Mr. Paralyzed's Bed

Mr. Paralyzed's Bed
Chapter 130

Rehan's footsteps were almost inaudible, as gunshots echoed throughout the half-destroyed building. The roar of this shot was not inaudible to the neighbors, obviously they heard it. It's just, they were too afraid to interfere, what else to call the police. What if they themselves are targeted later?

But from behind the absence of the neighbors, it became a matter of benefit from Diego's side. At the very least, he could show off a bit of his fangs without fear of dealing with the authorities.

Ten people who came with Malva had already died. Now there are only a few people who have just come with complete ammunition, while from the Diego side have almost run out of ammunition. Luckily, Rehan came at the right time.

The man's index finger pulled the trigger several times, his eyes were sharp, focusing on locking the target. Every now and then he glanced around and walked docked to some of his other colleagues.

"Where is he? I told you to look after him!" Diego raised his voice as he approached Rehan. Diego's face looks quite pale with fingers that still drain fresh blood.

"Dad took her to a safe place. Trust him, Sir!" Rehan tries to stay focused and throws the gun he brought at Eraz, who happens to be the man closest to him.

"Where's the help? They keep coming, our ammo's thinning!" Eraz frowned. A thread of sweat dripping down his clothes, it was obvious, he was already getting tired.

No one can give Eraz a definitive answer. They were all just hoping, there would be help giving them ammunition to continue fighting.

The night sky is quite bright, although some rooms are destroyed, but some portable lights are still lit even with dim light.

The sweat had soaked their bodies, even Emmil's breath looked quite heavy. Diego's face was also getting pale, somehow, how much blood was dripping out of his body. They tried to stay afloat, even though Max's people kept coming.

Until finally, the roar of a helicopter propeller sounded. At that time Diego could only hope, that the one who came this time was his side.

A group of men with bulletproof vests stormed. The pounding of gunfire increasingly shrieked the ears, mixed with the clattering of their footsteps that immediately cut off all troops from the side of Max.

"Help's coming! Help has arrived!" Eraz shouted quite loudly. A relieved expression was clearly engraved on his face, so happy, he even dropped his weapon and immediately sat leaning against the still intact wall.

Not only Eraz, Diego just threw his gun on the floor. His sight was so nimble, seeing a horde of troops coming and killing all of Max's men mercilessly.

Ashan was also no less relieved, he put down his weapon, rubbed the sweat that soaked his forehead, then turned to look at Guzel.

The woman had apparently been hiding behind the rubble ever since. Her eyes were already very cute, even the hue of lipstick on her lips had faded. However the strong girl was still able to pull a slight corner of her lips and look at Ashan.

After all the enemies fell, a man who was likely the head of the army, ordered them to split up and keep watch. Then, the man came closer to apologize to Diego.

"Just your men! Don't let the news of my foot's healing spread!" Diego's word was instantly accepted by him.

Everyone there is dead, no witnesses will tell Max. Now, only the reinforcements sent by Mustafa knew about this.

"You brought paramedics? Ashan's wife-to-be got hurt there!" diego pointed towards Ashan who was carrying Guzel's body.

Rehan approached Diego and told his body to go outside to see the medics. There were three medical cars ready to give them first aid. Perhaps, Mustafa had also asked these people to do so.

Guzel was immediately taken into the car for first aid, one of which was a blood transfusion. Diego was apparently the same, he also had to get a transfusion immediately. Luckily, their blood was not rare, and the officers had prepared in advance.

"Call Uncle Mustafa, ask how they're doing!" pinta Diego who was lying down received a blood transfusion.

"It's safe, sir. One of the father's servants told me, Miss Aishe has also received treatment" replied Rehan, who was still holding his phone, indicating that he had just worn it.

Diego was finally able to sigh in relief after hearing that. All of his confidants were intact, though he had to lose Aunt Nie who had been with him since childhood. At least tonight he still got the win.

After getting word about his wife. Diego suddenly remembered something, he was very sure if the gift was prepared by him himself. Well, even though he had to ask Ashan to arrange it so as not to attract Aishe too much attention.

Where did that bomb come from?

"Who prepared the gift? As I recall, Ashan is in charge!"

Ashan, who happened to be standing in front of the paramedics, immediately replied after Diego mentioned his name. "Yes, Sir. I remember very well everything numbered 26 boxes."

Diego frowned and thought for a moment. It was very impossible for Ashan to betray him. So, who?

"Actually, before coming here I prepared a gift. But when he was in front of the residential area, he saw your mother" said Rehan.

"Your mother suddenly left me a gift. I guess, you told me about this show, so Dad brought it in without hesitation."

Diego's eyes instantly flashed with anger. His lips thinned as he listened to Rehan's words.

"What is a box that is put in a red paper bag?" Guzel suddenly raised his head slightly, seeing everyone standing with a gloomy look.

"How do you know?" rehan asked a little sniffly.

"Because I opened it!"
