A loud humming sound shook the creature's head, making it stop sculpting right before it reached its prey.

his body cannot be moved as it wants.

when he tried to forcefully move with all his might, suddenly a strange feeling came from the person before him.

"calm down, I'm not your enemy" Rei said as he stroked the creature that reached 7 meters in height, finally the creature looked calm now.

Previously Rei used magic to stop the movement, then continued with a friendly aura.

Based on the information he received the creature was dubbed as the lion of darkness, he had two pairs of wings on his back however, there was something that made Rei interested, which was why, it was his tail because there was a purple flame burning at the end.

"i didn't think the creature I first encountered was a walking disaster" Rei revealed.

"Hmm.this is blood?"

he realized that his hand was full of blood from touching the lion.

Rei saw that the lion's body was covered with wounds, and the worst part was that the left side of the face near his eyes contained wounds that froze like ice, fighting is common in the wild.

the lion, its huge body had suddenly fallen like a fainted person, before it became unconscious it looked like it was shedding tears, it made Rei a little surprised.

"what, a creature like you can cry?" Rei's getting new information.

Due to his dying state Rei quickly dripped a drop of blood from his index finger onto the body of the lion.

after 5 seconds had passed finally the wound on the body of the dark lion began to regenerate quickly.

The magic that Rei used was one of [Blood Magic], this allowed his user to create a fairly strong connection or bond between him and his target, on condition that the target must be in its weakest state or if the target is indeed willing to accept Blood Magic.

thanks to that relationship the dark lion gets a regeneration buff, while Rei has access to his memories.

".....the gate?" Rei looked at the gate hidden among the clouds in the sky.

A roar that shook the land coupled with a burst of purplish black fire breathing exploded in the air.

"HOMIMMM!!!!"

it was enough to make a hill flat with the ground.

even though the lion had great destructive power in its hands but fighting the absurd number of Monsters made it a little unfair.

Not even a few among the Monsters there are those who have a body size of 2 times that of their brothers, and their greatest leaders have a unique ability to breathe that makes everything in their path freeze.

Long story short the war was finally won by the lion of darkness.

A long and loud roar resounded in the sky, the lion was like wanting to show that he was the strongest and the number was not a problem for him.

The reason the lion was fighting was to protect the territory and its cubs.

when he found out that the lion had a child Rei tried to focus his senses more deeply and after that he felt there were 3 small creatures in the cave.

There was a small growl, the dark lion finally came to his senses and forced himself to get up even though he was still physically exhausted.

he looked at Rei warily but since the blood magic made him non-aggressive, the dark lion felt a strange feeling like he and Rei had a bond, a bond that was very difficult to explain.

Rei simply smiled at his funny behavior and said"you seem to have recovered so paid off, then I'll leave first".

Rei waved his hand then walked away, for a moment the lion remained silent but as Rei got further away the big cat felt a hint of the strange turmoil that was within him but he tried to hold it back with all his might, strangely, he ran back into the cave.

"i was hoping to get a partner, but the relationship between mother and child seemed much stronger as it turned out" disappointed, Rei then jumped flying at supersonic speed to the southeast.

Rei went towards the southeast direction because based on what he saw in the memories of the dark lion before, the lion had once been close to a human settlement and was currently heading there.

After 50 minutes of travel Rei finally saw a small beam of light in the distance, then a city was seen and he decided to land at a place 7 km from there and try to run.

Fortunately, the sharp vision it has is really useful to see something far away at night.

While being close to the city of Rei slowed down his running pace and started walking, there he saw many people who seemed to be lining up to enter the city.

when about to join the people who were there Rei saw his appearance first and realized that his clothes were not suitable
