Mr. Paints

Mr. Paints
episode 7's

The rain was long over, the speck vanished with the thin rainbow behind the factory buildings.

Minami was still at the end of the window, pulling the end of the towel over Yamashita's head.

There is no other answer but to agree, right? Is that just a pleasantry?Minami's mind nodded slightly, avoiding Yamashita's gaze with her wet hair. His heart rhymed a little as the man seemed to touch anything through his gaze.

"Then, how about tomorrow? I will prepare everything soon. We're not getting married here, but somewhere else" Yamashita said, waiting for the girl's reaction. Minami's brown eyes are small, hinting at panic and surprise.

He is 16 years old and his body looks thin. There was nothing interesting about the body of the girl with that same face. Had Yamashita not been confronted by her curse, she would have chosen to explore the countryside, finding the best wife-to-be. Unfortunately, that ridiculous fate speaks otherwise.

It turned out that, despite the reincarnation of a moon princess with a legendary beauty, it was still only the past at the first birth. Now, Yamashita doesn't know Minami is a reincarnation. Maybe the thousandth? The rest of her elegance as a princess was not even there.

"Elsewhere, what do you mean in a time that has been missed?"minami whispers seeking truth from Yamashita's eye line.

A light nod convinced Minami, though she was now dreaming, to wake up perhaps still too far away. His journey is just about to begin. He just needs a beautiful ending to his dream.

"Make sure you wear a Yukata with a simple bun,"close Yamashita bent in silence.

Later that night, Minami could not sleep. He occasionally sat down, enjoying the moonlight at the end of summer through the window of his apartment.

The atmosphere of the slum alley down there is so tenuous and dim. Although crime is rare, there is still a feeling of insecurity when walking in that place alone.

That's how Minami felt as she continued to walk through every second of her life without anyone. Actually, if there were no bullying words in her life, Minami wouldn't be this miserable.

Is it possible that he had a sin in a past life?

Minami is disturbed because in fact, her mind is now more filled about Yamashita. Whether to go where Nekomata's incarnation was until even though midnight was about to pass, his figure had not been seen anywhere.

It took several hours until finally the tired Minami waited involuntarily to fall asleep in a sitting position.

Until a while later, he woke up again because of the morning sun that touched his face warm.

He stood up and was surprised to find a silk Yukata lying on his bed.

"You're not too late to get ready." Suddenly Yamashita made a sound. Stand with a sharp look without blinking. Calmly, the lifting of traditional clothes to be thrust back at Minami.

The girl was glued, a little surprised. Is this the kind of payment he has to make to repay his kindness? I don't know. Minami was sure she had no other choice.

The girl stood up, straightening her back to take the Yukata in a quieter manner, "I'll try to get it done quickly."

"Thank you," Yamashita said bowing, describing the manners of old times.

A few minutes later, Minami came out of the bathroom. He moved stiffly because he was not used to his clothes. No elegant bun just ties hair in a cepol style.

"Don't you have the tools to paint faces?"tanya Yamashita sounded disappointed by Minami's performance.

He frowned, a little confused. What does make up mean? It's been a long time since I picked up a powder tester at a shopping mall earlier in the year.

Minami shook her head, looking at Yamashita with a guilty look, "No, I'm sorry."

Minami actually did not quite understand, but she chose to nod this time.

Time showed at nine in the morning as Yamashita held out one hand at Minami. At first the girl did not understand, until she finally realized, the time had come.

In the following minute, suddenly a small light emanated from inside the fingers holding each other, penetrating the walls of the apartment as if creeping up into the sky.

Maybe the strangeness is not realized by anyone. Only Minami tried not to scream as her body seemed drawn towards the top.

"Close your eyes, Princess. This is a special passage of time prepared for our return," Yamashita said, rolling up her rightful end with one hand.

There's no word from Minami's lips. The wind that suddenly came, instead swept through most of his gaze.

The longer, the gravitational waves get stronger until Minami pulls Yamashita's body, hugging her tightly.

Her husband-to-be feels so warm, sturdy and definitely able to provide lifelong protection.

Right, a lifetime.

...

"Daughter.. Princess Kaguya! Can you hear me?"someone's voice sounded so small. Minami thought, it was just a dejavu. He ignored it several times until he finally realized, maybe it was a call.

Did I faint? Since when? Minami opened her eyes carefully.

He caught the shadow of five similarly dressed people surrounding him. One checked his pulse, stomped his feet and- stared at him.

"Daughter, can you hear me?"

Back the same question was raised, this time more agitated. If at a glance, there was a possibility of them being female healers.

"Yes, I can hear him," said Minami moving small to hold the side of her head. He's not sure he ever fell, but why does his head feel like it hit?

The five let out a sigh of relief then looked at each other for a moment.

After a brief discussion about the good development of Minami, the one-on-one left, leaving Minami still in confusion.

For him, the place was very foreign and too ancient. Wood carvings engraved on support poles. Various amulets were also hung above the ceiling with a prayer altar that stood without a partition with another room.

Sayup-sayup, even Minami captures the sound of traditional singing with shamisen accompaniment.

Minami's mind started to err. Until then, there was the sound of the door being shifted. Seen a long foot in, stepping on the tatami.

"Are you conscious, Princess?"

Right, it's Yamashita. His formal style is now a little lost. His aura was not as stiff as it was at the beginning of their meeting. But Minami really doesn't care about that.

"Sorry can you tell me? What year is this?minami asked to let the man sit on the edge of his futon.

"222 BC. Nothing this year. Besides the havoc of war."
