Midnight Murder Case (part 1)

Rafsa was very upset because his target house had been bought by someone else, he was currently only able to sigh deeply while sitting on the sofa in his residence. There was no other choice, maybe he did have to go around Sakuta and Mai's school to find a house that he could buy.

Rafsa stared at the digital clock that was stuck on the wall of the room. It was seven o'clock at night, there was no way he would go around Sakuta school at a time like this. He let out a deep sigh again, it turned out that he spent a lot of time on the Overlord server, actually the most draining of that time was his round trip from Baharuth Empire to Re Estize Kingdom.

“Hmm.. Maybe I should go to another server just so as not to be too stressed thinking home,” muttered Rafsa while walking to his room. His hand subconsciously held back his stomach that was hit by Sebas' kick on the Overlord server, but there seemed to be no pain in the slightest that he felt.

“HLF On!” rafsa.

“Out!” keep Rafsa on again.

“Teleportation start!” the sound of the HLF system responding to Rafsa's voice commands.

Rafsa's body is already inside the HLF tube in her residence, but she has no intention of getting out. He first checked his email in case there was a message from Gin about the investigation they failed to do on Overlord's servers. No new emails came in for him.

“Server where ya this time?” muttered Rafsa tried to remember which server the location of his residence was near the residence of one of the anime characters on the server. After the events on Overlord's server he somehow wanted to interact with other anime characters so much, just imagining it felt quite fun.

“Detective Conan!” raffa said again after choosing which server he will visit this time. The Detective Conan server that he chose this time took the background time of season 28 in the anime.

Rafsa's body again disappears from the HLF tube. He is now in the room of his house on Detective Conan's server. His body felt so tired after this day of walking and fighting on the Overlord server. Slowly Rafsa stared at the wall clock in his room which was still showing at seven.

“Hoam.. It looks like today I have to go to bed early so that tomorrow I can move early,” Rafsa muttered while yawning. After turning off her bedroom lights, she begins to lay her body on the bed, hoping that tonight she can have a dream with one of her favorite waifu.

“Aaakkhh..” heard a very loud shout from the neighboring residence of the apartment Rafsa.

“Emmh..” muttered Rafsa who was still yawning, his hand moving rubbed his eyes. The scream he just heard was like a dream.

“Aduh...what time is it,” said Rafsa while sitting on the bed and stretching his muscles.

The sound of a crowd outside the apartment made Rafsa frown. Police car sirens were also heard approaching the apartment building he was staying in. Raffa started walking out of his room and took a glass of drinking water, the sound of the crowd was clearly heard from the apartment of his neighbor.

“Yumi? What really happened?” raffa muttered after his consciousness began to gather, he then went to the toilet to wash his face and looked at the wall clock that showed at 01:16 p.m.

Raffa rushed out of his apartment. It was seen that the crowd of people had crowded the apartment floor to the front door of his apartment. Next to her apartment is an apartment that is occupied by Yumi Miyamoto who is a traffic cop.

“It seems that the commotion is not from Yumi's apartment, but the apartment next door,” muttered Rafsa while looking at the crowd of people who crowded the road. During this time the neighbor who often greeted him was only Yumi because he also rarely interacted with others, so he somewhat forgot who lived in the apartment at the very end of it.

“If it is not wrong I last went to this server two weeks ago,” Inner Rafsa while remembering again the owner of the apartment next to Yumi, who is, he remembered that it was not wrong that the owner was a newly married couple.

“Please do not block the way, let the police take care of the case. You can rest in peace,” said Chiba who tried to disperse the crowd at the place.

When the crowd had dispersed, Rafsa immediately walked towards some police who were in front of the open apartment door. At first glance he also sees there Takagi, Sato and Megure Inspector. At a glance Rafsa can already suspect that in the apartment there is a murder case.

“Eh? What happened in this place?” asked Rafsa, who was blocked by the police while trying to approach the apartment door.

But just as Rafsa asked, Takagi was seen rushing out of the apartment and passing right in front of Rafsa. Takagi is seen rushing to the stairs of the apartment, before long several police forensic teams come out of the apartment carrying some evidence to be examined.

“In the case of murder, you should immediately return to the master's room,” replied the police who blocked Rafsa kindly.

“Alright,” replied Rafsa who could only resign, she turned her body again to return to her apartment.

“That's him. Raf-san,” when he just arrived in front of Yumi's apartment, Yumi's voice called out her name.

“Eh?” raffa muttered while turning back to the back. Yumi waved her right hand, next to her was Sato Miwako. And even more surprising next to him is the main character on this server, Edogawa Conan.

“Conan? Impossible, only this time I saw it directly,” muttered Rafsa who without feeling immediately smiled himself and walked back to the last apartment. But a little boy also came out of the apartment and approached Conan.

“The kid? it feels like I have never seen him in the anime,” Inner Rafsa while staring at the boy who was chatting with Conan, the boy immediately returned to the apartment after talking to Conan.

“Ah Yumi-san, what happened?” ask Rafsa.

“The man who lived in this apartment was killed,” replied Yumi.

“Sorry.. I heard that you live next to Yumi's apartment?” sato asked with a sharp look at Raffa, as did Conan who had been watching his movements since.

“Eh, yes. I just stayed in this apartment three months ago,” replied Rafsa, he suspected that Sato and Conan suspected him of murder. Because most murder suspects are usually people who are close to the victim.

“Then now his wife where?” ask Raffa to Yumi.

“Oh, the apartment has changed ownership. Just a week ago he stayed here, by the way this week I have never seen you,” Yumi said.

“Oh, I'm doing research for my novel. You must know, so this week I went abroad,” replied Rafsa who tried to remain calm so as not to be suspected.

“He.. big brother of a novel writer huh? What genre of novels did you write?” ask Conan.

“Eh? Well assortment, action, fantasy, horror, mystery and so on. Who is this kid, by the way?” raffa asked pretending not to know.

“Oh he is the Conan I used to talk about,” replied Yumi.

“Oh Conan-kun yes. He is very similar to Shinichi,” said Rafsa while kneeling and rubbing Conan's head while smiling, the look on Conan's face looked shocked. He may be confused as to why the man before him knew about Shinichi when it felt like he had just met him this time.

“Yah it is a bit similar. Oh yes Rafsa-kun, can I ask you a few things?” sato asked as he pulled out his notebook, it was certain that Rafsa's close neighbor would also be suspected by the police.

“Yes, I don't mind,” replied Rafsa with a smile, while Conan seemed to keep looking at her sharply.
