Osi and Rere's madam efforts to wake the Muslim women last night failed. Until Barnard returned to the room, they immediately resigned.
This morning, Barnard woke up next to a faithful Muslim woman who closed her eyes. Barnard smiled amusedly realizing for the first time he was lying in the same bed as a woman.
"Should I see his face?" Barnard's whisper in his heart.
Really all night he could not sleep well because it continued to be haunted by his own mind that ordered to see the face of the girl. Hugged his body and kissed his forehead. However, his heart forbade him to do such a deed to the girl who was still somewhat foreign to him.
This morning, his hand started touching the veil again, but then he paused immediately. To prevent something from happening in the morning, he got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom.
The Muslim opened his eyes. He just silently stared at the sky of the room painted the atmosphere of the clear sky during the day. Last night, the dark sky formed the night sky.
The Muslimah had been conscious since last night just as Bernard ordered Osi and Rere's madams out of the room. The Muslimah even opened her eyes to Barnard's back as he changed. Then, his eyes closed again as Barnard climbed into the bed and lay right next to him.
Muslims are terrified all night. He prayed for protection not to be touched by the foreign man who bought it for five times that price. Fortunately, Ima was not really touched. Ima only heard a few times the stranger muttered wanting to open his veil to see his face.
Of course Ima was very worried and scared. But, fortunately, God heard his prayer, so the man abandoned his intention to try to open his veil.
"Thank God, O Allah. You are still protecting me to this day." whispered Ima in her heart.
Barnard came out of the bathroom. He saw Ima's eyes open, but was immediately shut again as soon as he heard the sound of the bathroom door being closed again.
A scary grin was seen on Barnard's face. He approached Ima, sitting on the edge of her bed right beside Ima who he knew was just pura sleeping.
"I should just take off this girl's entire outfit.." Barnard murmured to scare Nakuti Ima.
His hand began to touch the arm of Ima's hand, then climbed onto Ima's shoulder and stopped on Ima's back. Her hands began to go into the scarf of Ima to find the zipper of her robe.
Ima held her breath, her forehead shriveled, her eyes closed as tightly as possible. Of course Barnard saw the girl's terrified expression. He also continued his keusillan.
"Ahh, I should have opened the face cover. Who knows his face is ugly. I wouldn't touch a ugly-faced girl." He said with a nosy smile.
His hand began to fill the veil over Ima's nose, slowly he pulled the cloth slowly…
"Don't!" Shrieking Ima, she immediately got up from her sitting position, inching away from Barnard.
"I'm just a ugly girl, sir. If you see my face, maybe you'll get unlucky." Ima said stammered with a hoarse and trembling voice. Both of his hands tightly held his veil in order not to slip from his face.
"Is that so?"
Ima nodded quickly and inched further and further away from Barnard, until he did not realize he was on the edge of the bed.
"Unfortunately I don't believe. I want to see your face.." Barnard's back to scare Nakuti Ima. He even shifted his seat about to approach Ima.
"Don't sir. I beg..."
"Too much money I spent just to buy a woman I couldn't even see her face. It feels really shitty." He looked at Ima with his devilish gaze.
Ima inched again, getting further back and finally…
Bbuuukkk…
"You okay?" Ask Barnard who held Ima's leg up to Ima's head not properly stung to the hard floor.
And actually the loud voice just now came from Barnard's body that poured into the surface of the mattress to reach Ima's hand, but it only grabbed Ima's ankle.
Ima's head drooped weakly there. Hanging to make him feel nauseous.
"You're gonna keep it that way?"
"Ti-no." said Ima while closing her eyes.
Huhhhhh…
Barnard pulls both of Ima's ankles towards her, until Ima's body returns to the bed. After making sure Ima was in a safe position, Barnard then stepped out of the room with only a towel wrapped around his waist.
When he opened the door, Barnard found that Osi and Rere were already standing at the door.
"Good morning, sir." Greet them while bowing their heads.
"Morning. You guys been here since?"
"Yes sir."
"Then, go to the city. Buy clothes for Muslims."
"Good sir."
"Oh yes, Rere. Do you know what kind of clothes you should buy for a Muslim?"
"Yes sir. I know."
"Yes, he's gone there."
Madam Osi and Rere were about to walk away.
"Wait!"
The second step came to a halt and they immediately turned their back to face their master.
"Do you have money to buy clothes?"
Moments later Osi and Rere sat at each other, then they flanged in unison.
"Then ask Don for money. Tell him I ordered you."
"Good sir."
This time the madams Osi and Rere really stepped away to meet Don, asking for money, then leave for the city accompanied by a driver who used to deliver Madam Osi when having to shop for kitchen needs every one month.
