Ep. 10 After Crime 1: A Plan

After inserting a black bag made of synthetic leather large enough into the trunk of the car. R slammed the trunk door of his black car tight enough to sound like a loud slam.

"I'll take care of the rest" said R gesturing with a head motion toward the car.

Nana nodded in understanding, it was indeed R's duty to do the 'Clean-clean' job after the execution they did.

"You better be right back. The person working with you will definitely come back to check on Arai. You know what to do, don't you?"

Nana nodded back. Nana felt a little tired, her head started to throb pain. He immediately pressed his head with both hands.

R who realized that Nana's condition was not looking well immediately pulled something out of his pants pocket.

"You okay? Do I need to call TRI?"

R pulls Nana's hand, then pushes out all the clothes covering Nana's arm.

However Nana immediately stopped R, she immediately covered part of his arm, "I brought my own. Don't use yours. If I start to react, you'll soon, R."

R scrunched his forehead. He grasped the object tightly after Nana refused to use it. Not because it was important to him. Why should I depend on this thing?

"I'll go first. The sun will rise in an hour." said Nana look at the watch she was wearing.

"Haa...Be careful. If anything happens call us."

R and Nana eventually split up. They use different cars. Their execution today went according to plan.

Nana had been planning Arai's kidnapping since a month ago. When confirmed Arai will be released to coincide with the day the discovery of children who died mysteriously.

Before Arai's execution, at different times, they also did the same to a similar criminal but the police have not been able to arrest him, and now, forever the fugitive will be an immortal fugitive that no police will find

Coinciding with that day, of course, was just a coincidence. However, for Nana that day was a day she could not forget, and retaliated against an offender who was involved in the incident the day they launched the action. Just like presenting the best gifts to the children who died.

Nana who is a Senior co-worker since she joined the division. It is easy for him to be selected for Arai's ex-convict escort, if his Senior is the one who believes in this task.

Nana planned to make Senior's reputation better in these weeks in order for Senior to be glimpsed by the division chairman to give him the assignment.

With a bit of a nod to Senior's past that once captured Arai's then and a good record of work behavior. Nana's talks with the division chairman went smoothly. And as per the plan Senior gained the trust of this task.

When escorting Arai to a predetermined location. Suddenly there was an accident at the intersection of the red light they went through.

The accident WAS CERTAINLY not a coincidence but a plan that had been prepared. With the aim to paralyze Arai's movements. If lucky the accident can kill Arai on the spot.

Nana is assisted by R as the actor who drove the sedan car that crashed itself into Nana's car carrying Arai. They do the show like a real accident.

Nana pretends to be taking emergency action against the accident victim. Nana tries to be as natural as possible to do her charade and not let Senior cope with the victims of this accident.

Fortunately Senior did not suspect the least about the condition of this driver. Nana purposely had Senior take care of Arai's condition so that her attention would not turn to them and just focus on her task.

R who is the victim will be replaced by the host who has been prepared R to bear all the consequences of the accident that occurred. Somehow R told the hostess not to dispute his peritnahan. All R's faults in the accident will fall on him.

After they perform the player's treatment, Nana makes a false testimony for the accident victim who has actually been replaced.

TRI, who hit Arai with a shot, injected an anesthetic that would react a few minutes later after being injected from a syringe that he hid in his bag.

Because of Arai's condition after the accident, the pain of this syringe will be disguised by pain that is more pronounced on his arm. Arai was unaware of that.

When Arai returns, he is completely unaware of Nana's whereabouts in his room.

Nana's status as a police officer also allows her to freely pass by the place without suspicion. Moreover, the place is quite quiet and the surrounding security cameras have been eradicated by META which is in charge of eliminating the traces of Nana and others.

When Arai begins to become unconscious due to the previously injected anaesthetic. Nana along with TRI who was at the location brought Arai with a car driven by R to go somewhere.

The execution began that night. Until they get what they want. TRI did not come with Nana and the others because he had other duties in the Arai apartment.

Senior kicked the door of Arai's apartment room in annoyance. He could not help his emotions as he looked at Arai's empty, uninhabited room. His luggage does not exist either.

"Basic fucking it!!" Senior can't bear to not curse.

He did not expect Arai to run away from this place. If he knew this would happen, from the very beginning Senior would continue to watch over him in order not to act as arbitrarily as this.

This was his pure negligence as an officer.

"He's running away." Senior growled dissatisfied to vent his frustration.

Senior is very upset, but he just got someone who might know the events behind the children's deaths. But, it disappeared.

"Calm Senior. Basically, Arai's status was no longer a prisoner. He was declared unconditional free, of course He will go wherever he wants."

Nana's words were indeed true, Yet Senior still couldn't let Arai off just like that.

"What's weird enough is this job." Nana added, "Why should we control a person like Arai? Wouldn't it be weird if it was just the reason for the day's security?"

Nana's words were also true. The senior was initially also suspicious and questioned this assigned task. But after learning that Arai had stored an information, Senior had actually thought in that direction. And Arai's disappearance may have been due to such information.

"Did no witness see it? What about cctv? Or people around?"

Nana shakes her head."No, CCTV also showed him leaving with his bag. No one knows where he went. The surrounding neighbors had yet to realize Arai's whereabouts in their place, so they didn't see it either."

"Aargha! Really thickening." Senior ruffled his hair in annoyance, "We're back at the office."

Senior finally gave up and left the apartment. So upset Senior left the location with the apartment room door still open just like that.

"Bright Senior." Soon Nana stood up straight again when she answered him.

Nana would then hastily close the door of the apartment, upon seeing the room space inside the dark and empty apartment. Nana smile.

He could not stop the smile on his face and slowly closed the door. Then lock the apartment room and chase Senior who has gone down the stairs to the bottom.

"Senior let me drive..!"[ ]
