Chapter 37 - Cousin

"For now I don't want to expect much, for me the state of my womb is much more important" Ree concluded at the event confiding in the assistant who is none other than Dona.

Yeah, three days ago Dona came after Ree. He would go wherever Ree went because it was his duty, the great task of the Great Lord, Davis Scouth. Although his daughter was married but the middle-aged man could not take Ree off just like that.

"You're leaving now?" kenzo's sudden questioning made the two women startled.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Aren't you going to check on me?" ask Kenzo again. I don't know how many times he asked but Ree's answer remained the same. Ree refuses to check the womb with him on the grounds of the baby's desire when in fact he just doesn't want Kenzo to know something.

"Are you going to keep asking questions like that?" ask Ree ketus.

"Alright I won't ask any more, but from now on I'll put one bodyguard and a personal driver for you. Please don't refuse, I just don't want you guys to do anything." pinta Kenzo stared at Ree's distended stomach.

Ree smiled wryly hearing that, "Surrender!"

"Miss.." call Dona.

"It's okay." Ree replied convincingly.

And right, down there is a man in a black-black suit with a stature that is not much different from Kenzo. It was just that the man had a slightly darker skin tone. He looks like he's younger than Kenzo.

"Include him Mike, he's my cousin's brother and from today he'll be your personal bodyguard, Ree" Kenzo said.

Unlike if with Kenzo, this time Ree smiled so sweetly at the man who turned out to be his personal bodyguard.

"I don't know you yet. And I don't think I saw you at the wedding. I hope your escort makes me feel comfortable." Ree's remarks really made Mike misbehave. He thought that his cousin, aka his new employer, was arrogant or a judge because he came from a famous family but in fact he was not. Ree was impressed.

"Of course, Miss." answered Mike stammered.

"Call names like we're the same age." Pinta Ree again which makes Mike have trouble swallowing saliva.

While Kenzo could only remain silent while holding his frustration in his heart, "He spoke long and wide to others but not to me!" kenzo is dying to curse.

"It's not polite, it's better like this Miss." again Mike replied while adjusting his breath.

Dona tailed her Miss out of the house while Mike looked at his older cousin in confusion, "I'm saying goodbye Brother."

"Go!" from his tone Kenzo was expelling instead of inviting.

Mike scratches at his nape that is not itchy, if only he does not need any money he wants to work on Kenzo who incidentally is a cold and untouchable man but suddenly married and impregnated people's children.

"Mike, how old are you?" ask Ree on the way.

"28 years, Miss."

"Woaahh is right my guess, our age is not far away."

"Yes, Miss." answered Mike.

"So you're Kenzo's cousin's sister?"

"True Miss."

"From Kafi's Dad?"

"Uncle Kafi is my father's sister, Miss."

"But at the wedding.."

"My father died five years ago Miss. All this time I've been living with my mother and it's true I didn't come to your wedding because I had to look after a sick mother."

"Oh so." Ree became concerned.

"So even though you're cousins, you're not that familiar, are you?"

"Truly so Miss. Moreover, Brother Kenzo is a very secretive person, he always limits himself to interact with many people even if it is his own relatives."

Ree nodded in understanding, the woman flashed her faint smile at Dona. Dona responded with a forced smile.
