Daniel smiled then began to recount the fateful events that had befallen him. While Evan faithfully listened to the story of his best friend.

"Yesterday night I dreamed of talking to Ze, the geeky girl!" said Daniel smiled wryly while imagining the figure of Ze who he thought was geeky and geeky.

"Ck!" Evan rants when Daniel calls Ze a geeky girl. "You're wrong, Daniel! The ugly duckling that we often make jokes, has now turned into a beautiful goose," interrupted Evan with a lazy face staring at his best friend.

Daniel laughed softly while enduring the pain all over his body. He thought what Evan had said just now was just an ordinary joke, just like they used to do.

"Huh, your laugh feels crisp, Evan!" saith.

"Whatever if you don't believe it!" Evan threw his face away.

"Hey, we're talking about the accident that happened to me, aren't we? Why even talk about that geeky girl?" Daniel bent his face annoyed because the story was cut because of discussing the problem of Ze, the geeky girl.

"Yes-yes, okay. Now go on with your story" said Evan.

Daniel looked back and tried to remember his dream that night. "In my dream, Ze said that soon I would get the punishment I deserved for all my actions. However, instead of being afraid, I laughed at the girl. I was stunned because I thought what the girl said sounded funny, very funny. Even until I woke up from my sleep, I was still laughing."

Evan, who was just silent with a flat expression, now looks very enthusiastic listening to Daniel's story. "Then what's the connection between your weird dream and the accident that's happening to you right now?" evan asked seriously looking at Daniel.

"Let me continue my story first, Van!" upset Daniel. "So, after having that weird dream, I've been a fool all day. The shadow of Ze's flat face as he said that continued to flash through my head. Even I memorized what the geeky girl said" Daniel said.

Evan was silent. He didn't want to interrupt his friend's words anymore. While Daniel again remembered the fateful incident, where he had the accident.

"Because all day I felt like I was crazy, I finally decided to go for a walk. The plan is I want to visit the cafe where we used to hang out. Well, on the way to the Cafe, I suddenly thought back to the words that Ze said in my dream last night and it made me lose control of my car. I tried to step on the brakes, but the bad thing was that the brakes were blong and finally there was an accident," said Daniel, watching his accomplices who were also filled with bandages.

"Lucky you don't-" Evan said, Daniel has cut the conversation off with a sad face.

"Yes, lucky I didn't die, Evan. But ..." Daniel fell silent and looked at his feet which from the accident until now still could not be moved.

"I don't know for sure. Doctor said, look at the progress in a few more days and hopefully it's only temporary." Daniel's face returned low. He was afraid that his feet would continue like that. That means he's going to be a disabled man and he doesn't want that.

"You'll be fine, Daniel! Rest assured," said Evan who tried to cheer Daniel's mood at the time.

"Yes, I hope."

For a moment, the room became quiet. Both Daniel and Evan were silent in their respective minds. However, after a while, Daniel reopened his voice.

"Evan, are you also thinking about what I'm thinking right now?" continued Daniel.

"What?" evan asked with a confused face.

"Either why do I feel that what Ze said in my dream is true. This is karma for what I did to him" Daniel said.

Evan smiled thinly. "Ah, no way! It's just your mind" he said.

"Try thinking, Evan. Only a short time ago Aldi was devastated. He was suddenly abandoned by his future wife until finally he was depressed. Even now he still cannot be contacted. And now, look what happened to me! I think it has something to do with what we did to Ze" Daniel continued.

Evan smiled wryly while thinking about his fate. If what Daniel says is true, it means that he is left with no reward for what they did to Ze.

"Don't try to scare me, Daniel. Don't tell me it's time for karma to come to me" Evan said.

"I'm not scaring you, Van. I just want you to be more careful" replied Daniel.

"Hmm, I hope not."
