Mr. Paints

Mr. Paints
Burlbs

Minami Muruka, 16. Orphaned, stupid, unattractive.

He spent 10 years of his life in a social parlor and then moved to a rented apartment when he entered High School.

Often bullied and physically abused, Minami begins to become depressed.

The peak of his stress began when Yoshio Takeda suddenly approached him.

He accepts bullying that is out of bounds.

When Minami gives up and wants to end her life, a man shows up, promising her a lot of absurd things.

"I'll protect you and give you whatever you want. Princess Kaguya, marry me."

Perhaps, the world was too cruel for letting such a handsome man go crazy.

Episode 1's

In an empty field belonging to the school surrounded by old buildings, there were screams, slaps were also stepped on. The commotion managed to drown the sound of the bell coming in.

Minami Muruka was downcast, enduring the attacking pain in several parts of her body.

"You know what that means? It's just a small warning, you could have a broken bone. Remember your place, you trash!" shouted one of the four students who were surrounding him.

Roughly, he spat on the ground, rolling his little arm over, "Poor disciple, shouldn't have acted! Once again I see you with Yoshio, just look, what can I do!" his screams kicked the dust beside his shoes to make Minami's eyes hurt.

The girl-Kotomi Asahima, is the son of the headmaster of an international high school Tokyo. It is far from clever and polite. All the students wanted to be friends with him just because money was also power. While Minami, other than students from the scholarship program, there is nothing else that people can know from her. She is not an attractive girl or a genius. The poverty factor is the reason the school is willing to free him from all costs.

After being content to vent half her emotions, Kotomi left just like that. His friend followed after threatening Minami to keep the move a secret.

Always, he ended up alone as he was now. Healed his wound by remaining silent for a moment and appeared in the classroom like a fool.

"You're late again, Mina-san!" grumbled Sensei Watanabe pointed at the clock on his wrist. The Osaka man then tapped the tip of his iron ruler against the floor violently.

Minami lowered her head, bowing her body deeply. What he wanted, the problem was no longer extended.

The teacher understood enough that he let Minami in to take a seat.

Just then, a small whisper was heard from the side, right at Kotomi's desk. Not quite clear but Minami knew very well, it was not a threat that could be underestimated.

For Minami, Yoshio, his former neighbor, is no more important than inner calm. Popular men are different. They are protected like gold from the ugly.

...

St. Mango, Tokyo Mall.

The restaurant where Minami works part-time, is more crowded than a typical day.

This is the last week before summer vacation. There will be a lot of work like last year.

"Make sure no scent is left behind" said Mery, the dessert chef. He is actually good, only when working, professionalism is a top priority. That's the answer to why he's been able to keep his job for years.

Minami nodded, taking out more of the new cleaning detergent from a special storage rack.

Unfortunately, his hard work was shattered as his elbow nudged the pile of dishes that had just come.

Prangs!

Chaos ensues and breaks the rhythm of work that has been painstakingly built.

Minami immediately turned to face, picking up broken plates on the floor. He was upset with himself. In addition to being glared at by other workers, this time the possibility of being fired looms over him.

Ignore the wound on his finger due to being scratched

shards, Minami got up, started doing her job again.

However, Minami's guess was wrong. The manager has been there since. He scolded Minami too often and was patient enough to deal with anything the girl made.

From breaking furniture, misdelivering orders, littering guest clothes and forgetting to turn off the stove while cooking water. Everything, more than enough to lay off Minami.

"Find another job. Don't use your pathetic circumstances to mess up my restaurant." The middle-aged man slid a white envelope towards Minami just after ten minutes of work had run out.

Mery who had just walked out of the dressing room, stared at the atmosphere

with a sad expression. He is not very familiar with Minami, but knows very well if the girl does not have anyone.

After the manager of the restaurant left, he approached, leaning between the walls of the exit as Minami did.

"Here, just take it. You can buy some sandwiches at the store across the street" said Mery, giving Minami two yen. The 27-year-old girl's gaze was shaded, hoping that her help would not be denied. That's all he can do. Mery does not come from a sufficient family, he also needs money for his tuition fees.

Its value is quite large compared to the severance he just received.

"But don't you need it?"minami asked looking awkward.

Mery's eyebrows are upset, "Didn't you say your apartment lease is due? Think of it as finding a new job."

Right, the allowance money from the school for this semester's supplies, must be replaced, inner Minami smiled bitterly as she recalled the money taken back by Kotomi and his gang members.

The reason is simple. The money was from Minami's father, an education donor. So, there's nothing wrong with taking back his father's money.

"thank you. I don't know when I can get your money back" said Minami looking embarrassed.

He almost bowed to thank her, but Mery first held the girl's body.

"No, don't do it. For that little money, you just have to spend it right."

Mery pats Minami on the back, inviting the girl to go home before midnight.

Soon, the last bus is coming. It could be bad if they were left behind. Minami himself once spent a week's salary just because he missed the bus and was forced to pay according to the taxi argo.

During the five-minute drive to the stop, they occasionally talked about many things. Before long, Mery leaves Minami to board her coach bus.

Akh, okay. Again I messed it up," muttered Minami beginning to get confused with the money she had to make within the next week.

His parents died leaving nothing, but Minami was a little lucky because she could still live until now.

At least, he had to finish his High School to be able to work in a government-owned minimarket.

"Hey, do you need a ride?" suddenly a man shouted from the top of his motorcycle.

The sound of the engine was turned off before he moved closer to the stop's mouth to approach Minami.

His face was covered with a helmet, but Minami recognized him immediately.

It's Yoshio.

"No, I'm waiting for the bus, you go. Your house isn't in my direction anyway."

Minami was suddenly nervous, glancing at some people who were whispering about something.

The stop was too small to talk without being heard by others.

Yoshio pushed his helmet glass up, staring at Minami with a look of dislike.

"Why? Climb in. I'm having business in the same direction" Yoshio said a little forcefully.

Minami wanted to refuse, but struggling when a man pulled her this tight, it would definitely end up in vain.

Yeah, I need to talk about Kotomi's threats. So that he doesn't come near me anymore.
