Midnight Foot Step
Chapter 12 - The Housekeeper

Upon seeing a beam of sunlight that broke through from the window slit, the fear of Dance and Siska began to slacken. They dared to get out of bed and took turns to go to the bathroom.

After cleansing themselves, their bodies and minds become fresher. The feeling was also calm, not chaotic like last night.

Dance out of Siska's room and carefully enter room 201. He took his things that last night moved himself there.

"I still don't think, how can your stuff go back there. Though, nine o'clock was still neatly arranged in my room," whispered Siska after helping Tari move things.

"Of course." Dance breathed a rough breath. "How dare they bother you? In fact, I'm not doing anything here. Since the first time I came, things beyond reason have been bothering me. The presence of Arum, for example," he continued.

"Many people feel that this hostel is haunted. But, do not know they are disturbed badly or not. As far as I know, they only often hear the sound of footsteps at midnight," said Siska while staring at Tari.

"Evenings, before coming out of the next room, I heard that voice. Ahh, just really serem. I don't want to experience that anymore." Dance spoke as she shook her head quickly, trying to evict the terrible memories that happened last night.

"How are you?" Siska moved and sat down near Tari. He wanted to hear the detailed events his friend had experienced.

"She woke up, it was exactly 12:00 p.m. I was shocked and hurried to get out, but the door was locked, completely unopened. I screamed and screamed, but no one cried. In fact, suddenly the live lights die by themselves, continue as if there is a creepy laughter. I got lemes, my heart like to dislodge Sis," explained Tari at length.

Siska has not yet responded. He only gulped while listening to the Dance story.

"When the lights are normal, I try to open the door again while still screaming. But, after that I even heard the sound of footsteps that were so serene. I was silent, not daring to open my mouth again. Fearing his fear, I saw a white figure flying outside the window." Dance continued her story while shuddering.

"God! How do you keep getting out?" ask Siska.

"After the white figure was gone, the door opened by itself. I docked there, immediately pushed and almost fell," replied Tari.

"Then?"

"I hurried out and gedor this room."

"Geez, this is so bad Ri. It's really terrible" said Siska.

"That was last night I cried Sis. Afraid of not being able to get out and .. not surviving."

"It's a big storm" replied Tari.

After that, the two stopped talking and only struggled with their respective minds. Until finally, Tari remembers a piece of events that have not been disclosed.

"Oh yes, last night fitting out of the room, I saw a middle-aged man was climbing the stairs while carrying a tray. But, it is unclear what the contents of the tray are. About .... He's a real person isn't he, huh?" Dance opened the conversation again.

"Middle-aged men?" ask Siska.

"Yes, his hair is white. The body is big and tall, but the path is a bit slouching, " replied Tari.

"Is there a wound on his left face?"

Dance was silent for a moment, trying to remember the face of the man she saw last night.

"Yes there, above the gini eye." Dance held her own face. "It is not clear how small it is. I didn't pay much attention last night. I was scared," he continued.

"The wound is long until it reaches the forehead" said Siska.

"Well! You knew?" tanya Tari and then Siska nodded.

"He's human? Not ghosts?"

Siska laughed crisply, "Yes. He's Mr. Hasan, the housekeeper."

"Thankfully." Dance also smiled while stroking the chest. Soon, however, he felt an awkwardness again.

"But, what are the night-night dormitory guards? Where to bring a tray of everything again. Is there maybe a dormitory resident who pesen that food? But, the time is yes, the middle of the mall," said Tari. He broke his own assumptions before Siska gave an opinion.

"Come Ri. I ... also do not know," Siska said a moment later. His voice sounded slow, but meaningful.

Without asking further, Tari was already convinced that Siska also felt an awkwardness like her.
