Derrick finally regained his senses from his stupor after three hours had passed from feeling something licking his cheek, when half-conscious Derrick saw a fanged creature watching him with a hungry expression.

"Ah," Derrick immediately moved away from the creature which turned out to be an ordinary wolf (not a monster).

The wolf roared furiously with claws stuck on the ground and eyes stared at Derrick with a murderous gaze, a second later the wolf ran and clawed at Derrick.

Of course Derrick easily dodged and stabbed the wolf in the neck with his dagger, the wolf died after a few convulsions.
