S2. Grief

"For a long time we did not gather like this" Nathan said as he sipped his cigarette, staring at his three twin brothers one by one.


That night Four J and his wives gather in the backyard, throwing a barbeque party to celebrate their reunion. While Xander and Jeje were in their midst, along with Oma Airin who was sitting in a wheelchair while looking at her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a very happy feeling. Wishing to be given a longer life so that he could continue to witness that happiness. His age, which has reached 90 years more, becomes his own blessing for him and his family.


Oma Airin who is always energetic and super gesrek is now no longer visible, both legs can not be able to walk, and can only sit in a wheelchair.


"Oma want meat?" ask Zahra to Oma Airin while holding a vulnerable hand and full of wrinkles.


Oma Airin shook her head slowly while smiling faintly. "Oma has no teeth" replied Oma Airin accompanied by a gentle smile.


"It's okay, don't worry Oma, I'll cut the meat until the small qgar Oma can swallow it without chewing again. Stay here, I'll be back" said Zahra, then peeked at Oma Airin's wrinkled cheek.


Zahra approached Melisa and asked for some pieces of cooked meat, then she cut them into very small pieces.


"Come, open Oma's mouth .." pinta Zahra as she feeds the meat piece to the front of Oma Airin's mouth with a tablespoon.


Oma Airin took a bribe from Zahra with pleasure and also full of money.


"Nobody?" Zahra asked as she rounded her eyes looking extremely adorable.


"Very good, thank you dear Zahra," said Oma Airin with a full heart as she rubbed the little girl's head gently.


"Sama-sama Oma, I love Oma," Zahra said sincerely and hugged Oma Airin tightly.


Everyone who was there stared intently at Zahra and Oma Airin's interaction.


"She loves Oma very much" Melisa said as she shrunk the corner of her watery eyes.


"Hey, why is my heart so sad." Melisa suddenly sobbed and then drowned her face in the chest of her husband's field.


"Dear." Ansel rubbed his wife's trembling back, signalling that Melisa was holding back a cry in her arms.


"I was afraid of losing Oma" Melisa said in a voice that did not sound so clear, as she submerged her face in the chest of Ansel's field.


Ansel tightened his embrace, while gently patting his wife's shoulder, while peeping Melisa's head with affection. He will not be able to lose Oma Airin, but all by the power of God. There is birth there must be death, there is happiness there must be sadness, there is meeting and there must be separation. Everything has become a destiny and no one can change it.


"What's wrong?" Jeje became worried when she saw one of her daughters-in-law sad. "You hurt my daughter-in-law?!" Omel Jeje to Ansel while tracing his waist.


"No Mom! Melisa is being sensitive lately" Ansel replied while rubbing his wife's back that is still sobbing in his arms.


Everyone who was there instantly realized and understood what Melisa was feeling. All eyes stared at Oma Airin who was cool to enjoy the roast meat that was fed by Zahra. And their hearts all became very sad and moved, thinking what if Oma Airin left them all for good?


Especially Xander who secretly cries every night when he imagines losing his mother forever.
