Mr. Secretary: Destiny Bound
CHAPTER 26 - MESSAGE

Akbar was telling Alif when Mami came. Hearing that someone was coming, the two of them stopped talking.

Upon seeing the Arini bed, Papi and Mami gasped. Mami looked at Linu at Arini who was being closed.

“This is still not human from earlier?” Papi staring at Indra, “Bram where?”

“Tadi is awake. This may be due to the influence of the drug,” Indra stared Arini, “Bramasta to the office. There is a problem with the vendor garment.”

“His family didn't come, Ndra?” Mami fixes Arini's blanket.

Indra shakes.

“He's an orphan, Mi. His family is only Alif and Akbar.”

“They where?” Mom stood up straight.

“On the side,” Indra pointed the limiting curtain.

“Why not just open the curtain, Ndra?” Papi cringing.

“Do Not Pi. Seeing his mother's condition, the children became sad. Especially Abay, he's scared. Fear of losing the Mother.”

“Ah.. It's absolutely outrageous for her ex-husband. They've been separated since how long anyway?”

“Two and a half years, Pi. And during that time, he was relieved of the responsibility of not giving a living to his children.”

“Civilized right!” Mami looks so furious.

Mommy moves to pull the curtain next to the bed Arini.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat.. What are you guys doing?”

“Wa’alaikumussalam.” Alif answered weakly.

“Tata. iwni. Nang was oblowl Abay shama Om Inda.” Akbar who was sitting on the bed Alif pointed at Mami with his thumb.

Mami smiled looking at Akbar.

“Hai Oma..” greet Alif trying to crucify Mami.

“Udah.. Alif do not need to wake up first,” Mami thrust her hand to diarimi Alif.

“Abay eyum.

Mami laughed and stroked Akbar's head. Pouring his hand which was directly crucified by Akbar.

“Alif his head still hurts?”

“Ngak Oma.”

“Mual no?”

“Ngak.”

“Oh yes, Oma bring milk pie. Abay told Oma, Brother Alif likes milk pie. Want to eat now?”

“Mau Oma.”

Mami came out of Alif's bed room. Take the box labeled bakery store.

“Pi, here. Look at those kids. Very sweet of them. Smart again. Ranch, Pi. Contact them.”

Papi looked at Indra with both eyebrows raised. A second later smiled broadly. Indra hid her smile.

“Halo.. Brother Alif, Sister Abay.” greet Papi.

“Kenalin, it's Opa. Opa Dhani,” Mami holding Papi's arm.

“Syayim Opa.” Akbar extended his hand.

The clueless Papi looked at Mami.

“Salim, said.” Mami translated Akbar's words.

Papi chuckles and thrusts his hand at Akbar and Alif.

“You were there when Opa and Oma came when there was no sound?”

“Mother said, if there are guests, Brother and Sister should not be noisy. Can't disturb guests who are chatting except when asked.” Alif explained while receiving milk pie from Mami.

“Your mundaes are amazing yes. The shot to you guys is really great,” Papi presses the remote bed so that Alif can sit while leaning.

“Nda mang eba's. Tata and Abay shayang to Nda.." Akbar bit his milk pie.

“What?” Papi looked confused.

“Mother is great. Brother and Abay very dear to Mother.” Mom translate.

“Kok Mami knows?” Papi looked at the astonishment.

“This is not know?” My mother asked back.

Indra brought her laptop near the Arini bed. He did his job, checking the reports coming in.

The sound of a stifled moan made him glance towards the bed. Arini's eyes blinked. Indra stood up and lowered her body in order to hear Arini's words.

“Teteh want to drink?”

Arini winks. Indra is offering a bottle of mineral water. Approaching his suction on Arini's lips to be sipped.

“Alif?”

“Alif is awake. Now eating cake with Abay. Accompanied by my parents.”

“Ma’af.”

“No need to ask ma’af Tea. Don't hesitate. Don't worry about the kids. God willing I will take good care of them.”

Mom pulls the curtain. Papi sees how his only child interacts with his mother Alif and Akbar.

The two of them approached Arini.

“Ehm.. I'm Kusumawardhani, Indra's papi. And this is my wife.” Papi introduced himself.

“I...,” Mami sounds stiff and sounds to keep her distance, “I mami Indra.”

Arini tried to smile. But his lips hurt. He frowned holding back his pain.

“Ma’af.. troublesome.” whispered Arini.

“His father Indra was told Hans about what happened and instantly picked me up at home to get here soon,” Mami was sitting in a chair near the bed.

“Hans?”

“Secretary Sanjaya Group. Papi works at Sanjaya Group,” Indra explained.

Indra straightened her body. Seeing Mami.

“Mami didn't say she was going to the hospital soon after chatting with Abay?” Indra smiled widely making Mami look at him with annoyance.

Papi shook his head towards Indra. Asking Indra not to upset Mami.

“Thank you.”

Mami nodded.

“Kakak Alif and Abay, both sweet and great kids.” Mami praised stiffly.

“Thank you..” Arini's voice sounds weak.

Arini looked at Indra.

“A..”

“Ya?” Indra moved her body to get closer.

“If anything happens to me.. I take the kids. I believe A Indra can educate them well. Please, don't let her father take their custody.”

“Eh?” Mami aghast.

“Ngak, Tea. Arini tea can't say that. Nothing will happen to you. It will be healthy again. No fractures, no internal bleeding. Just some bruised ribs. Insyaa Allah Teteh will recover,” Indra took a tissue and wiped the tears that came out from the corner of Arini's eyes.

“Mother cannot die!” Alif shouted as he sobbed from the curtain next door.

Akbar was crying.

“Abay itut Nda.._Abay with Mother.._”

Mami immediately stood up to the next bed in the foothills of Papi. They both calm the kids.

Mami held Abay while Papi hugged Alif who was crying as much as possible.

“Oma, isn't it true that Mother will die?” Alif who was hugged by Papi looked at Mami questioningly.

My eyes can no longer be compromised. His eyes were soaked with tears.

“Ngak.. Mommy will be healthy again,” Papi stroked Alif's back.

“Opa does not lie, right?”

“Tadi Opa has read the visa report made by doctor.”

“Abay tatut Nda.”

“Ngak.. Mommy will be healthy again after a break in the hospital,” Mami calms Akbar.

“Teh.” Indra advances the chair closer to the bed, “Stay strong and do not make children sad. OK?”

“Ma’af. I was just worried.”.

“Teh Arini should be strong. Don't be discouraged.”
