahara tried to explain the incident to Raden.
“Kak, sorry I was..”
“I take a shower first well mel, you get ready we go out for breakfast,” Raden cut off Sahara talk.
“Iya kak.”
Sahara exhaled, "It's a good thing that Raden's brother is not angry.”
Meanwhile, in the bathroom Raden was still upset. He was jealous to see the incident, but he was not upright to scold the Sahara. The Sahara is not wrong either.
An irritated Raden turned on the shower and flushed all over his body with cold water.
After the bath, Raden put on his clothes. It looks good, and so does the Sahara. They got into the car and left.
“What do you want to eat Ra?” ask Raden while driving.
“Kalo can, I want to go to market aja, want to cook yourself.”
“Eumm, okay, but now make breakfast buy it first yeah, I'm laper.”
“Iya kak.”
“We ate at the cafe it was yes, later home from the market you cook new eat.”
“Iya kak.”
After they finished breakfast, Raden through Maps on his phone looking for the location of the nearest market from where they are currently. After finding it, Raden immediately drove his car to the address he had saved.
Their car also turned towards a traditional market that looks crowded. When he got there, the Sahara got out of the car excitedly.
“Kak Raden if you don't want to go down no matter brother. I can shop by myself,” Sahara said.
But Raden decided to come down and go shopping with Sahara at the market. He could not have left his wife alone. Like a duckling and his mother, Raden follows the Sahara who takes him through the scent-filled market alleys.
As they entered the market, Raden felt a different atmosphere from what he was used to. The bustling market, the boisterous sound of called merchandise, and the strong-tasting aroma of spices made him feel awkward and uncomfortable. Raden tried to hide his discomfort, but the sensitive Sahara felt it immediately. She told her husband to go back to the car.
“So back to car.”
Raden was amazed to see his wife who looked so painstakingly choose and sort out the items to be purchased. The Sahara also walked among the merchants, picking fresh vegetables and spices for their cuisine. He is happy to interact with the sellers.
Sahara pulls Raden's hand towards the condiment seller. He picked a variety of fresh herbs and told Raden how to use them in cooking.
Finished buying all the necessary necessities, Raden and Sahara decided to return to the car. As they were about to get into the car, Sahara saw the cobbler across the street. Politely and slightly begging Sahara also ask permission to Raden to stop for a while to buy the lilok.
Sahara and Raden stepped towards the lizard who was across the street with a hopeful face. Raden was anxious to see Sahara, who looked like a child craving ice cream. He could not help but smile at the expression of Sahara that was so innocent and asked politely.
Arriving in front of the barber, Sahara kindly ordered a few pegs for the two of them. Raden observes with amazement how the Sahara gently and politely interacts with the lizard. He saw how the Sahara sincerely showed her gratitude to the cobbler.
However, when it came time to pay, Sahara shyly admitted that she forgot to bring money. His facial expression turned anxious, and Sahara apologized to Raden. Raden, who initially felt anxious, was even more anxious and felt funny to see the behavior of Sahara. He gave a gentle smile to the Sahara and happily took out fifty thousand dollars from his wallet.
"Don't worry, I'll pay. I have a lot of money, if I need to buy a wagon with his brother. You want?" said Raden with a confident joke while giving money to the cobbler.
Sahara who initially felt helped and protected by her husband, became shy smile, “what the heck kak?”
“But don't,” Raden suddenly changed his mind. “kannya you already have me. Kasian his brother's wife at home if you take, yes no bang?” Raden raised his eyebrows towards the cobbler.
“Hehe, I happen to have divorced my wife. If this beautiful neng wants, say very willing,” said the lizard while mesem-mesem.
Raden, whose initial intention was to tempt the Sahara but was instead serious by the lizard, upset her. He hastily pulled the hand of the Sahara and took her away from the place. Sahara could only smile amusedly looking at him.
Arriving at the car, they store the groceries they have purchased before into the trunk. Raden helped Sahara open the luggage door and enter all the items carefully. Seeing Raden so considerate and responsible made the Sahara a little happy. At least Raden wasn't as gluttonous as he used to be.
The sun was already starting to scorch in the sky, and they felt relieved to be back home after finishing taking care of their shopping needs. Raden sat in the driver's seat, grasping the steering wheel with great caution. Sahara sat beside him, holding a pack of lizards that made Sahara's mouth impatient to try.
"Sister, can't I eat this lick right now?" sahara asked her husband in a soft voice and a hopeful look.
Raden smiled broadly. "Bby dong. But please open the window a little so that the smell doesn't bother us in the car."
Sahara nodded her head, happy to have permission from Raden. He opened the window slightly, giving a gap to the scented scent coming out of the car. Smiling, Sahara offered one peek to Raden. "Wouldn't you try?"
Raden glanced at the cilok doubtfully. As a child of the rich, he rarely tasted snacks like cilok. However, seeing Sahara's enthusiasm, he finally agreed to try.
“Eum.. may be, but bribe yes, because I'm driving again," Raden said with a smile.
Sahara smiled and nodded, "OK."
Raden opened his mouth wide, and Sahara fed the lick into his mouth with tenderness. The taste was really delicious, and Raden was delighted to be able to taste it. When the two of them were engrossed in the moment, accidentally, the cilok sauce hit the corner of Raden's lips. Raden was troubled by the sticky sensation on his lips and asked Sahara to remove it with a tissue. The Sahara took the tissue from inside their storage box and gently swept the lilok sauce off Raden's lips.
However, when the Sahara saw Raden's face up close, their eyes accidentally met. Their views intertwined in silence for a moment, and right then and there, Sahara and Raden felt something different. They were amazed by each other's charm. However, the two of them immediately turned their gazes over and felt awkward about the moment. They both fell silent, feeling like something had changed in their relationship.
The journey home was longer than usual. Their hearts were both filled with strange feelings that were hard to express. When they finally got home, they got out of the car with their hearts still tossed. They walked towards the front door of the house in slow steps, trying to calm the feelings that arose within them.
Arriving at home, Sahara headed straight for the kitchen. He chose the food to cook. Raden helped her put the groceries in the refrigerator. The Sahara began cooking.
“It looks like we forgot to buy telor deh kak,” Sahara told Raden.
“Let me buy it in the mini market in front.”
“Nothing brother, later aja.”
Raden hugged Sahara who was cooking from behind, Sahara slightly jumped from surprise, he could only stay silent.
Riyan whispered in Sahara's ear, "Actually I was jealous of you this morning at another man's temptations, but I wasn't mad at you.”
Raden kissed Sahara's cheek and then passed out. While the shocked Sahara was holding her chest, Sahara felt her heart almost fall out.
Seriate…
