Ardan's Restlessness

After meeting the grandmother earlier, Ardan felt uneasy. What did Mary really want to explain to her?

He was currently attending a meeting, but his mind was not focused on this ongoing meeting.

"Young Master Ardan?" call Mr. Park to wake the boss.

Ardan was slightly surprised, he blinked his eyes many times. "I–iya, what's up Mr. Park?"

"Manager Heri is asking you if you agree with his proposal" Mr. Park said.

"Sorry everyone, excuse me to go to the toilet first!" said Ardan as it passed.

Mr.Park realized something was wrong with his boss–. Looking at his unusual facial expression. Could the boss be fighting with his wife?

Ardan had returned from the toilet, apparently the man had washed his face.

"Alright, let's continue the meeting! Sorry, I was a little out of focus" Ardan said as he sat in his chair.

Afternoon has arrived, around 4 o'clock. The employees who work in the DC Group, began scattering the building. Multinasioal company does have employees who are almost hundreds of people. The company also has subsidiaries in various cities in Indonesia, no wonder the DC Group company is very popular, not only in its own country. Its popularity reached overseas. That success made many DC Group competitors want to destroy it.

Ardan is also getting ready to go home soon.

"Lake in!" exclaim Ardan.

Someone who knocked on the room came in, he was Elsa, Ardan's new secretary who had been working there for several months.

"What's up, Elsa?" ardan asked without looking at the woman.

"Do you want to go home, Boss?" ask Elsa.

"Yes of course," answered Ardan briefly.

"Emm.. Look Boss, my car is in the workshop, so I want to intend to hitchhike with the Boss," said Elsa.

"Don't you have any friends in this office?" ask Ardan ketus.

"Of course they have, but they've gone home first"

In the midst of Elsa and Ardan's conversation, Mr. Park enters.

"It just so happened that Mr. Park you came" said Ardan.

"What's wrong, sir?"

"Can you take secretary Elsa to her house! He's not taking the car."

"Oh of course you can, sir."

"Alright, thank you Mr. Park," said Ardan as he passed leaving Elsa whose face looked annoyed.

"But, Ardan" held Ardan's hand.

Then Ardan turned around and said, "Call me 'BOSS'!" After that, Ardan left.

The white man this time did not go home to his apartment, but he wanted to go to the grandmother's house. He was very curious about what the grandmother wanted to explain later.

Arriving at the big house with a white fence, Ardan immediately got down from his luxury car. Ardan's arrival was greeted by Sarti, the butler in the house who was watering the Oma's favorite plant.

"Young Master!" greet the old woman.

"Good afternoon, Bi Sarti" said Ardan.

He approached Sarti who was carrying the hose and kissed the back of the servant's hand.

"Bi Sarti, healthy?" ask Ardan.

"Alhamdulillah, Young Master himself is healthy, right?" sarti asked as he rubbed Ardan's arm.

Sarti really loves Ardan, because from childhood Ardan nurtured by himself. No wonder they were so close, like their own family.

"Thank God, I'm healthy too, Bi. Where's oma?"

"The lady's in the shop, sir. I'll be home soon, too" replied Sarti.

"Then I go in first, Bi!" seraya wants to pass, but is detained by Sarti.

"What's up, Bi Sarti?" ask Ardan.

"Young Master, is it okay?" asked Sarti who felt a little different from her foster child.

Ardan smiled at Sarti. "I'm fine, Bi, just exhausted."

Sarti understood and let Ardan go inside the house.

A few minutes later, Mary arrived. He knew that Ardan was already at his house. The woman went to Ardan's room upstairs. When he was about to enter Ardan's room, it turned out that Ardan had wanted to get out.

"Oma, just came?" asked Ardan who just wanted to get out of his room.

"Follow Oma!" mary exclaimed as she walked towards her private room.

Ardan said, in Mary's room, Ardan sat on the sofa and Maria stepped into the small drawer beside her bed. He took something box-shaped.

Maria approached Ardan who was sitting on the sofa.

"Ardan, Oma knows very well who the woman named Rahmi is," he said as he sat down.

"This box is about your father and also Rahmi" explained Maria as she opened the box.

"This is a picture of Rahmi and Jooniean, your father loved Rahmi very much. But, Rahmi betrayed Jooniean's sincere love, the traitorous woman ran away when the wedding was about to take place" explained Maria.

Ardan gasped, he was silent without a word. Then Maria continued.

"The woman ran off with another man, which embarrassed our family. Opa suffered a heart attack and died. The DC Group company at that time immediately experienced a very drastic decline, even to the point of wanting to go bankrupt" said Maria held back her tears.

"Arini, the woman you married is Rahmi's son, right?"

Ardan gasped. "O–oma, know where?"

Maria smiled with a smile. "Oma knew the seal, even Oma also knew the conspiracy with Mayang."

"Ardan, you were just fooled by Arini. He used you for revenge with our family because his father's company was taken over by our family. They're broke."

Ardan stood up, he did not believe what his grandmother said to him. "Arini couldn't have done that, she didn't know about her family how?"

"You're just fooled by his innocence, Ardan. And all you need to know, Rahmi–lah the cause of your father's death!"

"He told people to give your father a poisonous substance, even the one that bumped into your mother was that traitor!"

Ardan shook his head in disbelief.

"This is evidence, this file shows the results of their crimes." handed them a brown envelope.

But not repulsed by Ardan, he simply left Mary.

"ARDAN! ARDANE!" maria shouted, but was ignored by Ardan.

Maria was angry, but she tried to hold back her anger. He was sure that his grandson would believe all these lies.

After getting an explanation from Maria, Ardan passed away regardless of the grandmother. His heart was a little bit of a dilemma between believing it or not, in order to confirm the words Maria said, Ardan tried to investigate it first.

Now, Ardan is already in his apartment. The man wearing the black turttleneck was standing on the balcony of his apartment with his hands in his pockets. His mind was confused, remembering about the mass of his parents left behind. The man actually felt very lonely since his father and mother were gone. Moreover, the grandmother who always arranged it, made him feel depressed. Ever since he met Arini, the feeling of loneliness was slowly disappearing. Either because they both lost parents or indeed they were destined to meet.

Given Arini, Ardan also tried to take his phone, intending to contact his wife. But there is no word, only the voice of the operator is heard. Ardan ended it.

"Where is he? Why is the phone dead?" Ardan's murmur.

When he wanted to go into the room, suddenly the phone in his hand shook. He soon saw who was contacting him. "It turns out Mr. Park." Ardan lifted it up.

"What's up, Mr. Park?" ask Ardan.

"Sir, I got a video of the person I told to watch over Miss Arini. I've sent the video to your email,"

"Yes, I'll see you later" replied Ardan lazily.

Yes, Ardan did tell Mr. Park to watch over the villa that Arini inhabited through hidden cameras in the villa. The goal is that Ardan can find out who entered the villa other than his man, because the villa is large and there are many valuable items, so to anticipate if there are thieves who enter.

Ardan did not directly check his email–, he first.

At Maria's house, the woman was talking to someone in her study.

"Where's the fucking woman going now?" mary asked a man.

"We're looking for her whereabouts, ma'am," the man replied.

"Women don't know thank you, have threatened me to stay here, and now she's just gone" Maria said.

"There's no need to find that damn woman, at least she's selling herself!" say Maria again.

"Good, Madam"

"You just focus on my grandson, report every action he takes on me!" mary's Commandments.

Slowly but surely, he will trust me and throw the woman away.

Ardan just finished bathing, now he is eating instant noodles while looking at his email– on laptop.

At first he used to see the cctv footage of Arini who was doing his activities. Ardan smiled at Arini's behavior which he thought was funny. But immediately his smile disappeared, when he saw Arini was meeting guests. Ardan knew who someone was, to be sure, Ardan also increased the size of the video recording.

Ardan's heart skipped a beat when he found out that the person in the video was a woman named Mayang, who met him the other day.

Ardan could not hear their conversation, as it was just a cctv video recording. The man guessed what Mayang was doing in his village, and to the man's surprise, Mayang and Arini embraced. They seem very familiar.

"Did you fool me Arini?" ardan asked furiously as he clenched his hand.

The man in the t-shirt violently closed his laptop, the hair that had been neat he was ruffled.

Is it possible that what Oma said is true? Arini just lied to me and made me her tool of revenge?

Ardan rubbed his face rough.

Suddenly the door of Ardan's apartment rang, with lazy Ardan went to open the door.

"Good night, any packages for you?" said one of the package's.

"From?"

"From Lady Maria Ozar,"

"Thank you" replied Ardan.

Then he opened the envelope, it contained a file that Ardan had seen in the grandmother's room.
