Ever since the little one developed his own consciousness and was able to speak, his weak and immature voice sometimes resounded within the cave.
Perhaps because he was sealed for too long, the boy was extremely rude and mischievous. At first, as his soul force was weak, he would make a fuss but soon slept afterwards.
But then, as the birth of the child drew closer, he became increasingly curious and intelligent, even bothering Sheng Mei and Lin Ming to tell him about how they met.
From the time Sheng Mei and Lin Ming first met at the final trial of the Asura Road, to their reunion at the Akashic Dream Soul World Realm, retelling part of their story was no problem. But when the boy specifically asked how Sheng Mei and Lin Ming had gathered and how he was , this question actually made Sheng Mei at a loss for words.
Sheng Mei had absolutely no idea how to describe her experience with Lin Ming in the Sky Spill Continent 7000 years ago.
And every time Sheng Mei tried to vaguely describe the incident, the little boy asked Lin Ming instead.
Regarding this, Lin Ming was speechless. He did not understand how his son could speak before he was born but also had so many strange and eccentric thoughts. Could it be that this child inherited a portion of Sheng Mei's memories, or even her own?
Days pass. The little boy finally had the name – Lin Meng, with his childhood nickname being Jiu’er.
The name was chosen by Sheng Mei. ‘Meng’ from Lin Meng is an ancient word for dreams and the word ‘Jiu’ is an ancient word for nine.
He had dreamed of his son in his heart demon dream realm and had also dreamed of Lin Ming's past 7000 years of life.
In a sense, the reason she decided her mind to unseal and give birth to her child was because of her heart demon dreamland.
Since the child will be born from a dream, it is also named after a dream.
As for Jiu’er's childhood nickname, it was because Sheng Mei had experienced nine reincarnations, and the nine lives she lived were nine different dreams.
With this little one quietly adjusting the mood the entire time, the relationship between Lin Ming and Sheng Mei became closer.
Slowly, three years passed in the cave below this killing lake.
Sheng Mei's stomach stood out; soon, the child would be born.
But on this day, as Sheng Mei sat in meditation, she saw a flash of red light from under the cliff. This flash of light gushed out like a thick stream of blood, bringing with it a powerful hellish energy.
Sheng Mei was surprised. He immediately let out his common sense, “Lin Ming, what's up?”
In these past few years he knew that Lin Ming had been studying the help of demons and the ancient bronze coffins under the cliff all this time. As for what he had actually learned, he did not ask her.
If it had been before, then when it came to the extremely mysterious mystic realm that might have been involved with the ancient Demon God from 100 billion years ago, it would have been, he would naturally be curious and wanted to find out the possibility of a secret.
But because of the child growing in his stomach now, Sheng Mei kept a respectful distance from the ancient totem that was filled with dark and evil energy.
However, today's sudden explosion made Sheng Mei's heart gripping. He was afraid that something had happened to Lin Ming.
His body flickered and he arrived near the edge of the cliff. He could see the devil's relief grinning evilly; it seemed that it was where the rich hellish energy came from.
The mouth of the demon favor opened and the ancient bronze coffin in its mouth opened as well!
Sheng Mei focused her eyes and discovered that inside the ancient bronze coffin, there was an even smaller coffin.
If so, then this huge coffin that opened was only ‘the outer coffin of’, and the smaller coffin inside was where the corpse was actually buried.
Looking at the inside of this huge coffin, Sheng Mei frowned.
The inside was filled with thick dark blood. The little coffin looked drenched in bloody water and looked extremely evil, filled with evil damage.
It was as if there was an unrivalled supreme demon sealed within the coffin. A glance at the coffin caused an unpleasant feeling to appear in one's heart.
“Lin Ming ..”
Sheng Mei said with a bit of worry. During these years he had not paid any attention to this ancient bronze coffin at all and he had no idea what Lin Ming had discovered.
“Mama, what's in front of us? It's very evil.. ”.
Jiu’er's voice sounded. Sheng Mei waved her hand and an energy charm appeared in front of her, isolating all the hellish energy released by the devil's help.
Lin Ming did not hide the existence of the Magic Cube from Sheng Mei. Anyway, he's seen it.
However, even though Sheng Mei had a faint guess as to what the Magic Cube was, she actually never took the initiative to ask Lin Ming about it.
With the protection of the force field enchantment blocking the hellish energy, Jiuer felt much better. He quickly changed his position and immediately fell asleep.
Sheng Mei looked at Lin Ming, “Did you activate the coffin?”
Lin Ming nodded. “Iya. In recent years I have studied the help of this demon all along as well as what is in this ancient coffin. I felt that...there was no lucky chance in this cave, and instead it was a very evil and unpleasant place! ”
The Demon God Tomb was not filled with unparalleled lucky chances at every corner. There were many places that were completely and purely death zones. While lucky chances are often accompanied by risk, there are many times when risk is not accompanied by lucky chances. Once a person enters these evil and unpleasant places then they will die in vain.
Like the lake of assassins. Although so many great ravines had entered, the only ones left were Lin Ming and Sheng Mei.
“Is there any danger of opening it?” Sheng Mei asked. He was worried about the child in his stomach.
Lin Ming shook his head, “If I am not mistaken then whatever is in this coffin is lifeless; there will be no great danger.”
Even though he said this, he still took out the Magic Cube and flew in front of Sheng Mei.
The Magic Cube slowly revolved above Sheng Mei's head, covering herself with a layer of black light.
With the Magic Cube protecting Sheng Mei and Jiu’er, Lin Ming felt much more comfortable. He placed his hand on top of the small coffin and slowly pushed.
This ancient little coffin was clearly unsealed. There was a clear gap in the small coffin, and the viscous blood in the large coffin flowed into the smaller coffin through this gap.
Sheng Mei held her heart; she did not know exactly what was in the coffin.
As Lin Ming slowly unfolded the lid, what was revealed within it was also a pool of condensed blood.
The entire small coffin was covered in blood. This blood seemed to have been sealed for countless billions of years. It was completely dark, so thick that it seemed to coagulate into an almost solid substance!
Even one's sense of divinity was unable to pierce through this blood, as if there was a mysterious and evil world hidden beneath it.
As the coffin opened, the blood emitted a dark and terrifying aura, as if countless demon souls and desires were seething within and clawing out, howling in pain the entire time.
Seeing this scene, Lin Ming's complexion was dignified.
Then, he stretched out a hand as if he wanted to pierce through it through a puddle of thick blood.
“Lin Ming! What are you doing!”
Sheng Mei was terrified and she called Lin Ming to stop him. If he were to put his hand into this billion-year-old pool of blood, who knows what would happen? Perhaps this blood might be extremely poisonous and corrosive, or there might even be a very strong curse contained within it.
Lin Ming glanced back at Sheng Mei, trying to calm her down. Then, he firmly grabbed his hand. The surface of Lin Ming's arm was covered with a force field formed by the grandmother's energy and it was pushing the viscous blood.
His hand gently stirred the pool of blood. After an incense stick of time, Lin Ming felt through the blood pond and then slowly withdrew his hand.
As he took out his hand, he also took out something long with him.
This thing was pitch-black and 13 feet long; it was twice the height of Lin Ming.
It resembled a terrifying centipede. From start to finish, this long object was divided into sections and each section had three monstrous bone spikes protruding outwards. Each spike was half a foot long and looked extremely ferocious.
Lin Ming placed it on the ground. This thing was thicker than Sheng Mei's thighs and shone with a metallic luster, even while shining with a cold brilliance.
“This is ..” Sheng Mei felt her heart pounding as she looked at this thing. It's really a nasty and unpleasant object. It contained a bloody hellish energy that was so condensed that it turned into a substantive essence.
“Is this a weapon purified by an unparalleled ancient demon?”
Due to the metallic luster, the icy light, and the thick bloody hellish energy, one could not help but make such a guess.
However, Lin Ming thought for a moment and shook his head. He said, “This is not a weapon but part of a skeleton. To be more accurate, it is the backbone! ”
