Peak Happiness

“What gives birth?”

“Iya,” reply Keisha.

Reagan was silent, not knowing what to do. He was confused himself not knowing what to do.

“Why the night is silent, let's go to the hospital,” pinta Keisha with her upset tone.

Reagan agreed.

“The equipment is in the suitcase please bring ya,” pinta Keisha. He endured the back pain.

Reagan immediately went into Keisha's room and picked up the suitcase. “Come,” Invite Reagan.

Keisha walked slowly while enduring the pain.

Reagan had gotten to the front but seeing no signs of Keisha, he immediately returned inside. He carried Keisha's body into his lap and walked towards the car. Reagan slowly sat Keisha in the car seat. Then he got around the car and sat in the steering wheel.

Reagan began to drive forward his car, occasionally glancing at the moaning Keisha. “Contact Areliano,” says Reagan.

Keisha pulled out her phone but the pain in her stomach came back. The pain was more than before until he unconsciously held Reagan's hand firmly.

Reagan's driving hand lost focus due to Keisha's tight grip. ‘What's that sick?’ inner Reagan without daring to ask.

The pain in her stomach began to subside, Keisha again pulled her hand. “Sorry yes,” says Keisha feels bad.

“Nothing,” replied Reagan. He saw his former hand in Keisha's hold slightly reddened.

Keisha immediately contacted Areliano. “Honey,” call Keisha as soon as the phone line is connected.

[What's up, kangen huh?]

Keisha could imagine the face of Areliano. “I want to give you good news. I felt it contracting and now I am heading to the hospital,” Keisha replied. The feeling of the harbour was very felt, he and Areliano were impatient to wait for the birth of the baby.

[Who are you going to the hospital with, honey? Why not wait for me.]

“Together Reagan.” Keisha felt a little guilty hearing Areliano's slightly changed soft tone. But he also did not want to lie.

[Why is Reagan home? Did you call her on purpose?]

Reagan who saw Keisha in pain immediately took over his phone and spoke directly to Areliano. “Have not talked much, quickly follow us to the hospital,” said Reagan then turn off his phone connection. Once the green street light Reagan immediately stuck the gas pedal to get to the hospital immediately.

At the hospital Keisha is taken to the delivery room and receives several examinations. Areliano who did not come to make Reagan accompany Keisha in the delivery room. The nurses began to prepare all the necessities for labor. While Reagan sat with Keisha who was struggling to handle the feeling of contraction. Although she has no special feelings for Keisha, seeing Keisha moaning in pain makes her feel sorry. He helped hold Keisha's hand.

Keisha glanced towards Reagan as she felt a grip. His panic and worry faded a little, now he feels accompanied in times of difficulty. Keisha's lips smiled sincerely towards Reagan.

Reagan looked at his hand held tightly by Keisha.

“We check the opening yes,” said the nurse who helped deliver.

Reagan did not pay much attention to what the sisters did, but seeing the look on Keisha's face that showed pain made Reagan a little horrified.

“The opening is complete, start straining ya bu,” said sister.

The doctor who had finished preparing began to stand at Keisha's feet with the other two nurses.

Keisha was already unconcerned about anything else, which she thought was currently focused on bringing her child into the world.

The pain Keisha felt for the sake of giving birth to a child simply vanished when she heard the sound of a baby crying.

Reagan who accompanied the process of giving birth to keisha from beginning to end made his face deathly pale. Keisha's struggle was extraordinary for Reagan. There was a sense of pleasure in Reagan when he heard the sound of baby crying, but seeing how messed up Keisha made guilt appear in Reagan's heart.

Areliano walked into the delivery room with a surprised face when he saw the baby who was bathed by the nurse. While he looked towards Keisha who was lying weakly. The sisters were busy cleaning up some of the blood that was splattered.

Areliano's feet moved closer to Keisha. He stood next to his wife. Areliano's hand stroked Keisha's cheek. “I'm sorry I didn't accompany you fighting to give birth to our child,” said Areliano with his guilt.

“My son too,” chirps Reagan. He did not accept being ignored, even though he struggled from the beginning while Areliano only came when everything was finished.

Areliano stared cynically at Reagan.

Not wanting to cause a commotion Keisha chose to mediate. “Do not like that dear. Reagan is also entitled to his son and he is already responsible as a prospective father,” Keisha smiled. He coded Areliano to look at Reagan.

Areliano held a smile when he saw Reagan's usual neat hair was now a mess like being hit by the wind*****pick. Not to mention the crumpled Reagan shirt and his buttons were lost to nowhere making himself look very chaotic.

Reagan actually wanted to be angry when Areliano smiled, not knowing he was like his wife clawing to and fro and Reagan was an easy target for Keisha to channel her pain. “Don't laugh at me, should you thank me for replacing your duty.”

The doctor held the baby and approached Keisha. “Congratulations Sir, Ma'am your boys.”
