22. Sammy Wrong

Nearly an hour Sammy waited for his wife in the car. He didn't want to move until he saw his wife coming home. Fortunately the weather in not so cold, otherwise Sammy would have frozen for too long waiting. The man with black eyes always looked at the restaurant.

"How long would it be if it was just dinner. What they're talking about actually. Could it be that the man expressed his feelings for Rae, What if it turns out that Rae also has the same feelings." Sammy wonders what happened and imagines if they love each other. Then Sammy won't have another chance.

The man who had rolled his shirt up to the elbow was getting more unsettled. He wants to go in there and find out what happened. "I have to see it for myself" he murmured.

But just as he was about to open the door, the wife and the man named God were seen walking towards the exit. They looked friendly in Sammy's eyes. Rae, the wife also smiled very loosely when with the man. They looked so harmonious, their differences were also not so much like her and Rae who were like heaven and earth.

If anyone saw it they must have thought it was a couple. Could it be jealousy, the fear of loss and the fear of the wife feeling more comfortable with the man. Sammy hit the steering wheel, feeling helpless. When compared to that man, of course he was nothing.

"Thank you for having dinner with me, I hope my confession didn't make our relationship awkward. Be Rae, my sweet little brother" said the god.

"Yes, calm down. Although I feel guilty for not being able to reciprocate my brother's feelings but I'm glad you can understand. I also hope that Lord Brother does not avoid me because of that. We can still be friends as usual, right?"

"Of course, unless your husband doesn't make you happy. Then I'll come take you away."

"You take it easy brother, Papah must have acted first if it happened" said Rae with a smile.

"Let brother hold you for a moment." The god spread out his hands, leaving Rae with no other choice but to fulfill the man's last request.

I hope you can find a better woman than me, brother. And you can be happy with the woman you love.

At that moment, Sammy came and stopped his car in front of them. He came down to pick up his wife.

"It looks like you've already picked up," said the god.

Rae looked back and found her husband there. How could the man have been there, she did not feel she contacted her husband to pick him up.

"Can you go home now?" ask Sammy.

"Ah then I'll go home now brother. Thanks for dinner, don't forget to let me know when you're coming back tomorrow. I'll take you to the airport" Rae said.

"Yes, sure. Be careful on the road. "

Sammy opened the door for his wife. They haven't greeted each other, the situation is quite awkward. Rae was afraid that her husband misunderstood the farewell hug earlier.

In the car was quiet, neither Rae nor Sammy spoke. They were focused on the streets, but it felt like Rae could not stand it anymore and she needed to know why the man sitting next to her could suddenly be there right after she came out of the restaurant.

"Emm why did you suddenly come? You haven't been waiting for me since, have you" Rae guessed.

"No, I just happened to pass by after seeing Grandma in the hospital" Sammy replied.

What an absurd answer because the road to the hospital is clearly opposite to the direction to the restaurant. But Rae didn't discuss it any further.

"Will the man return to Japan tomorrow? Why doesn't he just stay here, isn't he already expressing his feelings."

Rae was very surprised to hear her husband say, how the man could know. Did he put a hearing aid on Rae. or a spy who followed the woman. Ah no, even in the restaurant earlier there was only Rae and the Gods because the Gods had already reserved that place specifically for dinner with Rae without anyone bothering.

Seeing the shock on Rae's face made Sammy sure that what he said was true.

"So are you guys dating now?"

"What's!! What do you mean, it's not gonna happen. I know my limits as a married woman" says Rae.

"Why, our marriage is even forced. Not because of love. Maybe that's why you put some distance to our relationship. Because in your heart is stored the name of another man," said Sammy.
