18. ATC Officer's Sacrifice

After landing at Tokyo Kokusai Kuko International Airport, they find the oddity, the airport is very quiet, and there are only a few people on the watchtower (ATC) who are like giving a signal using a lamp fired down and say S.O.S which means they need help

"Something seems to be going on here, too? don't tell me that plague has also come here?!!" Said Haruto with a face full of question marks

"Rather than a lot of mending nonsense we immediately go up and save them!" Fumiya

But when they were about to open the plane door, they were surprised by a horde of zombies trapped inside the airport

"Guy! lookie!" Said Sulyoon while pointing to one of the gate (door to the plane) of the airport

"What the fuck????!!!!" Gaeul half-believed that there were so many zombies trapped inside the airport

"It looks like we can't go up there to save the ATC crew" Fumiya said in a desperate tone

"It can!" Haruto said that he immediately closed the door and then returned the steering wheel and activated the horizontal vertical mode that makes the plane take off vertically aka fly up slowly and straight up

"What are you doing? flying the plane in vertical upward mode?" Fumiya asked half in disbelief

"Yes! why then?" Ask back Haruto who focuses on the wheel

"You sure you can save them?" Ask Fumiya again

"Sure! they have helped us to land at this airport, without them we would not know what is going on here" Haruto replied with a spell

"That's my sister!" Reply Fumiya while ruffling Haruto's hair and then sitting on the co-pilot's chair

"Let's hurry!" Gaeul said that the three ATC officers grabbed the rope

"Quick! before they (the zombies) climb to the top of the tower!" Connect Sulyoon

The three officers nodded, however, but one of them suddenly realized something that if they went to leave the ATC tower it would make the planes that pass or will land will not know what is going on in the the airport, then one of the ATC officers said something to his colleagues

"I don't think I can come" said Officer 1

"Why? do you want to be stuck here forever? and be a part of them (the zombies)?" Ask Officer 2

"Of course not! but I will continue to serve in this tower, in order to tell every passing or landing aircraft to get away from the surrounding area immediately, for their safety!" Answer officer 1

Both of his colleagues were immediately stunned for a moment, they finally understood something, namely about their true task, which was, they are tasked with regulating air traffic and providing direction to every passing or landing aircraft so that all flights can pass safely and safely

"It seems like what you said is true! then I'll stay with you! after all, there are still 2 planes that will pass near here, and we will manage the traffic of these planes!" Said Officer 3 and Officer 1 nodded then looked at the face of officer 2

"Then I'll go with you guys, besides if we go who's going to manage air traffic for the last time, right?" Officer 2 smiled

So the 2 officers gave the code so that the rope was raised again and they did not leave the ATC watchtower, Gaeul and Sulyoon were confused by them
