42. Victory Ends Grief.
The loud explosion made the ground shake, dust and smoke flew.Slowly the dust and smoke disappeared as a dome of golden light appeared.
"you're a stupid woman, why do you come here, why do you always make me so hard?"
Julia opened her eyes, she was surprised her eyes were glassy.
"A. a.. Augustus.." Julia immediately hugged him, her tears breaking.
"forgive me. I concluded too quickly.I.."
The words came to a halt when August ***** his lips. A warm feeling resurfaced, Julia could not help but shake the emotions in her chest. A few moments ago she saw August killed, she said, he was on the brink of death, and now the man he thought was gone returned and protected him.
"August don't leave me. I'm sorry.." Julia with her sobs.
"we'll talk later, whatever happens don't get out of this dome."
Julia nodded, August wiped Julia's tears and then kissed her forehead.he then walked out the dome. now he stared hard at Gorran.
Gorran widens his eyes to see August reappear before him.Even Carrol, Lyra and others except Clara are very surprised.
"you. I've killed you.."
"if you've killed me then where's my body?"pqpp
Gorran and others saw the direction where he had previously thrown August's corpse which he had sucked his energy, but there was only a blackened tree trunk.
all were still confused by what was happening, but Lyra smiled she understood.
"Aunt what happened?" ask Carrol.
"Claras"
"August asked Clara to create an illusion for him" Lyra replied.
"How did you do it." Gorran looks confused.
August did not reply, his left hand took out two bright green rays about the size of a marble and sent them towards Lyra and Carrol.They both knew it was healing energy, the events in his temple are very much in their remembrance, they let the light hit their bodies, when the pain disappeared, their energy was restored as before.
"Say Goddamn it. How did you do it?" Gorran startq frustrated.
"Only my friend calls me August, scum like you calls me Mercia."
August lunges at Gorran, a fist with a flash of red, blue and golden light bursting onto Gorran's body. August jumped up and floated ten of his fingers out a flash of green-colored light towards Gorran.

Gorran wanted to dodge but both of his legs were immersed in a block of ice and locked him up until he could not move, Lyra whipped her whip, wrapped around Gorran's neck, wrapped around her, Gorran held the whip with his left hand so that he did not choke, but the golden bullet in Hedya's shot hit his left hand, the grip was released he was increasingly suffocated, he was increasingly strangled, Carrol jumped up and slammed his trident towards Gorran's heart, along with that, Lyra pulled a powerful whip in her hand. "i'll teach you a lesson!" she then kissed Julia on August's lips.
"can you do it after we're all out of here?" said Hedya turning her face away.
Lyra understood her son's feelings a lot. she whispered "you're jealous?"
her face flushed, "mother what are you talking about?"
"what should we do with this corpse?" ask Ray.
"we have to properly bury James and Lizzie, I can't leave them here" Valery said.
Hedya walked towards the bodies of James and Lizzie, he let out two orange rays and then directed at the two bodies.Their bodies were torn back intact while August walked over to Valery.
"Val.I'm sorry I couldn't protect them" August said.
"There's no need to apologize, we all know the risks of being here, and I and others want to ask you for something" Valery said.
"what can I do?"
Valery clutching August's collar.
"i promise." replied August hugging Valery.
Julia herself was touched to hear the words of Valery. she also began to understand a little, there is a big responsibility on the shoulders of August. she was not jealous when August embraced Valery.
"I will contact Captain Sanders to properly attend the funeral of both" Hedya said.
"thank you" Valery said, wiping away her tears.
"let's get the hell out of here" Carrol said.
everyone nodded in agreement.
"August wait for me to take my car" said Julia.
"where's your car? I didn't see it." asked August.
"around the building behind the car" Julia said pointing to an off road car about three hundred meters away.

Julia smiled and left August to take her car.
"are you still hurt?" august asks Carrol and Lyra.
"No.., we're all fine thanks to your help." replied Lyra.
"what's your plan now?" ask Lyra.
August did not answer. Lyra saw August's face change, her gaze was very alert.
"what's wrong?" ask Lyra back.
lyra's question made the others look towards August. August looked around him, his back and nape feeling cold.
'this feeling there's danger around here' August thought.
seeing August looking around him, Lyra was on guard.
"there's someone else here" Lyra said.
Hearing Lyra's words, Carrol and the others became alert.
"No.. JULIAAA'S.. AWASS...!" August yells at Julia but is too late.A black needle along the finger of a blue-lit adult shoots up Julia's left waist and penetrates out of her right waist.

no screaming Julia's body collapsed, August caught it.
"Hold hold on. I'll help you." said August he released his healing energy, a green ray coming out of his hand flowing into Julia's body lying on her lap.
"Hahaha, you can't help her with that healing power of yours." a woman's voice suddenly appeared followed by four others.
August doesn't care what she says he's still trying to treat Julia. Blood now came out of his mouth.
"the needle will destroy the cells in his body, he will die of rot, hahahaha..!" said the woman again.
The anger of August begins to show, the rosy aura begins to mix with the healing energy he channeled into Julia's body. Julia was now enveloped in green energy mixed with red.
"Julia hold on.." August starts to panic, seeing Julia getting weaker.
"hey calm down, it's okay," said Julia holding August's cheek that had been soaked by her tears.
"a.. what are you. You men. love me?"
"i love you!"
"are you going to marry me"
"i'll marry you, we'll get married in the lakefront gazebo" August replied.
But Julia did not hear August's reply, her eyes were closed, her body was emitting a dazzling white light, slowly evaporating, her entire body cells were split apart to the size of atoms.
"Julia don't go...!"
