Modern Women's Charm
Throw away Identity

"Why are you defending that man? Don't you see Vin being like this because of him! let me go, I'll kill the man." Vedis struggling to escape from Valir's restraint.

It was a pity that the strength of the female elves could not keep up with the strength of the male elves, so Vedis could not break away.

"What are you doing here?" Suddenly another voice made the room become silent for a moment.

Vedis and Valir turned towards the bed, looking as if Vin had regained consciousness and was now sitting on the bed.

"Vin, are you okay?" Vedis asked with a worried face.

"Well, I'm fine, you don't have to blame Julia." Vin replied with a calm face.

"Vin you... Did I tell you, why did you do that with that human? Look at you!" Vedis doesn't understand why her best friend is so calm and forbids her from blaming Julia.

Vin closed his eyes for a moment and opened them again, he looked at Vedis and Valir with a stern look.

"I love her."

"The chin!" Vedis screaming.

"Be quiet, this is my path I chose this path." Vin's face was still calm.

"But you won't be able to stay here anymore." Vedis doesn't want that to happen because she actually harbors a bit of feelings for Vin, but she doesn't dare to express.

Due to today's incident, if Vin can't stay in the Elf forest anymore, Vedis can't meet with Vin because the Elf rules also prohibit female Elves from coming out of the Elf forest.

He couldn't possibly see Vin's face anymore and he was so unwilling.

"I don't care, I can live anywhere, living in a human city is not a problem." Vin replied still with a calm face as if he was just facing a trivial matter.

"You're crazy!" Vedis shouted and left Vin's house while slamming the wooden door hard enough.

After that day Vedis never appeared around the Vin tree house.

Vin knew the things he chose had a big risk and a lot of harm to him.

Because the Elf Race has a rule that Elves are prohibited from having partners from other races, especially humans.

If it did not obey, then the curse of the elves would befall them.

The curse was the loss of shine from the elf's hair and made them no longer able to feel the power of the earth, they could no longer use magic.

Valir stared at Vedis departure, he then looked again at Vin who was now walking towards Julia who was crying on the floor.

"What are you gonna do?" Valir asked.

"Otherwise, I'll leave before the others kick me out." Vin hugs Julia, one of his hands stroking Julia's head to calm the woman in his arms.

"I know I can't live here anymore." Vin added.

"Where will you live? " Valir sighed, he opened the window and breathed fresh air from outside.

"The human city." Vin answered again.

"But your ears?" Valir asked that because elf ears are tapered and longer than human ears.

Surely humans will not let Vin stay safely in the human city before knowing the identity of Vin is from the Elf race.

To be aware, Elves have a tree-like longevity and it is believed that the flesh and blood of Elves have the effect of extending life for those who eat them.

That was one of the reasons why elves chose to live alone and it was hard to find any existence from any race.

"No problem, I'll cut it."

Valir and Julia looked at vin with shocked eyes.

Cutting the ears into the shape of a human ear must have been very frightening and if it was really done then Vin had completely discarded his identity as an Elf.

Julia did not agree with that, she did not want Vin to sacrifice many things for her sake.

It was a pity that Vin was determined and could not be undone, finally the long tapered ears typical of the Elf race were cut by Vin himself.

Ever since his pointed ears were cut, Vin was gone.

That's the story of why Vin aka Jean's father cut off his ear, which is to remove all his identity as an Elf.

She opens a new page with her partner Julia and has a new name, Ethan, and blends into life as an ordinary human in a human city.

"So my father was an Elf named Vin?" Jean did not believe the incredible story.

Valir's story is like a fairy tale and more like boasting in Jean's ears.
