How defensive is it?

On Saturday night, as invited, Bryan and Shea prepare to attend an event at the Davis family-owned hotel. Wrapped in a satin long dress wrapped in brocade, Shea looks beautiful tonight. Sleeveless dress with satin ribbon decoration gives such an elegant look. Pieces that widen down also make Shea's stomach more comfortable.

"Why are you so beautiful?" asked Bryan who had just put on a tie.

Shea, who was still confirming her dress in front of the mirror, looked at Bryan from the mirror reflection and smiled. She immediately turned around when she saw her husband who was about to wear a tie. His hand grabbed from the one in Bryan's hand and wrapped it around Bryan's shirt collar.

"As the wife of a CEO I shouldn't embarrass you, right?" ask Shea.

"I really don't like going to parties like this."

Shea's eyes that were focused on pairing the tie turned to look at her husband. "Then what do you like?"

"Spend the night with you" said Bryan, burying his lips in Shea's neck.

"Can you shut up!" Shea who was wearing a tie on the collar of the shirt, difficulty when Bryan could not stand still and instead kissed her neck.

"Can we not go?" bryan asked whispering in Shea's ear.

Shea pushes Bryan's body to stand upright and he can pair a tie. "Can't!"

Bryan's lips chipped to find Shea's answer.

"Meeting with business associates is also important for a relationship, so don't be lazy to go to a party today. Moreover, you have worked with Davis Company, so at least show if you are a good business partner." Still busy putting on the tie, Shea said to Bryan.

"I feel like I have an advisor," teased Bryan landing a kiss on Shea's cheek.

"You really can't keep quiet!" Shea pushed Bryan's body and made him straight again.

Bryan just smiled ignoring his wife who was upset because of his actions. "Oh yeah, get there later, don't get close to Alex!" bryan said when he remembered the man whose name was in his wife's diary.

"Yes." Yeah." Shea herself was confused. Alex was the guy he knew from childhood, and it would be hard if he had to stay away. However, he did not want to ruin his harmony with Bryan.

"You don't want to warn me not to get close to Helena?"

"What am I warning you, if your natural alarm goes off near Helena." From what Shea saw, she already knew that her husband would not approach Helena.

"You!" Bryan was really worried about his wife. She hugs Shea and lands a kiss on Shea.

"Come on off! We'll be late."

"Yes." Yeah." Bryan released a hug from Shea's body. They got out of the room, and headed to the hotel where the Davis family was attending.

Arriving at the hotel where the event was, Bryan and Shea were a little confused when they found out that so many events were attended by invited guests. They both saw inside the hotel ballroom so many guests were present.

"I thought when your neighbor said there was going to be a party, I didn't expect it to be this big" Bryan turned to Shea.

"Yesterday we also forgot to ask, what is this event really?" Shea spoke with a small laugh.

Bryan gasped at his wife's words. "Yes too, I forgot to ask." Bryan is doomed to his folly of forgetting the question of what he and Shea came for.

As they were having a small laugh discussing their ignorance as to what came to the party, Alex walked towards them from a distance.

"Good night, Mr. Bryan" Alex said, extending his hand.

"Night, just call Bryan," said Bryan receiving a helping hand from Alex

"Okay, Bryan," Alex replied. He turned to Shea who was standing next to Bryan. "Hi, Se," she said.

"Hi, Brother." Shea greets Alex but she glances a little at Bryan.

Alex chuckled as he looked at Shea as if afraid to greet her. "Did your husband forbid to talk to me?"

Shea gasped at Alex's words. "Ti-dak," he said. Shea is forced to lie because she feels bad about Alex.

"It's good if not" said Alex smiling.

Bryan held back the rumble in his heart, it felt like he was really upset. However, she realizes Alex was once in Shea's life, and that would make it hard to resist talking to her

"Come! I'll introduce you to Mr. Davis." Alex switched the conversation.

Bryan and Shea nod and follow Alex to meet the host of the show.

"Sir Davis," call Alex.

"Yes, Lex." Davis looked at Alex.

"This is Bryan Adion." Alex introduced Bryan.

"Oh, who will be working on our hotel construction project outside the city?" ask Davis to make sure.

"Yes" Alex replied.

"It's nice to meet Mr. Davis" Bryan said, extending his hand.

"It's great that I can also meet you." Davis receives Bryan's hand. "I'm always happy when young people are in business."

"I'm still very new to the business world, sir, still a lot to learn from people like Mr. Davis, who are already experts in business."

Davis laughs. "Yes, I like people who want to try and learn" he said. Davis's eyes turned to Shea who was standing next to Bryan. "This is your wife?"

"Yes, sir, this is Shea, my wife." Bryan introduced his wife to Davis.

"Shea" Shea reached out.

"Davis." Davis extended his hand. His gaze turned to Shea's stomach. "How many months of pregnancy are you?" ask Davis.

"Five months, sir."

Davis smiled. "I can't wait to see Helena get pregnant like you."

"I'll get pregnant after getting the man I like." Helena's voice interrupts in the middle of Davis talking to Shea. He stepped over, his papa, Bryan, Shea, and Alex. "Hi, Bry," said Helena greeting Bryan. A sweet smile was drawn at the end of her lips.

"Why do you just say hello to Bryan?" ask Davis about his daughter.

Helena looked lazily at her papa who reprimanded her. "Hi, Se .... " Helena remembers Bryan's wife's name.

"Shea" answered Shea Bryan continuing the forgotten Helena.

"Yes" Helena answered Bryan. His eyes turned back on Shea. "Hi, Shea," she said.

"Hi, Helena."

"Look Lena, Shea is pregnant, get married! So you can give a grandchild to papa." Davis continued his words.

"I told you no, Pa, if I was going to give papa a grandchild after marrying the man of my choice" Helena said. His gaze was fixed on Bryan who was right in front of him.

"Papa is not sure of your choice, because your choice will definitely not be good for you" Davis said. Davis knows very well how his son's temperament is.

"Then, do you think papa's choice is good?" Helena was so lazy to follow her papa.

"Yes" Davis replied. He turned to Bryan and Shea. "I'm sorry to hear father and son talk" he said.

"You're right." Davis chuckled in response to Bryan's words. "Come, Bryan, I'll get you acquainted with my business partners, who knows you can work with them too."

Getting an offer from Davis was a big advantage for Bryan. As a great entrepreneur, Davis must have many business partners and they must be reliable in everything. However, Bryan hesitates to accept it, unable to leave Shea alone.

"Go, Honey! I'll be here with Helena." Shea who can guess the contents of Bryan's mind also gave permission. After all this is an opportunity for Shea to talk to Helena.

"Alright, don't go anywhere, and don't get away from me" Bryan told Shea. "Come, sir." Bryan turned to Davis. Walking with Davis and Alex, Bryan meets Davis' business partner.

"Well, it's very romantic for Bryan" said Helena shortly after Bryan left Shea with Helena.

"Don't praise people's husbands too much, because it will make you admire them." Shea was aware of his words. Because she had experienced it for Regan.

Helena laughing. "Are you scared, I admire your husband?"

"What am I afraid of, if he can keep himself from temptation."

Helena snorted with laughter. "We'll see how strong the defense will be."

Shea only shook her head when she heard Helena's threat. However, not yet finished himself answering Helena's words, Alex came to them. "Come, the show's about to start!" he said to Helena.

With an elegant step, Helena passed leaving Shea and Alex behind. He came forward to climb onto the podium with his papa, for an event introducing himself as the new CEO at Davis Company.

"Don't think of what he said." Alex's voice filled the silence a moment after Helena left.

"Son Alex hear?" shea looked at Alex.

"Yes," Alex replied, "I'll guarantee he won't disturb your household."

Shea smiled at Alex. "When will you protect me?"

"There's no stopping when a brother protects his sister" Alex said, "that's also if you still consider me a sister" he added. Alex's face looked disappointed as he spoke.

"Relse .... " She knows what makes Alex so disappointed.

"I'm actually disappointed in you, who disappeared suddenly and just sent me a message. Suddenly returned with the news of being married."

Shea realized her mistake. He who chooses to face all by himself does not tell anyone about his circumstances. Moreover, she had to marry because of pregnancy due to rape committed Bryan. "I'm sorry?"

"I wasn't sure about Bryan when I first met him, but seeing him love you so much, I became sure he would take care of you." Alex looked at Shea with a smile on his lips. "I wish my little brother was happy."

Shea was moved to hear Alex. After his parents were gone, only Alex was always there for him. However, for a moment he forgot about Alex because he did not want to make him know the situation. "Thank you."

Alex nodded. "I'll go ahead first" he said, and Shea nodded. Alex passed leaving Shea for the podium waiting for his boss.

"Speak what he is?" Bryan's voice suddenly sounded and made Shea so shocked. Bryan, who was talking to Davis' business partner, had to let his wife talk to Alex.

"She was just happy because I was married to someone who loved me so much" Shea said, wrapping her arms around Bryan's.

"really?" bryan asked, looking into Shea's eyeballs, looking for the truth from his wife's words.

"Do you think I like to lie?" Shea throttled her lips as Bryan doubted her.

"Yes, I believe it" Bryan replied, "don't be angry" he continued. He knew his wife would not lie to him.

Shea immediately smiled hearing Bryan persuade her. Actually he's not really mad. However, seeing Bryan panicking when he was angry, Shea was delighted.

While still waiting for the announcement event Helena who became CEO of Davis Company, Shea's eyes saw a cake neatly arranged on the table. "Darling, I want that" said Shea, looking at the cake on the table.

"But the show is not finished yet."

Shea was disappointed when her wish was not fulfilled. He who saw the cake so seemingly stirring made himself impatient to eat it.

Seeing his wife who wanted cake so much, it felt Bryan could not bear. However, seeing the number of invited guests so many and the average comes from the upper class, Bryan must be very embarrassed. "I'll ask the waiter, but don't eat here, okay?" he told Shea.

Shea's eyes sparkled at Bryan's reply. "Yes." Yeah." He nodded at Bryan's invitation.

Pulling his wife's hand, he took Shea behind a pillar. "Wait here, I'll ask the waiter." Bryan immediately went to look for a waiter. Until finally he met the waiter who was preparing food. "Excuse me," said Bryan reprimanding the waiter.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Can I have a cake, please" said Bryan.

"But the show hasn't started yet, sir." The waiter was confused by Bryan's request.

"Yes I know, but my wife is pregnant, and wants to eat cake." Bryan explained to the waiter.

The bewildered waitress had to allow it or not, until she finally met the senior servant first to convey Bryan's wishes. Finally the waiter picked up a box of cake, and gave it to Bryan.

Bryan is grateful that he got the cake for Shea. He came back to Shea who had been faithfully waiting for him. "Here," said Bryan showing off the cake he was carrying.

However, Shea felt bad when she had to eat in the midst of many people. "We eat in the car, yes" Shea said.

Seeing the person looking at him carrying a box filled with cake, Bryan thought what Shea said was true. He better eat in the car. "Come on!" Bryan gently pulled Shea's hand toward his car.

Arriving in the car, Shea immediately ate with ravenous cake brought by her husband. Bryan who saw his wife so greedily eating felt very happy.

"Do you want to?" shea asked Bryan for cake.

"Eat!"

When Bryan refused, Shea finally finished the cake brought by Bryan. Sweet cake always makes opium for him. She ignored her husband and focused on his food.

Ending the cake, Shea licked her finger that was hit by butter cream stuck to her fingers. "That's so, '" he said

Bryan could only shake his head because his wife could eat so much cake. "Then we go in again."

"Darling, I'm tired, can we just go home!" shea Pinta.

Realizing if Shea's condition is pregnant, it eases the feeling of tired whack. "alright. You wait here and I'll say goodbye to Mr. Davis."

"Yes" Shea replied with a nod.

Getting a nod from Shea, Bryan gets out of the car and heads into the show, to say goodbye to the show's owner. He did not want to be considered impolite, because he left without saying goodbye.
