Elsewhere, a cold, flat-faced man walked quickly looking hastily out of a large corporate building of his.

He just got a report that Anastasia Laurencia has just resigned.

His heart rumbled violently, his intention today would be his happy day because soon he would declare love for the girl. But something unexpected suddenly happened.

Since morning Ana has not gone to work, Dave thought maybe he was in need. The girl suddenly resigned.

And what did he say? Want to continue your studies abroad?

Nah! This can't happen! Ana can't leave him!

Dave won't let his girl out of his life. Nah! She won't be willing if Ana steps away from her.

After reaching the basement, he headed straight to his car and drove off quickly.

Damn this road is jammed because it just so happens that now is the time to go home from work. And someone just offered Ana a letter of resignation in the hours leading up to work.

Shitt! If only the letter had reached her first, she would have met Ana since then.

The car in front of him immediately drove quickly without a hitch, as well as Dave who was driving at high speed when traffic was not as dense as earlier.

After taking almost an hour, Dave finally arrived in front of Alexander's mansion.

Without wasting too much time, Dave immediately walked into the mansion after being opened the door by the mansion workers.

He went straight to the living room without any prior invitation. After waiting for a while, Mr. Alex is seen just coming with his wife Jennifer.

"Dave's? Have you been waiting a long time?" Alex asked when he realized Dave was sitting on the living room couch.

"Good afternoon, um. Not too long." So Dave answered Alex's question.

"Oh thank goodness. I didn't know you were here. Oh yeah, what do you need to do here? it seems very important." Mr. Alex saw Dave's face that looked riled up.

"Look, om. I want to meet Ana. Is he inside?" Dave asked a little hesitantly, because not usually he asked a girl to his parents directly.

"What's the matter Ana, um?" Ask Dave so curious. Her heart grew uneasy, she felt like something had happened to Ana.

"Ana's going to continue her studies in London, her plane just took off." Obviously Mr. Alex after sighing.

"What??!!" Dave was so surprised by what Mr. Alex said. "No way! Why did he suddenly go to London? Why didn't you tell me? When will he continue his studies there? Didn't he promise to study with me? And I was able to guide him. But why did he suddenly leave without saying goodbye? Why om??" Dave asked quickly the questions he had in mind.

Mr. Alex seemed to take a deep breath. "I don't know either. Suddenly Ana asks permission to continue her studies there. She wants to be a tough woman and be able to boast of us. So we were forced to let go of our only child for the sake of his future." Mr. Alex embraces the shoulder of the wife who is also still feeling sad because she is separated from her child.

Mom Jenni had indeed spoken since then because if she let out a slight sound, she was not sure she could hold back her tears.

Honestly Mr. Alex and Mom Jenni strongly disagree over the decision of her daughter. All this time Ana never separated from her observation. He always lived near his parents. Being the only child of Alexander's descendants made him always kept overprotective by his parents.

That's why all this time Ana always attended school in the area where she lived because indeed Jenni and Dad Alex could not be far from her son.

"We're not lying, Dave. Ana has gone to London. She doesn't want to trouble you, Ana says she wants to be an independent woman and can benefit people.
