part 9: finding a prize

Time showed at 6 a.m., and Floey got out of bed with eyes still feeling sleepy. In his semi-conscious state, he immediately headed for the bathroom to clean himself up. After finishing, Floey went down to the dining room.

"if you've eaten, wash the dishes and mow the lawn in the yard" Zeora said as she stretched her steps toward the door.

"Aiya, I just remembered last night that mom threw her hanger into the yard. I have to hurry," Floey muttered inwardly.

After finishing eating and washing dishes, Floey immediately picked up the grass clippers and headed for the yard. He's trying to find the keychain his mother threw last night.

"Where the hell? Didn't you just throw it away?" Floey groped the grass anxiously. Suddenly, Zeora appeared and noticed him.

"Gapain you?" asked Zeora in a curious tone.

"Emm, another grass mow. It's really long here the grass, "Floey replied with a small smile, trying to hide his intentions.

"Yaudah, you will cut them there" Zeora said before going to the store.

Floey continued his duties carefully. After 10 minutes of searching, Floey found the keychain hidden in the bushes. He immediately picked it up and kept it in his pocket.

After finishing all the tasks his mother had given him, it was time for Floey to rest. He returned to his room happy and relieved.

Inside the room, Floey sat on the edge of the bed while thinking about something else. Her thoughts drift to Kieranza, a good friend of hers who is going to be birthday next month.

"Hmmm, how do I think of Kieranza?" Floey glanced at the calendar on the wall of her room. "Oh yeah, next month's her birthday. What gift do I give you?" muttered

Floey got out of bed and out of the house. He walked to a gift shop near his home. When he got there, Floey took a look at the various gifts available. However, what makes him amazed is a watch that is beautifully displayed in the display case.

"Woah, that's great!" floey cried in his heart.

"Hallo, can I help you?" greet a shopkeeper.

"Oh, or do you want to buy a best-seller watch here? Relax, even though the goods are best-sellers, but today we give a discount for you if you want to buy this watch now!" bargain shopkeeper.

"Floey paused for a moment, thinking of a gift for Kieranza. Finally, he asked, "Emm, how much does it cost, brother?"

"Only 500 thousand after the discount. Brother want to buy?" ask the shopkeeper kindly.

"Emm, no, it's only later if my friend's birthday, '" replied Floey hesitatingly.

"Oh, for the gift. Never mind, if his brother buys later, let me save the clock first afraid of hunting someone ordered," said the shopkeeper.

"Oh, yes. Thank you very much, sis," said Floey with a smile. He left the shop with a mixed mind.

In front of the house, Floey met his mother who looked curious.

"Where have you just come home from?" ask mother.

"Not from anywhere" Floey replied briefly.

"Yes, please anterin order. The address was already written here," his mother asked as she handed him a piece of paper.

"if I'm paid to deliver the order how's ma'am?" ask Floey.

"What will the money be?" ask her mother back.

"Emm, make a phone," replied Floey with anxious expectation.

"Have used my mother's phone, '" refused her mother.

"But, I also want to have my own phone" Floey lamented.

Floey fell silent, his speech was cut off just like that.

A few moments later,

"Welcome! Please sit!" greet Zeora to a new customer.

"Felix!" floey exclaimed with an awkward face then gawked away.

"Oh, you son! Please, what message would you like?" greet Zeora kindly to the customer.

After finishing delivering the order, Floey felt like taking a short walk while looking at the job vacancies. While passing through the cafe he had visited last night, Floey saw an announcement on the cafe door.

Looking for part-time job. Contact the cafe management, it says in the announcement.

"Well, I just found out here open a job vacancy," Floey muttered inwardly. He went into the cafe and asked one of the officers.

"Excuse me, sis! Is it really necessary for a part-time employee?" ask Floey.

"Oh, that's right. Go straight to the cafe management. Come on, let me drop you off" replied the employee kindly.

Floey followed the employee to the cafe management room. When he arrives, Floey is introduced to a man who appears to be the manager.

"Sir, someone is applying for a job!" greet the officer.

"Oh, yes. Have seat. You can go back to your job, "welcome the manager.

The attendant immediately left Floey in the room.

"You were last night with Felix?" ask manager.

"Yes, my name is Floreylla" replied Floey.

"Florella!" the man wandered for a moment.

"Sir, sir!" call Floey to break the manager's daydream.

"Huh, huh?" surprised by the manager.

"You I'm taking the job?" ask Floey in disbelief.

"Huh, which is true? Sir, is this serious?" Floey still had a hard time believing it.

"Yes, you work on Saturdays, Sundays, and every red date. You're still in school, right?" ask manager.

"Yes, sir, still. What do you do now, sir?" asked Floey excitedly.

"Now it's going to be late in the afternoon, you should start working next week only" the manager suggested.

"Oh, so yes, sir. Thank you very much, sir! Excuse me" said Floey with a happy smile.

"Yes, please" the manager replied.

Floey left the room with a hopeful heart. However, before actually leaving, the manager said,

"Is he really my son?"
