13. Bryan's Retaliation.
After enjoying the beauty of the sunset on the beach, they decided to go home, because Aruna had difficulty finding a taxi finally hitchhiking with August and Aira.
"Hey.is none of you sitting next to me?" ask August.
"no." Aira and Aruna answered in unison.
"this time I'm your driver." .
"all right, Miss Aira and Miss Aruna, we're leaving" said August, turning on the car's engine.
Aira and Aruna just smiled amusedly.
"Hey Miss Aruna, why don't you drive Rafael's car? doesn't he have a lot of cars?" tanya August is still acting as a driver.
Aruna was amused.he was called miss by August.It is ironic that never crossed the mind of the cold-blooded killer woman held back the hard-earned laughter of the person she once wanted to kill.
"all the cars in that place have GPS, I want to be free" replied Aruna flatly.
"Aruna, are you really Rafael's cousin? ask Aira.
before Aruna answered, August cut him off.
"oh does Miss Aira like Rafael" asked August mocked.
Aira glanced at August for a moment.
"Hey Aruna you don't tell Rafael I'm dating August, I don't want your cousin to complain to someone, I don't want to kill that big-breasted woman" Aira glanced at August.
"Miss Aira do you want me to crash this car into a big tree up there?" August says.
the three of them laughed.
after a long time I knew Aira. August finds Aira's personality very pleasing.
while for Aruna, he felt a warmth that he had never felt before, he did not even know when the last time he laughed like today.
The road they passed was very quiet.Right left was just a small forest and a thicket. August reduced his car's speed when he saw two mini vans in front of him suddenly stop and close the road for him.
August stopped his car. Aira and Aruna glanced at each other in alarm.
about ten people got down from the two mini vans and began to surround the three of them.
"OUT ALL..!" snaps a man holding a baseball bat.
August tries to calm down, he gets out of the car followed by Aira and Aruna.
actually Aira is very easy to beat them all, but he refrains Aruna also thinks the same, they want to know, who and what these people want.
"Haha.."
there was a laugh from one of the mini-van.a car door opened.a man stepped out.
"Bryan" August and Aira in unison.
"what do you mean, stop us." asked August.
"didn't I tell you this isn't over yet.!" Bryan.
Bryan walked up to August and kicked him to August's chest. August bounced off his chest feeling tight.
BUKK. ahhhh..
Aira wanted to act immediately, but Aruna held her back.
"Calm down, watch the aura change." Aruna whispered.
Aira stared intently at August, she faintly felt a pulse of energy flowing through August's body.
August rubbed his tight chest, the pain slowly disappeared and he got up. Bryan was actually surprised that August could recover so quickly, but he covered his shock well.
"Bryan's your business with me, let them go" August said.
"you don't have to worry, we'll let them go, once we've had some fun" Bryan said.
bryan said in another laugh. Aira desperately wants to kill Bryan, but Aruna always holds him back.
Bryan punched August in the face and stomach many times. August only protected himself with both hands. August only receives punches and kicks not because he does not want to fight, August is worried they will hurt Aira and Aruna.
every time he fell down, August always tried to get up. as if he was immune to blows.
"Stop it. You're all cowards..!" shout Aira.
Blood came out of August's nose and temples drenched his white shirt.
"You guys.. shut the lady up***** that's" Bryan said pointing towards Aira and Aruna.
Some of them immediately smothered the neck and mouth of Aira and Aruna.
The two women remained calm.
Bryan still continues to punch and kick August, he felt surprised August could always rise despite the pain.
"Take them off" said August.
Aira and Aruna realized this, especially Aira, he now saw with his own eyes the power hiding in August's body finally rose.
"is that all you're capable of?" august tried to stand with his head down.
suddenly the remark made the people around him stunned.how could he survive receiving punches and kicks repeatedly from people bigger than him, black belt holders, national champions?
For August himself, actually he was not strong, when he fell down his consciousness almost disappeared he felt a warm feeling all over his body, neutralizing the pain.
"Nando give me your wand" Bryan said.
Nando throws a baseball bat at Bryan. Bryan catches him and swings toward August's head.
August who was still downcast felt a chill around his nape.
this feeling is like that time. August felt deja vu, he remembered the incident in the park.
He saw the raindrops as if they were floating. The splashes of rain falling onto the ground bounced off in a slow motion effect.
this happened again, inner August said, he raised his face.he saw Bryan swinging a baseball bat towards his head in a super slow motion.
He catches the baseball bat and pulls it from Bryan's hand like pulling a cotton swab. It looks like a small ripple effect that makes Bryan's hand vibrate.
after grabbing the stick he swung towards Bryan's left leg, suddenly made both legs raised to the right side, his body fell to the left but did not fall August and then kicked Bryan's stomach.
Simultaneously things became normal again. Bryan slammed into the door of the mini van behind him.
Brakk.. Prangs..
no one knew what had happened except Aira and Aruna.
simultaneously, Aira and Aruna elbowed the stomach of the person who smothered him, then punched the faces of the two people who immediately made him slam and unconscious.
Nando was surprised to see Bryan had been seriously injured and two other colleagues, the rapid turn of events made him have to make a decision. he chose to help Bryan before it was too late.
"Everyone's back, I'm gonna take Bryan to the hospital, the others tell Jacky, let him take care of the son of a bitch" Nando said. several other people immediately lifted two of his colleagues into their car.
they left August, Aira and Aruna.
August walks back to the car, but suddenly he loses power before falling down Aruna catches August first. August falls in Aruna's arms.
"are you all right" asked August, staring at Aruna.
"we should have asked, not you, we're fine" Aira said.
Aruna says nothing, his heart is touched, he knows he can finish Bryan and the others just by snapping his finger, but August the man he wants to kill is in his arms trying to protect him as best he can. Aruna felt a warm tremor in her heart that had been frozen all along. Aruna doesn't know what happened to her, she can't explain.
"quickly get out of here" Aira said.
Aruna pulled the tired August into the back of the car.
"we're going to the hospital" Aira said.
"no. just drop me a blue lake mountain, I promise to see Julia when I get back" August said.
"with you being like this? are you out of your mind?" said Aira.
"you're going to make that woman panic" Aira said again.
"I'll explain" said August.
"it's up to you" Aira said with a slight annoyance.
August pulls the phone out of his pocket and sends some text messages to Julia, tiredness finally makes her eyes closed. Aira focused on driving her car, while Aruna continued to look at August through the reflection of the inner rearview mirror.
There was no conversation between the three of them.
