Gwen wept bitterly when she learned of her newborn daughter's condition in that world. "It's all my fault" said Gwen, who has since blamed herself.
"If I had listened to you then, things wouldn't have been like this. I was a cruel mother for making my daughter disabled" Gwen said with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Gwen has happened. We will all try our best to make our daughter hear normal again" Aiden said with a very broken feeling as he hugged his wife tightly.
Gwen nodded softly behind the husband's embrace. The new old man's heart was broken like it was in shreds, how not? They have to accept the fact that their newborn daughter has to lose her hearing.
It was not only Gwen and Aiden who were feeling sad and devastated, but both the Clark Family and Emanuel felt the same way.
Sad indeed, but they all have to accept a reality that is very painful.
Sean and Irene just came and entered Gwen's ward in a hurry. "What's going on?" Irene and Sean asked Xander and Jeje at the same time, as they saw Gwen crying in Aiden's arms.
Xander sighed harshly, then explained everything that had happened to his son and daughter-in-law. "You should take good care of your wife, Se. Don't let this happen to you again" said Xander, rubbing his face with a huff.
Sean immediately summarized his wife's shoulders tightly, rubbing her distended stomach. They were both very surprised when they heard Xander's explanation.
"I will always look after my wife, Dad," Sean replied to his father.
Nue and Arjuna sat on the sofa of the room until they could not say anything, but they would try to be sincere if the tiny newborn baby had the disadvantage of not being able to hear.
"Don't cry anymore, your child is hungry and thirsty" Fika told her daughter.
Gwen broke her arms and looked at her baby who was in her mother's arms. Then Gwen spread out her arms, ready to breastfeed her baby right then and there.
Gwen spread her gaze, looking one by one at the men in the room.
"We're going out" said Sean, as if understanding how his sister-in-law felt. Then all the men in the room came out except Aiden.
After all the men who were there came out of the room, Gwen breastfed the baby.
"She's beautiful like you, Gwen," Aiden said as he looked at his daughter who was so greedy to suck out her food source.
"Yes, she's beautiful" Gwen replied as she shed her tears, but she quickly wiped away the tears.
"Do you already have a name for this cute, pretty and adorable baby?" Irene asked Gwen.
"Anaya, what a great name, right? Anaya Aurora Clark, "Aiden replied without taking her eyes off her beautiful daughter.
"A very nice name and also a beautiful one" replied Gwen, then kissed her daughter's forehead affectionately.
"He will bring happiness to all of us" Irene said, echoed by Jeje and Fika.
"Don't be sad again Gwen, Aiden. You should be grateful for having a very beautiful daughter like Anaya" Jeje told her son and daughter-in-law.
"Yes, Mom," Aiden and Gwen replied simultaneously.
