19. Start Feeling Something

After God. Rae lives alone with her husband. The woman was checking the file her husband had brought in for inspection before signing it. He looked nervous, his ears were red. I don't know why he felt Sammy was jealous.

"Can't you keep your distance from him" Sammy said suddenly.

"Huh what? Whatchu mean?" Rae doesn't understand.

"You told me to keep my distance from other women but you were close to another man. Isn't that unfair" said Sammy.

"Why, brother God and I are like brothers. You've been so weird since yesterday. Are you not jealous?" Rae smiled thinly.

"No! I'm not jealous. It's just that it doesn't feel right that you get too close to another guy like that. What do people say if they see it." Sammy turned his face red.

"No need to think about it. I know my limits. Unlike you who openly mingle with other women in public," Rae said. He went back to checking the files.

Sammy was flinched because this morning he was accidentally close to Karin but it was not on purpose.

"Sorry, I accidentally held her hand because she almost fell in front of me. Next time I'll be careful" said Sammy.

Rae only smiled faintly, not believing what Sammy said. Men are like that there can't be only one woman in his life. That's why he used to hate male beings.

After he finished signing the file he handed it to Sammy.

"What else?" ask Rae when Sammy won't leave.

"A little later at lunchtime, how about we eat together. Eating out or in the office."

Rae raised her eyebrows, astonished. Tumben once the men took the initiative. "Why suddenly invite lunch together," he said.

"It's okay, I just want to get to know you better. Isn't it good for our relationship to spend a lot of time together."

"Other times I was still full, God's brother brought me pizza and I ate it all out." Rae refused.

"Alright, then I'll excuse you." Somehow Sammy was very disappointed when Rae refused his invitation to have lunch together. But he also cannot force.

"It was so nice talking to that guy" Sammy said.

Rae shuddered at Sammy like that let alone his sharp eyes, because usually Sammy never showed such an attitude to him. He immediately broke away and tried to dodge.

"What do you mean, I don't understand."

"Didn't I say I want to get to know you better but you're always avoiding and busy with other men." Yes not only during the day because the Gods will also come at night. So Sammy hardly had time to just chat with his wife.

"It's just your feeling, I don't feel that way at all. And again the Lord's brother is only briefly in this country. He also has no relatives and no many friends, should I throw him out when he comes." Rae avoids her husband not because of God, actually she feels strange because lately she feels pounding every time she is close to her husband. Rae was of course surprised, she did not expect that her husband would think that way. In fact she dodges because she wants to be sure of her feelings and she is afraid of falling in love. Rae is afraid to give her heart to the man who is already her husband. In fact they married not for love, it is not impossible if one day her husband will meet the woman he loves.

"I don't feel that way, maybe it's just your feeling. I've been busy lately." Rae busied herself, trying to dodge again.

Sammy didn't give up, he needed to know where their relationship was going after this. If he wants to marry his wife once in a lifetime, he has to fight for her.

"I'm your husband, can't I be around you. Then why men who are nobody can be close to you. Or you still haven't accepted this marriage, Rae."

Rae looked into her husband's eyes, could it be that her actions had gone too far. But he has his own reasons.

"A--I .. I'm actually afraid of being close to you. Every time we get close together, my heart beats like it does now. It's so weird, I've only felt something like this before" Rae said.
