My Fantasy Hero's

My Fantasy Hero's
part 17: my childhood with him

"It turns out he has forgotten his past" Felix said as he looked up at the rain-watering sky. His gaze was blank, as if immersed in a distant memory.

Ten years ago, in a residential park...

"Eylla, what do you like?" ask Felix to the little Floey.

"I really like stars at night" said Floey cheerfully.

"Oh, yeah? Then, someday, I will show you a very beautiful star" Felix sincerely promised.

"What a fact, promise," said Floey as he fused their little fingers together.

"Felix, son, let's go home, please" call Felix's mother who approaches them.

"Bun, can we take Eylla home?" ask Felix politely.

"Oh, of course you can, come on, La," Felix's mother replied with a smile.

Arriving in front of Floey's house, a sound was heard from inside the house. Floey's mother came out with suitcases.

"You misunderstood" said one man.

"Misunderstand what? I saw clearly you were so friendly with that woman" Zeora said in a sharp tone.

Floey, who was only seven years old, could only fall silent. Zeora approached and said, "Eylla, come on, come with me." Zeora clasped Floey's little hand.

"Where are we going, Mom?" floey asked in confusion.

"We will stay at home where you can enjoy the beauty of the stars every night" Zeora replied in a soft voice.

"But why weren't you invited?" floey asked with a face full of worry.

"Hmm, baby, I'll catch up, come on," Zeora asked as she pulled Floey's hand.

That's a little short story about their past, where Floey was forced to part with his little friend in his hometown.

"Hmm, it's true that he should forget about it, because it will make his heart ache. But why is that all I can remember?" felix muttered as he walked towards the car.

"Come, sir, walk" Felix told his driver.

"Okay, sir," the driver answered kindly.

Arriving in front of Floey's house, he got off his wet motorbike.

"Haha, so much fun!" floey said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, it's exciting" Felix said with a smile.

"Ehhhh, what the hell is this? How wet is it?" zeora said while surprised to see their situation.

"Hehe, then, I say goodbye, Auntie," Kieran said as he drove the bike away.

"Well," said Floey, waving to Kieran who left.

"Udah! Come on, quickly enter the bath," Zeora said in a slightly irritated tone.

"Yes" replied Floey with a smile, and they rushed into the house.

🌃

At night in the residence of Felix's mansion, a drizzling rain spatter sounded melodious from outside. The soft sound of rain filled the room, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

"Felix, son, sleep well, it's late" said Auntie softly.

"Yes, Tan," Felix replied as he got up from the chair he was sitting in and went to his room.

In a comfortable, ash-colored nightgown, Felix laid his body on his soft bed. In the silence of the night, he felt sleepy and yawned tiredly. His mind began to fall asleep, and he entered into the world of his dreams.

Felix enters a very strange dream, where images of his past begin to open up. Memories he once forgot begin to haunt his dreams. He saw himself as small, running around merrily in the middle of a residential park, but memories that he never wanted to know began to appear where in the dream he saw himself and Floey and the woman called his mother was driving a car where it was raining.

"Mother! Don't go!" Felix is delirious in his sleep, awake by a dream that confuses him.

Felix saw his small, frail self lying in a hospital bed. On the side of his bed, there was his bundle, as well as Floey, his little friend lying in the emergency room. In a tinge of his dream, Felix sees his mother asking one of the nurses to give her the necklace that Felix wore to her.

Aunt Felix, who was passing in front of the room, heard Felix's delirious voice and immediately entered the room to check on his condition.

"Felix, get up" said Aunt Felix as she rubbed Felix's forehead with concern. "It's very hot, Brother Zergan, here." he shouted.

"Yes, for a minute" replied Zergan, the older brother, as he entered the room. "What's wrong?"

"Felix was delirious.he was very hot" said Aunt Felix in an anxious tone.

Zergan, also anxious, saw Felix's frail condition. He grabbed the thermometer on the side table and carefully stuck it on Felix's forehead.

"The temperature is high" whispered Zergan in a worried tone. "What should we do?"

Aunt Felix firmly took the decision. "Yaudah, we're taking him to the hospital. Maybe they can give you better help there."

There is no time to doubt. Father and Aunt Felix swiftly brought the frail Felix to the family car. The two of them carefully placed Felix in the back seat, closed the car door, and immediately began the journey to the hospital.

In the car, the tense atmosphere felt more and more real. Felix was lying in the back seat, his face pale and sweating. Felix's father drove the car quickly, crossing a road full of rain. The sound of heavy rain produced a sound that echoed inside the car, creating a silent but tense atmosphere.

Felix, between confusion and weakness, felt the vibrations of a fast-moving car. He grabbed the hand of Aunt Felix who was beside him, looking for warmth and strength in that grasp.

The trip to the hospital was prolonged, even though it was actually only a few minutes. After crossing the slippery path and being continuously chased by the sound of rain, they finally arrived at the hospital.

Felix's father immediately parked the car in a nearly full parking area. They got out of the car in a hurry, ran across the drizzle and into the main door of the hospital.

Inside the hospital, the atmosphere was different. The bright light from the ceiling lights illuminated the desolate hallways. An antiseptic smell poured out in the air, mixing with a tense silence.

Felix's father talked to medics who were ready to accept them.

"My son has a high fever and is delirious" Felix's father said in a trembling voice

The medics brought Felix to the emergency room in a wheelchair

Suddenly, in a semi-conscious state, Felix saw himself lying in a hospital bed. At her side, her mother sat with a face full of worry. Felix tried to reach his mother's hand, but the shadow disappeared so quickly like a bolt of lightning striking the sky.

in the ward, Felix was lying in a hospital bed. He still felt weak and his fever had not yet come down. He closed his eyes, trying to sleep, but his delirious voices kept bothering him.

"Well, why is Felix always delirious like that?" zergan asked with worry on his face.

The doctor replied gently, "Taste is a natural reaction of the body when facing a high fever. His mind may be trying to process the things he is experiencing. But don't worry, this is a common thing with patients."

Zergan was relieved to hear the doctor's explanation. He hopes Felix recovers soon and can play as usual.
