"Lee Hyejin are you ready?" My mother called me from the living room.

"I'm dataaang" I replied. It was too early in the morning when I finally had to move. I grabbed my handbag and pulled my suitcase, walked out of my room and saw my parents waiting for me at the door.

"Let's go. You're not leaving anything behind, are you?" My father asked and I nodded. My parents walked outside the house and I slowly followed them with a heavy heart. This is it, I will never see my house again because it will be sold.

"Hyejin hurry up, we can't be late or we'll miss the flight." My mother called me to hurry. I accelerated my steps to the gate and walked outside. Mom locked the gate and I stared at my house one last time, and she patted my back encouragingly.

We took a taxi to the airport and arrived at about six o'clock. An hour before the flight and we waited patiently. I can't help my grief. I still can't believe the fact that I left Korea.

As we were about to board the plane, I received a message. It was from Taehyung.

"Have a safe flight, remember to call me." Taehyung.

I smiled, feeling a little excited after reading the message.

"Thank you, don't be late for school. I have to go now, annyeong." - Hyejin.

...***...

A few hours later the plane landed safely. We got out of the airport and got a taxi.

I looked around and there were all sorts of people, fluent in English. I'm very worried because I'm not so fluent but know some basic English.

"Let's see our new home, Hyejin," Dad said as soon as the taxi stopped in front of us. We took the taxi all the way to our new home. The American environment is new to me. All the streetboards are in English and all that sort of thing.

An hour or so, we finally arrived at our house. I got out of the taxi and was amazed to see the new house. The house is large with a white rooftop, where the base is all white from the outside. It's three stories high and there's a Maserati lying outside. I realize it's like Taehyung's house.

I stared and rarely blinked. "This is really our home?" I asked my parents.

Mother chuckles, "lya dear. Come on in. Look around the room."

I went into the house and it was really awesome. The house is warm and the interior design is beautiful. I dropped myself on the couch and turned on the television. This is amazing.

"Hyejin, let's go see your room first." Mother called.

I followed him to the second floor and opened the door to my room. I squealed as I looked at my room in pastel pink - this is my favorite color! I ran in and jumped into my bed and it felt so comfortable.

I sat on the bed and looked around my room which was bigger than mine in the old house. Moving is not a very bad thing as it turns out, but I still miss Taehyung and others, especially Korean and Korean food.

I rested and woke up because my phone was ringing. I reached for my phone and half consciously saw the caller ID before I finally answered.

"Hey! What took you so long to answer?" Taehyung.

I laughed softly. "This how do you say hello?"

I heard him breathing there. "You okay? What time is it there?" tanyakanya.

"I'm just a little bit jet lagged. It's morning, it's Korean night, isn't it?"

"Oh... This is difficult because time zones are different" Taehyung said. "Why am I the first one to call you? Didn't I tell you to call me? This kid..."

"Araseo araseo, I'm sorry. The plane was uncomfortable so I couldn't sleep on the plane" I replied.

"Whatever, my parents are at home so I'll have dinner with them now. Don't forget to call me later."

"yes well, annyeong," I said to him and us

both closed the connection. I smiled and put my phone next door. I went down into the kitchen and saw my mother arrange

dining table. I'm holding naoas back from looking at the table

full of Korean cuisine.

"Mom cooked all this? Jjang eomma! (Mother is the best!)" I called out and quickly picked up right. She laughed softly and sat in front of me.

We started to enjoy our breakfast when my father suddenly spoke. "Hyejin you can start school tomorrow. I've enrolled you in a school not far from here, I'll take you to school tomorrow."

"But Appa... I'm new here" I said, trying to get my dad to give me some time off before school.

"You're new here, and that's why you have to make friends and learn about people in America, quickly" my father told me.

I took a breath and just scooped a spoonful of rice into my mouth.

After eating, I went to my room and rearranged my things. Honestly, my stuff doesn't fill up because my room is so big. When I finished, I threw my body into bed. A lot of things still bother me. I don't know if I can adapt to the people here because I'm an awkward person, I don't even have many friends in Korea.

I spent the rest of my day in my room watching K-dramas instead of preparing myself for school the next day.

...***...

"Hyejin, wakeup! You should get ready for school!" Mother called. I wake up and stretch my muscles. I snarled at having to go to school today. I took a heavy step into the bathroom and quickly prepared myself. I picked up my bag when suddenly my phone shook - It was a message from Taehyung.

"Annyeong. How's it going? What the hell are you doing? Can I call you? Did you miss me?"

I laughed because he asked me so many questions.

"I'm very good. I'm leaving for school now so I'll call you next time, okay? And yes I miss you, very." - Hyejin.

With that, I walked out and downstairs for breakfast. A few minutes later, I got a reply from Taehyung.

"Ah. araseo. I miss you so much. Good luck with your school. Fighting!" - Taehyung.

...***...

The school is finally over and it's not too bad. I met a Korean girl, and she was a friend. But it's awkward because I don't understand much about what people say because they speak fast in English.

After school, I went straight home and ran to my room. I sat on my bed and turned on my laptop. I opened Skype and Taehyung was online. I just wanted to send you a video call request but he did it before me. I fixed my hair and looked at my appearance in the mirror before receiving the video call request.

"ANNYYEOONNGGG HYEJIN!!" he shouted and waved his hand as he looked at me on the screen.

I laughed and looked at him. My eyes began to blur with tears of happiness. "Annyeong Kim Taehyung!"

"Hey why are you crying. Don't cry pabo" Taehyung said.

I smiled, "Whatever. Have you slept? You should be at school in an hour, right?"

"I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. That much I miss you, you idiot. And don't talk about school, I can ignore it."

"Hey Kim Taehyung! You better not skip school unless you're sick"

"Oww... Stomach hurts. I don't think I can go to school today." Taehyung pretended and started rubbing his stomach.

I rolled my eyeballs and laughed because of the bad acting. We talked for a while when I suddenly realized he was hugging something I knew.

"Hey. The doll is mine, isn't it ?" I asked him.

"yes, you gave it to me when I went to your house before, don't you remember?" the answer.

"Ah... Of course I remember. You still keep it?" I asked and he nodded.

We talked for about two hours before we realized he had to go to school. "Hey, get ready for school. We'll talk another time" I said.

"No, five more minutes." he begged and lashed out. "No, you're gonna be late."

"Please .??" she pleaded again, acting cute.

I rolled my eyeballs and laughed."Hey, your aegyom doesn't work for me. That's repulsive. Hurry up, you can't be late."

he sighed and nodded. "OK, all right, remember to call me right away, bye" she said and I nodded before we both ended the video call.

...***...

Weeks and months went by and school pressured me more. I had to develop my English, I had to make friends with people at school, I had to pursue my studies, and I was very busy. My parents even sent me for extra tutoring. Because of my busy schedule, I rarely have time to talk to Taehyung, and also because the time zone is different.he often sends me messages but I very rarely reply to him.

One night I was just finished with an extra class when Taehyung suddenly sent me a message.

"Have you forgotten me? You found a new friend huh?"

I let out a breath. Another stupid message, he always sent me a message saying that I had forgotten him and the others. I was frustrated and so lazy to reply to her messages or even talk to her on the phone. Besides, I was very tired after all the hectic schedules and my exams were getting closer, which made me even more depressed.

Since then, Taehyung and I have rarely spoken, not even texted, nor video called.

Until one day in December, I was done with my exams and was off school, when I suddenly received a call from Mina. I quickly lifted it.

"MINA YEAH! How areyou! I miss you." I spoke loudly on the phone.

"Hey hey! Ears hurt. I'm good, and I miss you so much. What are you doing?"

"Well, it's a school break so I'm just cold at home. Anything I need to know?" I asked Mina.

"Ah...well, have you talked to Taehyung? The boy had suddenly changed drastically these few months. Well I mean, she didn't talk to anyone at school, and she looked so moody the whole time.la was hitting people back at school, and she wasn't even talking to Jimin and Jungkook," Mina said, and my eyes are turned. I suddenly became very worried about Taehyung.

"Oh? Thats odd.. I don't think he's making trouble at school anymore. What else did he do?" my many.

"I'm not sure. He is sometimes called to the Headmaster's room. A few days ago I was jogging in the park in the morning, I saw him sitting on a bench and he was crying by himself. I asked if she was okay, but she pushed me and ran." Mina.

My heart was a little broken hearing Taehyung become like that. I gulped. I think it was my fault to ignore him, he must have needed me so much.

"So, how is he now?" I asked Mina.

"I don't know. It's school holiday now, so I'm not sure what he's doing right now. I tried to ask Jimin and Jungkook to look after her, but they weren't sure how because Taehyung didn't pick up his phone, and he didn't open the door when we came to visit him."

I let out a breath. "Ottokhes... I'm so worried."

"It's okay.I'll try to ask Jimin and Jungkook for help again. By the way, when are you going to come and visit Seoul? I miss you so much" Mina said.

I thought for a second. "I don't know, I need to talk to my parents about that."

"AH right. Our school will have a new year's party later this month. All students, teachers, and even alumni are invited. Can you come?"

"Feculphin? Well, that sounds interesting."

"Come, okay? I'll be waiting for you. Let me know if you come. I have to have breakfast with my parents now, annyeong. I'll talk to you next time." Mina said.

"Araseo, annyeong," I answered and ended the call.

I took a breath and lay on the bed. The thought of Taehyung filled my mind, and I was worried about the boy.

Should I visit Seoul?
