30. Kenzi's Decision

One slap landed on Kenzi's cheek making the man's face turn to the left side. Abimana was very emotional when Kenzi hardened the voice in front of her. If remembered again after many years ago passed this is the first time his son taught this at least to him.
"How dare you raise the intonation of your voice in front of Papa! Is that the woman who influenced you?"
Abimana's voice was no less loud in that place, her eyes were red-lightened looking at the lack of teachings that Kenzi had just shown to her.
Kenzi smiled cynically, it was true that this was the first time he snapped at the papa. The corner of the lips that had only formed a smile now had let out a laugh. The man who was half the age of the father laughed in front of Abimana.

"Don't be stupid for one woman! Open your eyes wide, he just wants your treasure! Papa is sure he won't want to be in touch with you if you don't have anything, if you don't have any treasure! You must realize that!"
"Everything you say is wrong, my woman is not who you thought she was! He didn't even know I was Abimana's son, the owner of the school. I'm a rich kid who never gets the attention of his parents. Only he is sincere and always there when everyone is away from me including Papa and mama!!" Kenzi hitting the air was no longer able to hold back his emotions.
Abimana stared at her son. He tried to digest all the words of Kenzi Barata Abimana.
These two stubborn men raised sharp gazes at each other. Kenzi was relieved to have said what he wanted to say a long time ago. While Kenzi's speech made Abimana surprised to hear it.
"You know, you don't mean what you say. Go istrahat, Ken!"
Abimana patted Kenzi's cheek gently which he had tam par. "Let's just say we never talked about this" he said before stepping his feet away from Kenzi.
"I'm not kidding, Pa." Kenzi stopped his steps and followed him until they faced each other again. "Not always a treasure can make us happy, Pa. I hope this time papa no longer threatens me to seek and destroy his life, because I .. will never budge and remain silent again. That woman is too good to be hurt and destroyed. I won't spare anyone who bullies her including Papa...."
Kenzi grabbed the ring in his pants pocket and he placed it on Abimana's palm.
"I hope Papa understands and accepts my decision. I gave this ring back to Papa because Papa gave it to him. I don't want any drama about papa's chosen woman" Kenzi said without hesitation.
"You crazy, Ken?" Abimana looked at him in wonder. "Is that so special about that woman?"
"Actually ... Papa knows her, but Papa doesn't know that she's my lover whom I left because of Papa."
Abhimana frowned, his mind filled with questions as to when and where he knew the woman. What is one of his employees? When Abhimana wanted to ask further. Kenzi had already left from before him.
