Who Is Deserving?

"So Mr. Reza asked you what?" Danesh asked Calista when they had just finished dinner.

Calista looked at her husband's face with a frown. How could her husband know if Reza asked her something?

"Cal, why shut up?"

"Agh, yeah. Reza asked about our status. He asked if we were married."

Danesh nodded his head. A slanted smile was imprinted on his face.

"How did you know? Did he see you earlier?" Guess Calista.

Danesh nodded without any burden and then told Reza the purpose of coming to him earlier. Danesh also tells what he did to make Reza finally leave.

Calista smiles realizing what makes Reza can know his status with Danesh. "Aren't you afraid that Reza will spread our status?"

Danesh shrugged both of his shoulders. "What am I afraid of. Is there something wrong with getting married? Our status is valid in the eyes of law and religion."

"But what about your job? You could get fired if the office finds out you're married." Calista was a little worried about her husband's work.

"I don't care anymore. There's still a lot of work I can take on if my recovery is cut off there. As long as we are alive, we do not have to pollute the question of sustenance. We are only asked to try and pray. Let the rest be God's will."

Calista's eyes glazed over at her husband's words. He was always amazed by the maturity of Danesh in facing a problem.

"Then what about you? Do you feel heavy-hearted if our marriage is known to the people of the college?"

Both corners of Danesh's lips were perfectly raised. There is nothing happier for him at this time than his wife always being around him and supporting all the decisions that are best for them.

Danesh and Calista increasingly show closeness between them after the two agreed to no longer hide their marital status. Audrey who saw the closeness of the two was made to burn jealous because Danesh was getting sticky with Calista even though he had several times he tried to demonize Calista through a photo message that he sent to Danesh.

"Mum Calista wait!" Audrey impudently stopped the walking Calista by stretching out her hands in front of Calista.

"What the fuck is this Audrey?" Calista felt furious. He was so lazy to serve this woman named Audrey.

"Can't you keep your distance from Danesh? I've said before that Danesh and I haven't broken up. But why does Mom shamelessly always try to get close to him?!" Grumpy Audrey.

"Didn't you have the courtesy to act like this, Audrey?" Ask Calista. Her normally calm face now turned sharply staring at Audrey.

"I acted this way because Mom never heeded my words. I should know who Mom is and who Danesh is. Mom and Danesh are so far apart and I should realize that Danesh is no match for Mom!"

"Oh so. Who is the woman who deserves my husband, what are you?" Ask Calista.

"What did you say, su-husband?" Rework Audrey.

"Yes, Danesh is my husband and you don't deserve to be like this to me. Should you know Audrey, I could have gotten you out of this college right now!"
