"Why are you here?" ask Dion.
"Can't I visit my Papa?" Reyhan.
"I'm your best friend. Can't you go see me?" connect Diki.
"It's not. You guys aren't busy, what?" Dion got up from his big chair, then moved to the sofa where Reyhan and Diki were sitting.
"There's an invitation to our high school reunion. All forces, lo. Follow, yuk!" bring Diki.
Dion nodded, "Reuni is just a place to find trouble. There's a demon that's gonna seduce every couple."
"Depends on people, Dion. Everyone who comes here wants to cheat. Well, if Reyhan's good not to go. It could be dangerous until Anna meets her ex-minors" Diki said.
"Why me again, anyway? I also don't want to come. You guys," said Rey.
"Not good, dong, Rey. Without you like a vegetable without salt" said Diki with eyes glaring towards Reyhan.
"Yes .. I'll come."
"When's the show?" ask Dion.
"Tomorrow a night at the Sandika hotel" Diki replied. "I'll send it in a short message."
Dion nodded, "Alright .. I'll come."
Diki and Reyhan glanced at each other. The two smiled as they managed to persuade Dion to come along. Actually the reason for Diki to invite Dion, is to restore the man's cheer again.
Apparently Dion had returned as he had, but in his soul something was missing, and Dion could not hide it. The man was still filled with sadness.
...****************...
The reunion night finally arrived. A message from Diki informs him that he and Reyhan will await his arrival. Laziness haunts Dion. He refused to leave, but promised.
"Delilah!" exclaiming Dion.
"Yes" the boy shouted from inside the room.
"Get out of the room first" said Dion.
"You want to get out?" ask Bastian.
Dion looked at Bastian. "Yes, Pa. Dion's gonna be out for a minute."
"You just go. Let Papa tell Delilah you're gone."
"From that moment he was in the room. It must have been a jog-joget not clear him," grumbled Dion who knew his daughter was crazy about one social media.
"His name is also young. Let it go" said Bastian.
Dion nodded, then stepped out of the house. Bastian was getting relieved to see it. Dion slowly forgot all about his sadness.
"Father hope you get on with your life again, Dion," Bastian said.
...****************...
Dion showed the invitation card from his cell phone to the hotel maid. One of them escorted Dion to the ballroom where the reunion was held.
"Please, sir," said the man's servant.
"Thank you." Dion stepped into the ballroom. Apparently there were many guests who came and they gathered with each other.
"Dion!" yang yang Diki who waved his hand.
Of course, the center of attention, is Reyhan and his two best friends. Who doesn't know a Rey, Diki and Dion. From the beginning until they mature remains the most popular.
"Asik also met with his classmates," said Diki.
"Dion is the oldest because he didn't go to class for two years" Reyhan said.
"Hey, I didn't go to class. I've only been unemployed for two years" Dion said in self-defense.
"Yes, we know. You quit school because you were chasing a aunt" Reyhan said.
"So your eyes are here. Just watch out, all right, my nice eyes," Anna said.
"Yes, we heard," Reyhan and Diki said.
"What do they say if they know you two are scared of your wife?" chirps Dion.
"You are too." Diki lowered her voice. "I'll get some food first." Diki rushed to the food table to save himself from the guilt of not being able to control his own lips.
"I go first" said Dion.
"Papa just arrived. We'll eat first, yes," Anna persuaded.
"I'm not hungry. You guys just continue the show. The important thing is that I've shown a face here."
"Father Dion ... Diki certainly didn't mean that," Maya said.
"I'm fine" said Dion with a smile.
Reyhan could not say anything. He let Dion get away from the show. Diki who saw that also felt guilty. He really accidentally brought up Dion's memories with Dila.
"I was completely unintentional, Rey," said Diki.
"Already, Brother. He still remembers my mom" Rey said.
...****************...
"I shouldn't have gone to that show. It's a waste of time" said Dion, with his eyes focused on the road. He pulled the car over the side of the road. Dion got out of the car to the mini market.
He needs something that cools his heart and head. Dion was not at all offended by Diki's remark. He used to be so, too, and flirting with Dila, was a habit he liked very much. Dion left the party because he remembered his wife.
"If you were near me, dear" said Dion, exhaling deeply.
A wave of Dion's hand was seen in the mini-market refrigerator. He looked back, and a woman smiled at him.
"Miss Ar is here?" greet Dion.
"It just so happens, sir. Out of the salon stop by to buy a cold drink. Uh, I didn't know you were here" Ardila said with a smile.
"Oh, go ahead, please" said Dion, then headed for the cashier.
Ardila took cold drinks carelessly. He hurried after Dion who had paid for his drink at the cashier.
"Mr ... Where are you from?" ask Ardila.
Dion's forehead is wrinkled. "Do I have to answer your question? I don't think we know each other." Dion pulls the door, then exits the mini market.
"Wait, sir," said Ardila.
"What else is it?" ask Dion.
Ardila took out an invitation letter from inside the bag, then gave it to Dion. "This is my salon opening invitation."
"Who is this invitation for?" ask Dion.
"For Mister and Delilah" said Ardila.
"Who is this invitation for?!" ask Dion again.
Ardila flinched, "For Mister and Delilah."
"Do you think I'm the guy who's going to the ladies' salon? I remind you. If you have ulterior intentions, throw those thoughts away. I'm used to dealing with women like you" Dion said.
"What does Master mean?" ask Ardila.
"I'm the one who asked. What do you mean to give me this invitation?" Dion showed the invitation paper to Ardila. "My daughter is only fifteen years old. She's not the girl who spends time just to linger in the salon." Dion threw away the invitation paper, then got into the car and passed from before Ardila.
Ardila picked up the invitation paper that Dion had thrown away. "Why is he angry? I just gave you an invitation. If you don't want to come, yeah, whatever."
On the way, Dion cursed with annoyance. "Did he think I didn't know his covert intentions? Pretend plain when there is a want."
Seriate.
