Three days Aline had been hospitalized, and during that time Bu Kanti had never visited him at all. Only Arka himself who takes care and takes care of all the needs of the wife to have to take a leave of absence for one week. Today Aline has been allowed to go home, Arka painstakingly helps the wife change clothes and clean up their belongings before returning home. The activity stopped when the sound of Aline's cell phone rang.
"Mas, could you please take my phone in the bag," Aline's pinta was immediately taken by the husband.
Arka's forehead frowned when she saw the name Arum listed on the flat object screen. However, Arka chose to hold back for a moment the feeling of the rudimentary and immediately gave the phone to his wife.
"Hallo Arum" said Aline kindly, as when the relationship was still fine as before.
"Hallo Aline, are you coming home today?" ask Arum on the other end of the phone.
"So, this I've been cleaning up with Mas Arka. After that I'm going straight home."
"Yes, be careful. Later in the afternoon I want to see you with Johan."
"Yes, thank you."
"Together."
The phone call ended, Aline handed her phone back to her husband.
"Your phone call? Do you communicate often now?" asked Arka after sneaking back the wife's smartphone in her bag.
"Yes, Mas. My relationship with Arum has improved again, later in the afternoon he said he also wants to look at me," replied aline with a strand of smile on her thin lips.
"Yes, now we go home first. Keep resting." Aline nodded her head, confirming the husband's words.
Arka encourages Aline to use a wheelchair to get to the car. Arka's attitude is now much changed since the usri suffered a miscarriage, more attention and look more loving Aline sincerely. However, for some reason Aline is still hesitant to follow Arka's plan to formalize their series marriage.
The car driven by Arka started to split the city streets that afternoon. Occasionally the man's tail glanced at the wife who preferred to turn her gaze out the window.
"Aline," said Arka broke the silent atmosphere that they had created themselves.
"Hmmm," replied Aline who was still focused on the scenery out there.
"So when do you want to officially marry me?" This time Arka's question managed to make Aline turned to the husband who was still focused on driving.
"Official marriage? Are you sure, Mom? Honestly, after I lost my son. I hesitated to marry you officially, instead" Aline made Arka choose to pull over her car and talk to her first.
Arka stared fixedly at the face of the woman who had now legally become his wife religiously. There was clearly a hint of doubt on that still slightly pale pretty face. However, one thing Arka realized. The look of love in Aline's eyes for her had now started to fade. But, Arka knew this wasn't Aline's fault. The woman changed as well because of her attitude which had been so outrageous all along. Especially now that Aline has also just lost her fetus.
"Did you love me no more? Do you really hate me now?" Arka's eyes pinched waiting for the answer to be thrown from the young woman's lips.
"I still love you, Mom. But honestly, if Mom's attitude is still like that I certainly won't be able to survive. I'm not Arum who can stand still and accept when your mother oppresses him, my patience is only as thin as tisue," said Aline Ranpa daring to stare at Arka.
"I can understand what you're feeling right now. But I promise you, I'll treat you well. I'm not going to let you bully my wife anymore" Arka said with confidence, but not enough to make Aline believe.
"You just prove it all, Mom. Clearly, I won't want to marry you officially before you can prove your bragging, "Aline replied half insinuatingly.
Arka no longer responded to the wife's remarks, the man chose to return to his car and the silence again occurred until the car stopped in front of the Arka residence.
"Do you want to walk alone or do I just carry?" bargain Arka after opening the car door for the wife.
"I can still walk by myself."
Arka swiftly memapah the wife to enter the house. Upon arrival inside, both are made head bobbles to see the condition of the house that is so dirty. Wrap snacks everywhere, used dishes piled up in the sink. Not to mention the dirty clothes of Bu Kanti who has been mounted in the basket of dirty clothes.
"You see, Mas. I just got home from the hospital, but the house is like a broken ship. Then, who's gonna clean it all up if it's not me?" annoyed Aline who still looked disgusted at every corner of the house.
"Patience, you don't have to sort this out."
"You mean?"
"Bus ... Mama!" arka shouted calling Bu Kanti who did not know their return.
With a lazy step Bu Kanti out of the room, his face was a little surprised when he saw the child and his daughter-in-law who had returned home from the hospital.
"A-Arka, Aline, you guys didn't say that today you've come home from the hospital," wondered Ms. Kanti, her face looks so nervous especially after seeing the current condition of her house.
"What if Arka didn't say? This is why a house can look like a ship broke like this, ma'am?" The question raised by Arka made the middle-aged woman scratch the back of her head that did not itch.
"Okay, Arka. This mother is an old sydah, which can if you have to clean a house this big. After all, Aline is home now. So he can clean it all up." Bu Kanti put on a face to make Arka back pity him, while Aline just kept quiet while turning her eyes panted.
This time Aline did deliberately not argue the words of her in-laws because she wanted to see if Arka could prove all her boasting earlier. The man approached and held both of the mothers shoulders.
"Mom, Aline this isn't a maid. She's Arka's wife. After all, this house wouldn't be this dirty if you weren't lazy. Arka, don't want to know. Anyway, I'll clean everything up, I want to accompany Aline to rest upstairs. He just recovered and needs a lot of rest."
The man soon passed, helping Aline manaiki the steps leading to their room. Leaving behind the busy Bu Kanti nagging and stomping her feet in annoyance.
Lazily, Bu Kanti started cleaning the house. Starting from putting dirty clothes into the washing machine, washing dishes until sweeping at once mopping the floor of the house.
"Geez, it's so tired. Deserve first Arum until kuel and dekil so appearance," Oceh Bu Kanti while massaging his own waist that feels so sore after cleaning the entire house.
Arka and Aline who had been peeking from the top floor could only giggle amusedly at the babbling of the middle-aged woman. A moment later there was the sound of the doorbell coming back to make Bu Kanti clucked upset because she had just rested there was more disturbing.
