My Cold Boss

My Cold Boss
Chapter 34

The next day, Aresh went to the office feeling more relieved than yesterday. After Aska relented for her, the huge burden that seemed to be squeezing her chest clearly reduced a lot.

"Secretary Ruby, get into my room right now" Aresh told me by phone.

Not long after, the girl entered her room with eyes fixed on the floor, not a bit Ruby would look straight ahead and look at Aresh's face.

Seeing this, Aresh thought of teasing the girl. "Secretary Ruby, did any of your things fall down and you're looking on the floor? Why do you keep your eyes on that?"

Ruby's facial expression remained flat. "Nothing, sir. What do you need to call me?"

Aresh smelled a smile as he took the file map on his desk and handed it to Ruby. "Take this and read it out loud. I want to hear you read the contents of the document."

As a subordinate of Aresh, Ruby also obeyed the man's wishes without suspecting in the least.

"Aresh Adiyaksa, I love you!"

"I love you too, Ruby Zivanna Larasati." Aresh smiled triumphantly.

While Ruby, the girl immediately put the file map on the table with a rough so upset because Aresh prank it.

"Very childish."

Ruby immediately turned her body to leave Aresh's room. But just a few steps up, Aresh suddenly pulled his wrist from behind then in an instant he was already in the arms of the man.

"Take it off." Ruby tried to push Aresh's chest, but unfortunately the man hugged his waist quite tightly. "I said let go, don't be rude," annoyed Ruby but Aresh just smiled while looking at her fixedly.

"You're so beautiful, Ruby. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Honored Mr. Aresh Adiyaksa, as the company leader of Adiyaksa Holdings, is not it you yourself who have made a rule in the company that fellow employees should not be in a relationship." Ruby said as she turned her face to the side, unwilling to look back at Aresh from a very close distance.

Aresh smiling. "Then what's wrong with that rule if we're both dating, hem?Take a good look at the sentence, fellow employees of Adiyaksa Holdings company should not be in a relationship. Am I an employee of a company I lead myself? No, right? I'm the boss, so the rules don't apply to me. What say?"

Ruby looked up at the man sharply. "Sneaky ground. Childish. Untie me. If you still want to continue to be disrespectful to me like this, I'll resign from this company."

Apparently Ruby's threat is quite powerful. Aresh quickly released his embrace from the girl. "Well, I'm not gonna fuck around anymore, touch you without permission."

Without saying another word, Ruby immediately turned her body about to leave Aresh's room. But before he could get out of there, Aresh held back his wrist.

"Wait a minute, Secretary Ruby."

"May I ask? What's the reason you didn't accept my love?"

Ruby did not answer. The girl was silent, like thinking of the right answer. "I ... I don't accept your love because .. because I don't love you."

Aresh also had a moment of silence listening to the reason for Ruby's refusal.

"Really just because of that? Not because yesterday me and Aska expressed love simultaneously?" ask Aresh to make sure.

"Hem," murmured Ruby.

"Then be prepared" said Aresh.

"Watch up for what?"

"Because from now on, I will do anything to make you fall in love with me."

Aresh came out of his room to invite Ruby to lunch together. But when he came out of his room, he did not find the girl on his desk.

"Where's he going?" Aresh muttered while trying to contact Ruby.

Elsewhere, in a restaurant. Ruby and Naura were sitting opposite each other at a table.

"Did Aresh call you?" naura asked when she saw Ruby's phone ringing.

Ruby nodded politely. "Yes, Auntie, Mr. Aresh called. Then excuse me for a moment, I want to answer the phone first," said Ruby while rising from her seat.

"No need," prevent Naura. "Sit again. Just ignore Aresh's phone, because Auntie wants to talk to you about something important."

Ruby then sat back in her chair as requested by Naura. "What's important, Auntie?" tanyanya.

"It's about Aresh."
