"Don't cry anymore" said Seojun and patted me on the back. I nodded, wiping my tears.

"I'll go to the toilet first." I told him and he was waiting for me outside.

I washed my face and I saw my reflection in the mirror - my eyes were red and swollen, my nose was red too. I let out a breath. Why should he scream at me? I didn't make a mistake!

I went outside and Seojun smiled at me. "Let's talk somewhere" he said.

I nodded and he took me to the stairs on the third floor, a place that was rarely passed.

We sit on the stairs. "So you want to tell me?"

ask Seojun.

"... I don't know," I said.

"You can't lie about your feelings. If you don't want to tell me, I won't force you" he said.

I sighed, "Before you came to this school. Taehyung and I always fight. It's only recently that we've become friends, a little bit, but he's starting to revert back to what he used to be, or maybe worse."

"Ah. that's sad. You likey?" he asked and looked into my eyes.

I looked back at him, thinking of the answer to his question.

I looked and said. "No."

"But you look very hurt when he yells at you" he said.

"I'm just embarrassed" I said.

"Well," he said, "Why aren't you dating me?"

"Huh?" I looked at him, confused.

"You're dating me so you can take your mind off whatever's going on between you and Taehyung, and I can protect you from it."

I was still staring at Seojun blankly because I didn't know how I should respond to him.

"I like you" he said and winked at me.

It was a confession, this was the first time anyone had expressed his feelings for me.

"Why... Wh-what?"

"So, that means yes?" he said and looked at me.

I awkwardly smiled, "Okay."

"I love you. Hyejinnie," he said and pinched my cheek.
