CHAPTERS. 14

"Where's meira anyway...?" Ami looks very worried about Meira, because usually Meira has been sitting sweet in her class even before the students on arrival.

"Maybe Meira's late today." said Sany trying to calm her friend Ami.

"I'm afraid that Meira is straying again!" Several times Meira was once stray, either to another department building or even a ride to a different toilet on the campus floor.

"No way, Meira's not a kid anymore. Strange time many times." Answer Mita.

"Yes Mi, he can find his own way!" timpal Sany who flipped through his dictate book.

"You don't understand, Meira is different." said Ami. "And it's because of my fault!" Ami looks sad, considering the events of 3 years ago.

"Different how? Because of Meira's childish nature?" ask Sany. "What does this have to do with you? did you spoil Meira until she was like that?" Sany does not understand why Ami feels guilty. So did Mita who just nodded her head. During this time Ami never told me about the accident that hit Meira 3 years ago.

"It's my fault, because I caused Meira the accident." honestly Ami, "When we were in Meira High School, she was a bright student in our class, she always got first place. Meira also has a fairly mature nature. But in second grade High School, Meira's accident almost died." And Ami's memory switched three years ago.

Flashbacks :

Students of One Nation High School seemed to flock towards exiting the school. There are walking casually, joking with each other, running around and some are still sitting in the park. Also seen are parents or families who pick up their children. Naturally, it is time for High School children to go home from school.

"Ra.. there's someone waiting for you to get in front of the school gate!" Nisa one of Meira and Ami's classmates suddenly approached the two of them who were sitting around waiting for an invitation.

"Who?" ask Meira curiously.

"Look at yourself, you must be shocked!" he replied with a seductive smile and just passed by.

"Who is Mi..? Ask again, this time the question is directed to his friend Ami. While Ami just spread his shoulders a sign of not knowing.

"From curiosity, mending we meet aja." proposed Ami. Her full name is Aminara Daniah but everyone calls her Ami.

Finally Meira accompanied by her best friend Ami to the place that Nisa told earlier. In front of the school gate. But when Meira heads to the place, it appears that a group of boys she knows are her upperclassmen. Meira only knows one person, Reno Nigara. It's been this month that they are close, not just the two of them, but the three of them are Meira, Ami and Reno. But their closeness is only as friends.

"Meira...?" Call Reno smiling and approach her with pink flowers and balloons. Makes Meira surprised and uncomfortable with her feelings.

"You know I'll graduate soon? I don't want to regret it later, so there's something I want to say to you."

Reno's view was on Meira. "I've always liked you." As she expected, Meira looked at the sad-looking Ami mixed with anger. All this time Meira only considers Reno as a friend no more, especially after she knows the feelings of Ami who likes Reno. No, Meira does not want her friendship destroyed because of this guy in front of her.

"Meira do you want to be my girlfriend?" Reno asked and the screams of her friends Reno filled the atmosphere in that place.

"Ami wait...!" Meira who saw Ami leave just like that, did not care about the question of the upperclassman in front of her. "Sorry, I can't!" without seeing Reno's reaction, Meira immediately chased her best friend out of school.

"Ami wait..I don't have any feelings for Reno" explained Meira who was still chasing Ami who continued to walk in front of her.

"I don't blame you, I just need some alone time." Ami replied that he continued walking, but when he wanted to cross without looking left and right, there was a car that drove fast.

"Awas... bruuk..." Accidents are inevitable. A girl was dragged far away with blood on her head, arms and legs lying unconscious again.

"Meira... Meira...? Please.. please. bring my friend to the hospital." cried Ami who kept screaming for help at the people around him including Reno who just caught up with him. Fortunately, someone kind enough to take them to the hospital.

"Meira... I'm sorry, sorry I'm Meira." Ami continued to cry apologizing, if he had not done such a fool Meira would not have been anything now. He remembered that when he was about to cross there was a car that almost hit him, but suddenly there was a hand that pulled him fast until he was pulled back and fell, but it turned out that the one who pulled him was Meira. It happened so quickly as if Meira was the one who replaced his position to be hit.

Meira was taken to the ICU room, fortunately still had time and was saved. His family was very sad, especially his sister, whom Ami knew they were very close. Meira went through a critical period, several times she almost lost her life but luckily the doctor was able to save her back. But Meira fell into a coma, almost a month he just lay with tools that filled his body. The doctor had initially given up even if Meira could regain consciousness it was likely that she would not be as normal as she had been. Even his parents had to sell the estate of his grandfather Meira and live in a smaller house for hospital expenses. But it doesn't matter to them Meira is more important, all they have to do is keep praying and trying the rest let God set the final line.

After a month of coma, Meira finally opened her eyes as well. The doctor who had given up finally had to admit that the miracle was indeed there. As the doctor predicted. Meira won't be back as she was. Luckily, Meira was not mentally disabled or physically disabled. He only returned like a child, and his brain abilities were slightly reduced, as well as a broken hand. Even so some things he still remembered. It took me a year to get meira into therapy. Inevitably forced Meira had to stop her school first during therapy. And resuming package c when Meira's state began to improve even though it was not perfect. Even Ami postponed her college to be able to go to college with Meira to take care of her. It's to treat his guilt.

"Therefore I tried to keep Meira, though not 24 hours." and when Ami saw Zaden the head of the ZACKS gang in his class talking to Meira that morning, he accidentally does not enter because he sees Zaden treating Meira well so that his worry is gone. He's sure Zaden won't hurt Meira. If that happens, though she's afraid she'll help Meira anyway.

"Meira..." Call Ami who sees Meira just entering the class with a happy face.

"Where are you going anyway? From earlier we are looking for, fortunately the lecturer has not come." Looks like Ami is worried about Meira. I'm afraid Meira's straying again.

"Yes, we've even been looking under the table, under the chair, in the bottle as well" Mita joked.

"Yee, what's Meira jin's bottle?" reply Sany.

"Hehee.. joking San, this is running out of children to keep saying lately." said Mita who is curious, usually Meira always intilin them. Where there's Meira there they are. Where they are, there is Meira.

"Meira.pardon us." Sany and Mita hug Meira simultaneously, all this time they like to scold Meira for her ingrained keoon'annya. But now they're going to take it, but they don't promise not to scold Meira if Meira's level off.

"Sansan and Mimit what's wrong?" Meira looked confused and looked towards Ami whose eyes looked reddened. "Damn... Sansan and Mimit must have disturbed Mimi, Meira Aduin and Aunt Chacaca yaa!" meira's bully in a ruffled pose to her waist. Aunt Chaca is a mama Ami who is a little chatty, like Meira who does not have a brake to stop talking, equally dizzy.

"MAYIRA...!" yelled the two of them who were upset again, for being accused of making Ami cry. While Ami just laughed at their silliness.
