Chapter 9

"Where are you going?" Elliot sees AJ getting ready to go out. "I want to meet my friends" Elliot just endured the patient sight of his stubborn son. AJ often goes out with his friends until he gets home late at night. AJ also never went home because he preferred to be with his friends rather than with his family. For AJ the family never took to knowing about his life as if he never existed in that house. "Oh yeah, tonight maybe I'm not going home, so don't bother calling me ok, bye" AJ started his car and kept driving out of the mansion.

"Hey, AJ if you want to change" Elliot said as he stomped his eel.

"Pa, add my credit card limit, tomorrow I'll go on vacation with friends" a man his age in AJ's neighborhood approached Elliot.

"Alex, isn't there enough money I give you every month?" Elliot simply endured his children's behavior.

"Papa, as I was talking about earlier I was going on vacation with my friends" Alex stomped his feet and left Elliot alone on the stairs.

"Hfuuuh, it seems like they are too spoiled by me" Elliot said as he exhaled heavily.

"Lay, early in the morning like this what are you doing here?" Riri's mother surprises Layla's daydreams who is sitting around relaxing in the park at the Orphanage.

"I just miss this park, when I was a kid I used to play here with my mom." Layla smiled, recalling her memories with her mother Luna.

The flashback

"Layla, don't run, baby don't you fall" Luna chases her young son.

"Mom can't catch up to me, hahaha" the little boy was still running away from his mother who else if not Layla who was a little girl.

"Ouchh, mother" the little boy fell down and cried to his mother.

"Honey you've lost don't run," Luna rubbed her child's head affectionately

"Yes, baby, don't cry anymore ngak beautiful later mother's son" Luna tried to entertain Layla.

"You promised your mother that you couldn't cry because of something as trivial as this you have to be strong darling, so that no one would bully you" Luna hugged her son so that Layla would stop crying.

"Well mother, I won't cry for things like this, I'll be a strong child in the future" layla said excitedly as she stood up and her chin looked up in the sky like a hero.

"Well, baby, let's go in. Mom will treat your wound" Luna took Layla's hand.

"Ok mom," Layla just according to her mother's words. Because Layla only gets love from her mother.

Flashback off

Layla smiled remembering those memories, but she also had to let her mother go and leave her for good. Riri's mother who saw Layla's tears come out could only be speechless.

"Here you are, your mother must be sad that Layla's son is crying because of her, your mother would want to see you happy here, your mother would want the best for her child" said Riri's mother tried to calm Layla down. Layla just agreed with Riri's mother's words.
