Al & Shera Chapter 3

“You have to look handsome this time,” said Mommy Selly confirmed the shirt worn Al. 

What parents do not like their children to marry. Surely all parents feel happy. This is what Mommy Selly feels. He feels happy when his only child will release the single period. 

“I'm already handsome, Mom. No need to overstate.” Al smiles at her mommy. It feels weird to be perfect. Because he thinks this is just an ordinary proposal. 

“You're like daddy, insensitive. Women will be awed if we look cool.” 

Al could only resign when his mommy protested. Then smile thinly. Letting your mom do anything. 

Got yourself ready, Al's out. He's outside there's a lot of people. Actually, Al did not want many people who came, but what can be done, all want to accompany him. There's his grandparents, there's both his mommy and daddy. And do not forget to miss is papa and mama Freya. 

“Look, no wind no rain, he immediately proposed. It's amazing your son, Brother.” Papa Felix embraces Al's shoulder while looking at Daddy Regan. 

Daddy Regan can only smile. He himself did not know when his son was close. All he knows is that his son suddenly asks him to propose to a girl. 

“I told you a long time ago, you guys are a good fit. After this Hotel Maxton Hotel W (double U) will be one. It is inconceivable how big the hotel will be.”  Papa Felix laughed as he recalled his former words.

“Hotel problems can follow, the most important heart problems first.” Daddy Bryan is chiming in. “You really like Shera ‘right?” ask the daddy. 

“I like.” Al heard her answer.

“Good, then. Because marriage needs love.”

Al could only nod. 

Once everything is ready. They drive each other's cars to Shera's house. There are about three cars. Al was in the car with his mommy and daddy. The second car was Daddy Bryan, Mommy Shea. Mama Chika and Papa Felix. The last car was a car that contained their grandparents. They all hope the show goes well.

In front of the mirror Shera saw the look of his face. It's too bad to have to dress up for an event that she herself doesn't understand. It felt like he wanted to strangle Al for suddenly proposing to her. 

“Actually he was possessed by what to propose to me?” Shera exhaled. Very sorry about Al. There were so many unanswered questions in his head, and only Al could answer them. 

“Before the event, I should talk to him first.” Shera was determined that she would talk to Al, not until it happened.  

The sound of knocking on the door, diverted Shera who was engrossed with her irritation. The mother's head poked out from behind the door. “Camus is ready?” ask Mama Stella. 

“Already, Ma.” 

“Mama is so happy you finally got married.” 

“Ma, I don't know him. How can I get married?” Shera looked at her mother's face from the reflection of the mirror. He was protesting who was not ready to get married. 

“The most important thing is that he loves you. That's enough.” Mama Stella stroked Shera's soft shoulder. “Because when we are loved, we will feel very meaningful.”

“Tapi—”

“Already. What do you want to look for again? He's a good, established man.  Love problems, let love present itself.” Mama Stella tried to convince her daughter. 

It feels free Shera arguing with her mother. As a parent, she would want her child to get married. However, if it chooses, Shera does not want to be with Al. He was the cold man he had ever known. He remembered so if his meeting did not work out anything. 

The meeting that Shera remembered was when Shera took his car brought by Al. When meeting Al's attitude was so cold and it became the first impression Shera met Al. 

“Ma ...,” call Retta.  

Mama Stela and Shera turned their heads when they heard the sound. 

“Boy candidate Kak Shera has arrived.” 

Hearing that, Shera exhaled her breath. He can't escape anymore. I don't want him to have to live it. 

Accompanied by her mother, Shera headed to the living room. Meet the Al family who have come. His heart is so thumping. Still in disbelief if today, she would be proposed. 

In the living room, the Al family sees the beautiful Shera. They praised Shera for being part of their family. 

“Beauty once our daughter-in-law's candidate.” Melisa's grandmother who couldn't stand to praise her.

Shera looked towards the sound. Looking at a beautiful grandmother who praised him just now. Beside him were many middle-aged women. He only knows two, namely mommy from Al, because he had met while taking a car and another mommy from El because he had met at El's wedding. 

Sitting between his father and mother, Shera stared fixedly at Al who was sitting in front of him. He was still upset to see Al's face. Want to invite Al to talk first at that time, but have not gotten a gap. 

“It seems like no need for pleasantries,” said Daddy Regan started. “My family and I came here to say if we want to propose to Mr. Sean's daughter named Shera for our son Al.”  Daddy Regan immediately conveyed his intentions. 

Papa Sean and Mama Stella looked at each other. “We have heard directly from your son and we are happy that you and your family have come to propose. We are happy to receive this proposal.” 

Shera should not be surprised if her papa will accept, but still like a lightning strike when she hears her papa speak and accepts her proposal. 

“We are very happy. Hear it.” Daddy Regan smiled and was greeted with a smile by the others. 

“To tie the two together, the plan is we want to hold the engagement first. While setting up everything.” Daddy Regan explains.

“We don't care if an engagement is held. We just specify when the event will be held.” Papa Sean agrees with the idea given by the Al family. 

“What if three more? Seems not too long and not too fast.” Daddy Regan stared one at a time at his family, especially Al. 

“I agree.” Strictly, Al answered the question from his daddy. 

Why is he just playing agree? Shera is getting upset with Al. “Can I talk to Aaron first?” Suddenly Shera's voice sounded. Make all eyes on Shera. 

Everyone's surprised. Papa Sean had nudged Shera's body, giving the code not to do so, but the child did not care. 

“Because I just came home from abroad. So we haven't had time to discuss about when the engagement was, so let us talk for a minute.” Shera stared expectantly. 

Hearing a request from Shera, Daddy Regan replied, “talk, Son. Maybe you guys have a good time for engagement.” 

“Or maybe want to speed up the engagement,” chimpanzee Papa Felix teases.

Shera. His intention was not that, but he did not dare to say that. He could only show a smile. Then stand. Al is behind him.
