Marrying the Village Virgin

Marrying the Village Virgin
Section 8

A bright morning in the city's residential district, Sahara stepped out of the house in cheerful steps. He carried a garbage bag filled with the hope of welcoming new cleanliness at the beginning of the day. The moment he arrived at the trash tub in front of their house, something unusual caught his attention.

A car was parked right in front of the gate of their house, with the windows tightly shut. Sahara was shocked, never before had anyone parked a car in front of their house like that. Quickly, she called her husband, Raden, who was inside the house.

Raden, immediately looked out the window and was astonished to see the car. He rushed out and approached the Sahara.

“What's up?” Raden asked Sahara who was pointing towards the car.

The driver's door opened, revealing a male figure with a slightly messy look. He is Marcel, followed by three men who are none other than Karel, Devan and Romi. His third face was no less messy like Marcel. Raden could guess that last night they were drunk after coming home from the club.

“You guys can be here?” Raden asked in astonishment.

Marcel, with his hair in disarray and eyes still closed, tried to gather his consciousness to speak, "Raden, we. Where the hell are you going?" Marcel was twitching his forehead which still felt dizzy with narrowed eyes.

Raden looked at them with a mixture of wonder and confusion. How did they find him in this house?

Karel, who was holding a mobile phone with their home address, said listlessly, "We got some info you saw here, so we came here. Where the hell are you assholes? We'll start you tau ga?”

They continued to scold Raden with harsh words that were rarely heard by the Sahara.

Sahara, who had been standing next to Raden, looked at them with slightly frightened eyes. Not to mention the strong smell of alcohol evaporated into his breathing. Messy, Rude, free, that's what the Sahara can value against them. He said the men were too frontal in the words. Sahara begins to find some other side of her husband. Are young people in Jakarta like this?

When Karel, Marcel, Devan, and Romi saw Sahara standing beside Raden, confusion and surprise flashed across their faces. They looked at each other, not believing what they saw. Their hearts are filled with prejudices and false assumptions.

Karel, who was often spontaneous in his comments, finally said what was on his mind, "Eh buset saucy very nih girl, Raden, who is this? Crazy lo ya got playing with minors."

The Sahara felt a silence that filled the air and saw mistrust in their eyes. He felt a wound in his newly formed heart hearing the word, but he understood that they were only worried about Raden.

Raden, in a calm but confident voice, spoke to his friends, "He's Sahara, my wife. He's eighteen, not a minor anymore."

Distrust and confusion began to be read on the faces of Karel, Marcel, Devan, and Romi. They don't know what to think or say. They still did not believe until the Sahara, with an open and understanding heart, said, "Right brother. My wife is brother Raden.”

Devan and Romi nodded in agreement, showing the same expression. “Eh seriously? When did you get married? How urgent is that? Don't tell me about lo hamidun's wife?”

“Asaan anyway lo? Yes no.”

“Wahhh crazy. When did you get married? Fuckers.. you marry me, don't you want us anyway?” karel looks upset.

“Ya is not. We are married well.”

“Well why hurry so much? New feeling two weeks ago we met.”

“The story is long, I males to mgejelasin.”

“We don't believe.”

“Bodo highly.”

“Everything to us let us not be curious.”

Finally Raden relented and explained to his friends that he married the Sahara because he was betrothed. They listened to Raden's words with the condition between believing and disbelief. They seem to have not been able to digest the news well.

“You know the reason? Now you guys are leaving my house. Disturb tau ga?”

“Anjirr, we were instead expelled.”

“Idihh, turn already have bini aja lo now ngusir us. Ga cool lo,” cynical Karel.

The Sahara became a little guilty of Karel's talk. He did not intend to make Raden stay away from his friends. Sahara also took the initiative. “Ga need to go home first, brother. We have breakfast first, I happen to cook a lot.”

Karel who heard that was immediately so enthusiastic. “Wihh, can tuh.”

“Yee...eat free.”

The Sahara invites them to enter the house in a friendly manner. While Raden just followed him with a flat face mixed a little dislike.

“Wash your face first, sis, let seger,” Sahara pushed the bathroom door, and they stopped there.

“Hehe, yes Sahara,” nod them. “Duh, already beautiful understanding again,” Praise karel who has been in the know how many times.

Sahara just smiled back at him. While Karel who immediately got a sharp look and dislike from Raden immediately hurriedly sauntered into the bathroom.

“We wait at the dining table, yes brother,” Sahara and Raden directly headed to the kitchen area which was soon followed by the four young men with a fresh and neat facial condition.

They sat together at the dinner table, creating a warm and full of togetherness. Raden's friends chatted with Sahara, sharing their stories and laughter. They get to know each other better, while Marcel, Karel, Devan, and Romi have no qualms about praising the delicious cuisine presented by the Sahara.

"Wow, Sahara, so good fried rice,”praise devan with a big smile.

Karel nodded in agreement, "Yes again! Beautiful yes, understanding yes, now smart to cook again. How do you want to be with Raden? Because there is a lot of money, right? Gapapa too, so the girl must be materialistic."

Devan directly hit Karel's shoulder, warning him not to speak. Devan could see Sahara's expression instantly change when Karel accused her of marrying Raden for treasure. Yet again, the airy Sahara tries to keep a friendly smile. “Kak Raden is a good man brother. That's why I want to marry him,” Praise Sahara which immediately makes Raden feel so flattered. Is that really the Sahara's assessment of him?

“Idihhh, good from where? Lo belom tau aja Raden originally kayak mana.”

“Can be silent ga lo?” Raden ignited his emotions hearing Karel's speech which he thought was too late and he felt cornered. Why did Karel become so annoying today? Whereas Raden had tried to cover the bad side of the Sahara, but now Karel even want to dismantle it?

Seeing the warming atmosphere, Sahara tried to ease the tension between the men by turning to several other topics. And the result is that the atmosphere that was once hot began as usual.

After breakfast, Raden instructed his friends to wash the dishes as they had been served free breakfast at his house. However, the Sahara gently forbids it. “Ehh, don't do it, let me do it later. Guest told to wash dishes anyway, hehe.”

“Tuh right, but this time I will not muji lo again deh Sahara, later there will be jealous again,” Karel intends to mocked Raden. But Raden only put on a flat and lazy face.

“Yaudah, if you do not want to wash dishes, you go home aja,” Raden said.

“We wanted to go home anyway, but I guess I'll be back again. Hanging out here is cool,” replied Marcel.

“Bang..?” Raden expressed like asking to be understood by Marcel.

“Udahlah, once too. Yes ga?”

“Yoii..”.

Raden could only roll his eyeballs to look at his friends lazily and join them.

Raden's friends have not thought about going home. They feel comfortable and want to spend more time at Raden's house. They sat in the living room, telling each other stories and laughing. They became more familiar with the Sahara. Even the Sahara are getting used to the typical jokes they throw.

After telling jokes and laughter in the living room, Raden's friends finally decided to go home. They thanked the Sahara for its hospitality and the joyous moments they had spent together. Sahara smiled and said goodbye to them warmly.

After Raden's companions returned, Sahara prepared to wash the dirty dishes in the sink. However, Raden suddenly approached her with a sweet smile on his face.

"Saharan?”

“Iya kak?”

“I help ya?" hail Raden with attention.

“Eh, don't take it! Let me alone just” reject Sahara gently for not bothering her husband.

“Udah gapapa, come!” Raden pulled Sahara's hand into the kitchen.

“Kakak sure?”

“Yakin. Eumm...but first I have to say what first?”

Sahara chuckled as she looked at Raden who looked puzzled. “Hehe, sister take a break. Let me just.”

“Engga, I want to help you!”

“Yaudah, if so Brother help arrange the plate into the shelf aja yes,”

“Oke,” Raden directly take position. They wash dishes together.

“Ra?”

“Iya kak?” Answer the Sahara with busy hands soaking up dishes and glasses.

“Eumm..ga be deh,”

“Heuh?” Sahara is confused.

“Hehe, gapapa kok,”

“Kakak sure?

Raden could not hold himself back anymore. In an instant, he stole a gentle kiss from the Sahara. In that moment, time seemed to stop, and the world around them faded into insignificance.

Sahara rounded her eyes, fixated and distrustful of what Raden was doing. He looked at Raden in surprise.

Raden smiled clumsily greeted Sahara with a red face blushing with restraining the shame that enveloped her.

Raden, feeling a heightened nervousness after stealing one kiss on Sahara's lips, immediately let go of the hug and quickly wanted to turn towards the room. His face was met with red, and his steps were unstable due to the feeling of embarrassment that struck. But why should he be ashamed? Isn't kissing her specialty? Previously, he was used to peppering many girls.

Raden's still clumsy,"Sorry, Sahara... I. I'm going to the room first."

Sahara, still stunned in the kitchen, observes Raden's departure with mixed gazes of confusion and worry. She was flattered by her husband's bravery, but also confused by his sudden actions. And this dirty plate isn't finished, Raden didn't help him?
