Velicia: "Are you expecting this child or not?"

Questions that have been grappling since Davin said that the man did not love Velicia, making the woman feel worried about the fetus in her womb.

If he had not been able to fully accept the child he was carrying and Davin had not expected it, then for what reason would this child be born into the world?
