My Annoying Chef's

My Annoying Chef's
Chapter 01's

The rain fell very heavily, accompanied by strong winds, and the glitter of reddish light continued to be seen, when lightning struck and caused a very thunderous sound, which was very loud, accompany a woman who is currently struggling in the kitchen area, with cooking ingredients and kitchen utensils.

A large bowl of white rice that still reflects warm smoke is placed on the dining table. Not to forget with a plate of chicken pieces steamed with some spices, where there are chives on it, with a delicious smell that is appetizing.

"Ginger steamed chicken is very suitable if eaten during cold weather like today." The girl who was familiarly called Farah explained to a friend who was there with her, sitting waiting at the dining table chair.

He smiled sweetly, then followed by sitting on the dining table chair, which had a size not too large.

"You're good at serving food. So your decision to take part in the biggest cooking contest in Indonesia has been very correct." Friends praised.

"Yes, but I'm nervous. What dishes will I bring to the Gallery!"

They grabbed each plate, filled it with the desired portion of rice, then added chicken wings that had just been cooked by Farah.

"You can cook all kinds of dishes. Believe me, you'll make it."

"Hemmm, .. pray for the jury to match my cooking later. But I'm a little afraid, mentally I'm not strong enough to hear the curse of the Jury who is already famous with his loud and muffled speech."

Farah scooped the rice and a little bit of meat, then stuffed ya into the mouth. The same thing his friend did until the two were silent for some time, enjoying the food that was served there.

"That's just a gimmick, a formality when you're in front of the camera. I think if the camera dies, he's good too!" Devi.

Farah merely gave a smile, nodded, and began to focus on the food before her.

For some time the situation became silent, only the clinking of the plate clashed with the spoon, interspersed with the rumbling sound of thunder, and the swiftness of the rain accompanied by the wind.

Meanwhile somewhere else.

A middle-aged woman sat on a large sofa in the middle room, staring straight at the flaming television, where she was seen advertising a large cooking competition show. And one of the judges will be the son, the man who is currently sitting next to him, staring at the phone screen while looking at photos on social media.

"The audition's already begun?"

"It has. And next week I should already be in Jakarta, .. I probably won't be home until the show's over." Clearly the man did not take his eyes off him at all.

"Are you that busy? And you can leave Mama with your sisters here? While the only man in this family is gonna be gone with a million of his busy lives?"

The handsome man named Loka Paramayoga took his eyes off the mobile screen there, looking at the face of the old woman who was currently sitting next to him fixedly.

"I just went to work Mam. There are Friska and Gwen who will accompany Mama here, ... or sometime you can come to Jakarta when they have a holiday to open a shop."

"Oh, you're not here!"

"Mom can see me on tv." Loka laughing.

"But only twice a week. Just Saturday and Sunday, .. While if you're at home, Mama can see you every day."

Loka inhaled her breath deeply, then exhaled her slowly. And he repeated it a few times until he felt relieved.

"Then how? Mama want me to cancel my contract?" He understood his mother's sorrow.

"It's not. If you are an artist, you will be busy. Even that busyness happened a few years ago, when you started to become a jury in that cooking contest!" Linda.

"I'm not an artist. I'm just a cook, who this time is trusted to be a Chef judge. And this is a rare offer." The man explained again.

"Yes, that's your goal, isn't it? Until I think about it and forget to do anything else. Like looking for a prospective life partner for example. This year you're 34 years old, Loka!"

Loka suddenly laughed loudly, making her the girl who had just arrived at her residence jump in shock.

"You're talking about this and you're laughing!" Linda grumbling.

One of her twin sisters replied, continued to walk closer and then patted her brother on the shoulder.

"Gwen!" The man screamed.

"Squeaky. Brother laughed, while the look on Mama's face looked grim! Wh why? Don't you want to be left behind by his bachelor son again?" Friska chimed in, with a slow throb.

"Yes, maybe you guys are not good at looking after Mama. Until Mama gets sad when I'm leaving."

The two 25-year-old women sat down to squeeze her mother and older brother, then embraced each other.

"Ah, .. if only your father were still around! He must be proud of every achievement you have achieved. Loka became a professional Chef, and you opened a business well, even more days your shop more and more visitors." Linda.

His voice sounded trembling, with eyes that looked teary.

"Papa's calm down there, Ma. It doesn't hurt anymore, so Mama has to be sincere! And should not be too restrictive Loka just for fear of losing back, Loka must be fine."

"good. But promise to take good care of yourself, stay away from unhealthy foods. Moreover instant coffee, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages!" Linda commemorates.

And the man who was meant to nod his head, embrace his mother's body very tightly, then kiss her forehead many times.

"We love Mama very much. Mama know no? We're worried that Mama keeps acting like this?" Friska.

He looked at the mother who was in the arms of his first brother's love.

"Don't make us feel useless." Gwen spoke up.

"No, no. You mean so much to Mama! It's just that Mama still can't accept that your Papa's gone, leaving us only four."

"We promised we'd be okay, didn't we? So come on, don't be sad anymore!" Loka.

They untied each other's arms, then stared at each other in turn.

"Sister? Let's make some good food for us. In the afternoon it seems good to eat spicy savory."

Loka seemed to think.

"Come on!" Gwen was a little whimpery.

"Yes yes. It's up to you! Even though in the store you also cook, then why not cook yourself?" He grumbled.

Loka got up from her seat, stepped foot towards the kitchen, grabbed the apron and put it on immediately. Making the two identical twin girls cheer with excitement.

"Yeah! Brother is the best." Shouted both at the same time.

"Get these of you. Even though Loka just finished zooming meeting, she might still be tired from thinking, but you've kept her busy again." Linda pinched both of her cheeks simultaneously.

"Not just zoom meeting. While we're busy serving the buyers." Friska.

"Why did you come home? Shouldn't your tavern be closed at nine?"

The room shouted from the kitchen.

"So we're still struggling, then what's the point of the employee? We just need to monitor, and the rest of them do." Friska said with pride.

While Linda just smiled while shaking her head. With a sense of unexpected, because children have grown up, and success in their respective fields.
