The night had dissolved with the moonlight and the thousands of stars that decorated the black sky. Accompanying a middle-aged man who had just woken up from his sleep after getting a drug injection earlier this afternoon. Tirta slowly opened her eyes, her gaze peeling around. Silently, no one accompanied him in the hospital room. His hands were stretched out, holding onto the bandaged leg from a gunshot wound. Again the middle-aged man's eyes glared, staring at the white and empty room wall.

"Fitri, I miss you, son. I want to stay with you. Come Fitri, come to see father," the middle-aged man's chattered with a sobbing sound. Visible tears just drooling from both the netra, wet the cheeks that began to wrinkle because of inedible age.

Tirta got up, leaned her body against the head of the bed. The old man was silent. I don't know what he was thinking, until he finally remembered an object that he had stored under a pillow since the first time he entered this hospital. His cheeks glistened sharply in his hands. Slowly but surely, Tirta scratched the penknife on his wrist. The pain and soreness when his skin was scratched did not make the man cry or screech. Instead, Tirta smiled. Slowly, his eyes began to shut enjoying every pain he was feeling. Tirta was so happy to wait for the time to meet her beloved daughter after the life that was so painful for her ended.

The morning came again with sunshine and birds chirping outside the window. Arum and Johan are still cozy under the covers after a night of staying up late to take care of his two little angels. The ringing sound of the phone coming from a flat object made Johan slowly open his eyes. The man's eyes fished, staring at an unknown number plastered on his smartphone screen.

"Who the hell is the morning of the phone, bother people to rest," Johan murmured then shifted the green icon and attached the flat object to his ear.

"Hallo good morning," Johan said in a raspy voice typical of waking up.

"Good morning, Mr. Johan. We from the police would like to inform you if Pak Tirta has died!"

"What!!" Johan's shrieking voice made Arum tiptoed in shock, the woman holding the head that felt throbbing from suddenly waking up.

"Did I hear wrong, sir? How did that happen?" johan asked the policeman who was still standing on the other end of the phone.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Johan. We were negligent, we didn't know if he still had his knife. Mr. Tirta used it to cut his veins and end his life" the police said.

"I'll be in the hospital soon!" Johan immediately ended his phone call unilaterally, the man turned his head. Staring at the wife who had been looking at him with a full search.

"What's up, Mom? Who's calling, how can you panic like that?" Arum leaned on her husband with questions.

"You get ready, we're going to the hospital now!" johan's orders were still in a panicked tone.

Arum knitted his eyebrows after hearing the husband's command, "To the hospital, Mas? This partial? But for what, did something happen to Aline?"

As fast as lightning Johan shook his head, "No, Mr. Tirta died. He killed himself."

"Why did this happen? Didn't the police know he had plans to end his life?" Johan can only shake both shoulders, he himself can not understand how a person who is guarded by two policemen can kill himself without being known by anyone.

"The police said, Mr. Tirta committed suicide using a folding knife that he had been hiding all this time. Never mind, we better get to the hospital now. I want to make sure that he really is dead" Johan concluded later.

Arum nodded, the woman cleaned herself and changed. Do not forget to polish the thin makeup on his father's face. In a hurry, Arum approached Bi Marni who was struggling in the kitchen to cook breakfast.

"Bi Marni," called Arum with a panicked voice.

"Yes, Non. What's up?"

"Me and Mas Johan are going to the hospital, there's important business. Titip kids yes, in the freezer there are still severe ASI right?" Arum made sure that his children would not starve when he left for a long time.

"There's still a lot, Non. Don't worry," Bi Marni replied without asking what the employer was doing to the hospital this early.

"Yes, then we go first, Bi."

Arum and Johan joined hands to the car, the man stepped on the accelerator and drove his black car at high speed to penetrate the dense morning streets in the city. After thirty minutes of driving, Arum and Johan finally arrived at the hospital. Johan took the wife's hand to head to a room where Tirta had been treated earlier.

There looked deserted, no more policemen guarding the door. The room was also left open, a sign that there were no more inhabitants. Johan clucked in annoyance, the man decided to ask one of the nurses passing by in front of him.

"Excuse me, Sus. Can I ask you something?" johan said politely.

"Yes, Sir. Can I help you?" reply to a woman wearing a nurse uniform.

"Rubber, Sir. Now the body is in the morgue" explained the woman. Johan nodded and then returned to his wife's hand after thanking her.

Because of being too rushed, Johan accidentally hit the body of a man.

"I'm sorry I didn't accidentally, Mom.

"Johan!" It turns out that the person Johan hit just now is Arka.

"Why are you in the hospital so early? Is there a problem with Tirta?" asked Arka, her feelings suddenly felt bad.

"Tirta died, she killed herself!" Arum's answer made Arka's eyes widen instantly.

"What's? How could he kill himself?" Ask Arka, the man's memory was restored on the incident yesterday afternoon when Tirta went berserk.

"Okay, we don't know either. I brought Arum here just to make sure that Tirta really died. Not just a show."

"Alright, I'm coming with you to the morgue now" Arka said.

The three walked in tandem, down the hospital aisle to get to the mortuary. In front of the room there are already some police who seem to be waiting for the arrival of Arum and Johan.

"Good morning, sir," Johan said to one of the policemen.

"Good morning, Mr. Johan. Does Mr. Johan want to see the body of Mr. Tirta?" bargain the burly man in the brown uniform who already knew Johan quite familiarly.

"Yes sir, I want to see and make sure that Pak Tirta is really dead. Honestly, I was traumatized. Afraid that all of this was just a play that the old man deliberately made up," Johan said bluntly about what he was worried about at the moment.

"Then please, I'll drop off."

Johan and Arka follow the man's steps to enter the mortuary, while Arum decides to wait outside. The woman didn't have enough guts to see Tirta's corpse. When he entered the mortuary, Johan and Arka could immediately feel the cold. The footsteps of the two men continued to sway following a policeman who walked in front of them all the way to a corpse covered in white cloth. Unasked, the police opened the body cover to the chest. Showing the face of Pias Tirta. Johan could only shake his head. Why it was so easy for Tirta to end his life.

"Are you sure he really killed himself?" asked Johan with narrowed eyes full of probing.

"Yes sir, yesterday afternoon he had a tantrum and got a sedative injection. Maybe the night he realized, whether hallucinating or something. Mr. Tirta cut his own veins and this morning when the doctor was about to examine him it turned out that Mr. Tirta was dead with blood dripping from his wrist." The police began to tell the incident yesterday afternoon that made Johan stunned. The man did not expect that Tirta had previously gone berserk. After confirming that Tirta had actually died, Johan immediately exited the mortuary and told the police.

"Let's go now" Johan told his wife.

"Where are you going? Home now?"

"We all just look at Aline, so we can also tell each other," said Johan, it looks like the man is in need of a friend to talk to. Too many burdens filled his heart and head.

The three again walked in tandem towards Aline's ward. Seemed the young woman had just finished breastfeeding her baby, she was a little surprised to see the presence of her two friends who were so early had arrived at the hospital.

"Wow you guys are so diligent, it's only seven in the morning. But you have already visited me" said Alin who did not know at all that Tirta was dead.

Arum sighed in annoyance, walking closer towards Aline and also Bu Kanti, "Actually I don't want to come here this early, but the police called because Pak Tirta died. That's why we had to go to the hospital."

"What's? Tirta's dead, son? How come?" Bu Kanti fused her eyebrows at Arum's words.

"He killed himself, Mom. Cutting his own veins, and he said yesterday afternoon he also had a rampage," explained Johan replied to the curiosity of Bu Kanti.

Arka nodded on the sofa beside her best friend. The man patted Johan on the shoulder and then recounted what he saw yesterday. Where Tirta had raged and shouted to call Fitri's name, he also told if the possibility of Tirta killing himself because of hallucinations. Most likely the old man also suffered from a mental disorder and felt even more devastated about having lost his daughter. Plus he feels he failed to take revenge on the Johan family.
