They arrived at an old two-story apartment that looks worn and gloomy because the paint on the walls of the building looks dull, impressed that the building has not been renovated for a long time.
Areas that are quiet and far from the urban hustle and bustle, although their location still includes the capital, but this location is on the outskirts of a minimal population.
This location was chosen to avoid people who were angry with Arai, especially the area that was once the scene of the crime where Arai staged the action.
"You chose this place as the safest place? Don't joke..You cops are short on income?" Arai was disappointed, he thought the place that would be his shelter would be nicer and decent.
"There is no safe place in this world. Especially for a human like you. Don't do much shit."
Senior opened the door of a room that would become a temporary residence of Arai. Senior gestured through the gaze and head movements for Arai to immediately enter the room.
"Is there a family you want to call?"
Arai showed a cold face as if he did not care if he had a family or not. It's possible that his family has been dumping Arai since the first case.
"I assume there is none. It's better because your existence can attract the public, stay here until the condition calms down."
Senior took out the phone from inside the black suit he was wearing. He intends to contact someone. This item was the only item Senior had brought after the accident. Wallets, bags and coats he did not have time to take because of circumstances that are not conducive to worrying about his personal belongings.
"I'll come back. Until I get back, don't mess around to get people's attention." Senior emphasized his words to Arai in order to understand the situation.
"You ain't nobody around here? What if something like that happened to me?"
Senior is upset to hear Arai's selfless babble. It is as if it does not reflect who he is in the eyes of society.
"How about you call your girlfriend? Looks like she's a strong woman to keep up all night here." Arai said it with a lustful look.
Senior hit the apartment room door hard. He forgot that this apartment also contains people who live in other rooms because of his anger. His patience is over now. Senior's eye gaze turned sharp and intimidating.
"I'll kill you if it comes to me the slightest bit about my partner in your head."
Arai was quite happy to be able to provoke Senior, but he also felt fear if Senior's remarks really happened to him.
Senior's phone suddenly sounded. Immediately he picked it up after checking the name of the incoming caller briefly.
"Nana! What about that driver?! Have you questioned him?!"
<"Y-yes, Senior. I checked him after he regained consciousness. Sorry..had something happened?"> asks Nana surprised by Senior's snapping voice from her phone.
Nana thinks that she has made a mistake because she did not contact him for a long time to submit the report she got.
Senior scratched his head with a feeling of guilt. He did not mean to yell at Nana, only that she was carried away with emotion because of Arai.
"Nothing happened. You can continue." Senior tries to be more calm.
Senior received a message from Nana that the driver involved at the time of the accident had regained consciousness and would contact Senior again after he had finished interrogating the driver to convey the information he had obtained.
<"The man who was driving the black car during the accident proved negligent, he wrongly stepped on the brake with the gas pedal which made him lose control because of the speed of the car that drove suddenly. According to his account, he was sleepy while driving. For the condition of whether he consumes something is still in check.">
"You're sure he's telling the truth? He doesn't know if Arai's in the car?"
<"I've made sure of it myself. There was no motive in this accident. He himself did not know who Arai was other than hearing his name on TV. Senior can re-interrogate if something is still stuck.">
"No, that's not necessary. I believe in you. Let the traffic section check it further."
<"Good, Senior.">
"You're lucky to be alive now." Senior was still annoyed whenever he saw Arai's face.
"Officer, may I ask you something?"
Senior did not reply, but it seemed that he allowed Arai to ask him.
"Who asked you to escort me here?"
Senior didn't quite understand why Arai suddenly asked that.
"I can't answer that question."
Senior gets a warrant from the head of his division and it is likely that if Senior can guess who ordered him is the police chief. Because he suggested this location to take Arai away during the meeting before the execution of the task.
"Haha...You are obedient dogs." said Arai laughing blandly.
Senior was tired of arguing with him. The task of delivering Arai to the destination location has been completed. There was already no longer any reason for Senior to linger with this person. He still has a more important job than taking care of someone like Arai.

Night has arrived, the moon is trying to show itself with the beauty of the white light that surrounds it. However, the gray clouds keep trying to block the beautiful light. It was as if beauty was not needed by a sinful earth.
Arai who was starving could not hold his tummy back until the police officer returned. He did not care if the officer came back or not. Freedom is the most important thing for him now.
Arai comes out of his hiding place to find food. It turned out that this place was not bad either because no one cared about each other as neighbors. No one bothered him by asking who he was, where and when he moved.
"Cih..they paid me for 8 years too small, this money alone is not enough to buy whisky. Do they think prisoners are their slaves, huh?!" lamented Arai is irritated by the detention house system that employs prisoners to earn extra income that they can use when they come out later.
Arai took out one cigarette he had just bought. It turns on with a new automatic batter as well. He sucked deeply into the smoke on the cigarette until the bitter taste entered his mouth. Then he breathed out with the wisdom of the smoke that came out, enjoying every sensation that entered the body until his mind felt lighter.
This is real freedom. He feels he can live longer by just smoking cigarettes with pleasure.
"What am I going to do now yaa~" Arai made a humming tone as she said it.
The more the night this place gets quieter and quieter. Only the sound of tree branches swaying by the wind was heard around Arai. The sound of dog howling from ignorance makes the atmosphere even more creepy. It was as if his shadow could eat him alive.
Just now Arai thought this place was the best place for him. But somehow his feelings suddenly became unpleasant.
Early exit from the apartment Arai did not feel this wary. After from the nearest minimarket is still not as scary as this. But now he felt scared and immediately wanted to go back to the apartment room and lock himself up.
Arai heard the sound of footsteps approaching towards him. He wondered if he should look back or not.
His heart started to beat. His current condition made it impossible to defend himself in case something happened.
The feeling of being watched made him even more panicked. The surroundings were dark enough for him to find out if there was someone around him.
Trusting that person is a mistake. Arai flipped his body back, he dared himself to fight if it was true that someone was watching him. But it did not seem that one person was behind it.
The existence of a person is still very pronounced and approaching. But where is it? [ ]
