My Uncle That Itched
Chapter 9. Fear

Alexa walks gontai in school corridor. His eyes were puffy because he kept crying all night. His uncle was angry when he found out he had secretly contacted his friend—Karin. Even his cell phone was confiscated by the man. Alexa turned to the left corridor to the toilet. He wanted to check his appearance again. So that later people do not see themselves who he believes are very messy.

Looked at his face in the mirror. It was true what he thought that his current state was so chaotic. He looks very lethargic and it feels like his eyes want to close immediately because last night he was awake until morning. Alexa is afraid that if last night she fell asleep later unclenya it will do things that are not good.

"Mommy I miss you."

Tears are dripping. The quiet toilet made Alexa unable to hold back her cries. He felt more and more depressed thinking about his days ahead with Darrel. Alexa does not know what to do while her intention to run away has failed. He was afraid to make the man angry again. Alexa misses Ariane, she wants the woman next to her.

Don't want to linger in there. Alexa came out of the toilet after making sure she looked better. He went upstairs where his class was. Just entered Karin– her friend stood up and watched Alexa.

"Lexa, you okay?"

"I came to Uncle Lo's house all night, but he said you're asleep, so why call me?"

The words coming out of Karin's mouth strongly implied the evident worry of the girl's tone of voice. Alexa sat on her stool trying to avoid Karin's gaze. He was afraid his eyes made his friend even more wondering.

"Gue gakpapa, Rin."

"What's wrong, obviously you said urgent."

"Yes but everything is clear" he said, keeping busy getting his books out. Intentionally so that Karin does not curgia why she keeps looking down. While Karin who was standing up to welcome the arrival of Alexa from the door is now starting to sit right on the bench next to Alexa.

"Lo sick, Le?" ask Karin to make sure.

"No." Alexa glanced at Karin through the tail of her eyes."Yesterday afternoon I just wanted to help you, I went to the key in the back room of the house uncle. I don't think anyone heard me so I called you to ask for help."

Not knowing it was a reasonable reason or not but what flashed in his brain was just that. He looked at his friend. Hope Karin believes it and doesn't have to question her again. Deep in his heart Alexa hopes Karin can help him but if she tells him she is afraid of Darrel's threat that says it will hurt Karin really happens.

Cracking stops. Karin just nodded as if she really believed what Alexa had just said. The two began to stare forward as the entrance bell rang and less than 5 minutes after a female teacher entered the classroom began the first subjects.

"Crezy."

Darrel kept drinking his jack drinks. No matter the one word that the man in front of her had just uttered. He closed his eyes enjoying the drink as it passed through his throat. There was a certain satisfaction when he swallowed the drink.

"Lo's really crazy, Rel," he said.

Darrel opened his eyes and looked straight at his friend who he had known since he was in high school. His lips lifted, smiling slanting and chuckling. He put his drink on his desk. Then look at the relaxed figure of Raka.

"Yeah, I'm crezy."

"You know how lo gini, ponak kan lo it will fear and eventually get away from lo-,"

"She's my girl." Darrel said firmly cutting Raka's sentence."He won't be far from me because I know how to make him always there in my grasp" he continued.

"Come on, man. Don't you want to be kinder to him?"

"Gue's been good enough to treat him."

"Okay."

Raka downed once more her coffe. His intention was to come to Darrel's office to discuss business. But his friend was enjoying his drink. He can even guess that Darrel will soon be drunk. After that his self-awareness was lost and the rummage was unclear. It was common for Raka to see. If bathed with him Darrel is the most like to drink.

"Lo company will be out of business if the leader of his work is drunk continuously."

Raka said then chose to leave Darrel's private room. No need to think about how Darrel was after, Raka just needed to leave her friend. He was lazy to hear the vague concoction coming out of Darrel's mouth.

"Alexa, I want to have you." rummaged Darrel just after Raka closed the door.

Alexa and Karin are out of class. Hours of rest have rung and at this time they will fill the stomach with food in the school cafeteria. Karin looked at her phone and then glanced at Alexa who was beside her.

"Lexa, come home from school with me shopping yuk, my friend."

Alexa silence.

"Gue can't do it, Rin."

"Why?"

"Hemm I'm not in the mood to go, sorry yes," said Alexa staring unwell figure Karin. While Karin, her friend nodded in understanding Alexa's decision.

They enjoy their own food. There is little talk going on but soon Alexa and Karin are busy munching on the spaghetti of her order. Alexa is not really an appetite for food. He thought that in a matter of hours he would meet his uncle again. Alexa was afraid to meet the man after last night that Darrel did to her. He could only hope that this time Darrel was in sane condition.

"Lo sick huh, Lex?" that question has been asked twice by Karin on Alexa.

"Not-not-,"

"But I just realized your face looks like shoots, lethargic too," said Karin.

"No, Rin. I'm not sleeping enough." Alexa was trying to believe her friend. He looked at Karin's face and hurriedly cast his gaze back. Alexa thinks Karin is starting to notice her puffy eyes. Although not as bad as this morning but if you see Alexa's eyes are still swollen.

"Gue gakpapa." Alexa said it again with confidence. Karin was still observing him, it seemed like this time Karin was completely aware of the state of her eyes. Because when Alexa wants to go back down to chew her food. Karin held her cheek.

"Lo cry?" ask Karin. Alexa hurriedly shook her head as her friend stared without a blink."I'm sleep deprived, Rin."

"Lack of sleep is not rich gini."

"Overnight uncle lo also said you're asleep" continued Karin.

"Yes I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep until morning, I just miss mommy."

There is honesty in his words. Because he really misses Ariane. Lately their communication has not been intense. Indeed after he told Ariane of Darrel's treatment. The woman was always on the alert and made sure of her condition. But now Darrel limits what Alexa does to even just contacting Ariane he should not say anything about the man.

"Say aunt Ariane deh, let you just nginep at my house. You must be lonely, there are no friends to tell."

"Do I need permission to aunt Ariane?" ask Karin and it makes it difficult for Alexa to just open her mouth.
